InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Dreaming of Reality ❯ Chapter Four ( Chapter 4 )
Kagome felt the satin slid of his fingers over her exposed skin, the glide of his palm across her chest, the pads of his fingers as they pressed her breasts in a massaging caress. Her breath caught in her throat as his lips moved in a tortuously slow motion of erotic bites along her neck.
When his other hand slid the length of her torso to the round flare of her feminine curve, then delved into the ebony locks at the apex of her thighs, passed the silky curls into her moist hot sheath, all air escaped them both. She pushed her body feverishly onto his thrusting, questing fingers, as they explored deeper and deeper in her raging body, which had exceeded the heat of a blazing inferno.
A coil began to build in her lower abdomen, twining tighter and tighter to the point she feared she wouldn’t be the same ever again if he didn’t keep his hands on her, didn’t relieve the ache she knew could only grow for him. Their hearts beat in tandem as she rose higher, ascending to heights of ecstasy she had never before seen.
With a shudder, and hoarse cry she released, brilliant colors burning behind her closed eyes, her bottom lip, which had been caught betwixt nibbling teeth, split as she bit down from the delicious eroticism of the sensation that continued to pulse in waves through her body, drowning her in an ocean of sated bliss. Liquid fire rushed from her core, sliding over his already slick fingers, and she gazed upon him as he slid those long, magical fingers into his mouth, suckling them until no more of her essence remained.
Kagome’s body trailed downward over his fiery flesh, and sated, lay content against her lover. The warmth of his skin alluded her, but the solidity of his chest impacted her body. His arms enveloped her and pulled her into the cushion of his body. Kagome turned, ready to return the favor, but as their lips met, he lifted his head, breaking the meager contact, and then, with a look of pure incredulity, vanished.
Too stunned, tired, and physically satisfied to move quickly, Kagome heaved her body upward, and into her waking form. The breath that had eluded her in her subconscious paradise rushed into her lungs, her chest rising and falling in sharp, urgent thrusts, as oxygen flooded her body.
Why? Always at the most important times he disappeared. That night they had met as usual, in the field by the woods, under the enormity of the universe in darkness, yet something had been different. Her body had become enflamed, and a siren’s call leap to life in her eyes, she was positive, for he had met them, and an answering flare had kindled in reply.
The question that had seemed so blatantly important had died upon her lips as the torch within her burst into life. All the surreal sounds of night had faded, the scenery tumbling away, as they fell upon one another in a tangle of passion. The simple lust had been there, but something founded a depth to the experience that, now, Kagome feared was a figment of her imagination, the mere thought of her lover caused the fire to bloom within her.
Sighing in complete frustration, which appeared to be her fashion of waking in the most recent of months, Kagome stretched in a purely lithe, and feminine expansion. In addition to her whirling emotions, mental shakes, and physical demands, Kagome’s soul began to burn from the inside, scorching her hold on life, compelling her toward something she seemed blind to, while knowing exactly what it was, at the same time.
The alarm clock on her nightstand read three a.m., but Kagome knew that sleep was not an option she would receive on her ’what to do now’ list. In jerky, uneasy movements she gathered her robe around her, and made her way to the bathroom, where she realized she would now have to change her underwear, and borrow Kencha’s tampons. Another wearisome sigh left her, and she finished up her morning ritual quickly, deciding to make breakfast for an army, just for the comfort of doing something.
Two and a half hours passed, and Kagome had come back from the culinary classes kitchen, she had several friends who allowed her access, and a key, they also received fifty dollars a month to make up for the supplies she used. She set up three places at a collapsible table they, her and Kencha, kept around.
Another twenty minutes passed and Kagome had finished preparing breakfast, which consisted of: pancakes, waffles, french toast, banana nut muffins, cheese omelets, bacon, sausage, oranges, banana’s, along with coffee, orange juice, and milk. Kagome strode over to Kencha’s “room”, and shook her awake, then repeated the action with Miroku, who had done his best to ignore her, until she threatened to de-man him.
“God Kags, don’t you know how to properly wake someone up?” Miroku was still groaning as he sat at the table, but once his eyes opened, he was profusely thanking her, and Kencha did as well, though she looked half asleep while drinking her coffee.
“Why the big breakfast?” Kagome shrugged.
“Sleep good?” Kagome shook her head.
“Want to say something, just so I know you’re alive in there?” Kagome gave him a piercing look, then sighed, again.
“Got my period. Want more details?” Quite the bitch come back, especially as Miroku was just trying to be nice, but she’d be damned if she was going to go through interrogation.
“ ‘Nough said.” He had that “why-did-you-just-tell-me-that” expression on his face, but Kagome ignored it, and stuffed her mouth full of pancakes.
Kagome chose to leave clean-up duty to the two slackers, who had yet to stop yawning, and went for a jog. She had gone about a mile, then on her way back, saw the library opening, it was about seven by then, and it always opened early, so she went in. When one of the nosy, uppity librarians asked if she needed help, she decided to just do the damn assignment she had been dreading. The woman led her to demonic hierarchy of the feudal era the moment Kagome informed her of the topic.
The massive parchment hung on the wall and two main family trees made up the entirety of the prodigious scripture. The first name was on the left, Taskahashi, obviously Inuyasha’s descendants, but across from them scrawled in smaller print said, Katahari, at the bottom the most recent of descendants was listed, one Kagome’s age, Naraku.
In total, Kagome found every possible thing about Inuyasha’s heritage, and had even found some oddly familiar tales of passed relations between his ancestry, and her own, but she needed to talk to him up close and personal, or the whole day of blown off classes for this research would have been for nothing, apparently her worst fear was coming true, she’d have to work with Inuyasha.
After giving in to the inevitable, Kagome packed up several charts she had made, with paper she had gotten from the library, and rushed to student directory. Inuyasha resided in a fraternity, big surprise.
As Kagome walked into the instructed building, she was assaulted with many pairs of eyes, some wolf whistles, and a couple lurid suggestions. She did her best to ignore them all, but when some guy grabbed hold of her ass as she was walking up the stairs, she blew.
In a quick, sharp movement, Kagome pinned some guy to the wall, slammed his head against it, and grabbed hold of his groin, all her body’s tension driving her. “You, or anyone else her touch me, or make another rude assault, verbal, or otherwise, and your all going to be missing a pair in the morning. Understand?” She gave a light squeeze for emphasis, and the guy, and every other one watching, nodded.
Someone from the top of the stairs laughed outright. Kagome glanced up, releasing the asshole, and found the one person she was looking for, Inuyasha. “Somebody rattle your cage, bitch?” Kagome walked up the stairs, pushed him backward, to make it onto the second landing.
“Listen, you. I have a project to do, and I’m here to do it, now move it, we have to do the whole info exchange.” Inuyasha ‘fehed’ and then led the way to his room. When they entered, Kagome glanced around, and found that he had a thing for red; there were red walls, carpets, bedspread, pillows, shoes, and, embarrassingly enough, boxers. She made her way to a red inflatable chair, and sat down, as he took his seat on the bed.
“So hurry up, what do you need to know?” Inuyasha looked completely bored out of his mind, and Kagome decided that she wanted answers to her own questions.
“Why do you hate me?” He looked up sharply, and met her gaze.
“I don’t hate you.” She gave him a look. “I don’t.”
“Yeah then why do you do the things you do to me?” Kagome really wanted to know, she hadn’t realized how much, until he tried to deny it.
“Well, why do you do the things you do to me?” She gave him the exasperated sigh, the rolling of the eyes, and shook her head.
“Never mind.” Now he was sitting up straight on his bed, and actually seemed interested.
“No tell me.” She didn’t answer him, merely stared as if she didn’t understand why he didn’t understand; the answer was obvious.
“Retaliation. You started it.” It sounded childish to her ears, but his reply was even worse.
“No, you started it.”
“Yeah? How? What did I do?” Kagome was ready to jump down his throat at the first thing he said.
“I don’t remember, all I remember is you did!” ‘This just keeps getting better and better’ Kagome thought to herself.
“Fine whatever. Let’s just get this stupid project done.” They went about giving each other facts, and tales, and any other information they might ask, but Inuyasha’s attention kept wandering to her legs every time she shifted. Her shirt was shimming upward, and the waist of her spandex shorts were curling down to her hips. Though she was his enemy, he couldn’t help the surge of heat that lit his blood on fire, nor could he help, but stare at her flat, bare midriff, something about her was oddly familiar.
Kagome felt his eyes on her, and couldn’t help but feel the feminine action of crossing her legs, which were encased in mid-thigh spandex shorts. When she ‘accidentally’ brushed a hand down her side, she heard his intake of breath, and an answering fire ignited in her lower abdomen. The second she felt it, she stopped her teasing, this was a dangerous game, and he was supposed to be her enemy.
The two worked diligently, mostly trying to distract themselves from the sexual tension filling the air, and slowly began to drift off, neither really talking anymore, just staring at their notes, and trying to discern the letters.
The woods shimmered to view, the soft breeze in the field swilled the bottom of her dress, and Kagome glanced around her. Her eyes closed as the light air swam around her, and oddly enough, the suns rays beamed down on her head. She felt his presence first, knew he was near, and an anticipation filled her, curling through her veins, and pulsing like a summoning beacon.
She opened her eyes as his fingers slid over her arms, he had come up from behind her. Reaching back, she massaged his ears, and turned in his arms, to welcome him. A gasp left her when she saw him, not just his eyes, but his face, his hair, his nose, his mouth, that mouth that had kissed and pleasured her. It couldn’t be!
The two students shot up in the room, and stared at one another. Neither saying anything for a moment and then, “YOU!”
