Chapter 10: The Banana <for lack of a better name>
"Oh Inuyasha!" Kagome moaned. Miroku was watching all that was happening from the sidelines.
"Do you like it?" Inuyasha panted.
"It's so big!" Kagome stated in awe.
"What do you want me to do with it?" Inuyasha asked, still panting heavily.
"You know what I want you to do with it," Kagome said with a wink. Inuyasha walked up to her and slowly put it in her mouth. "It tastes so good!" Kagome moaned through the thing in her mouth.
"I'm glad you like it," Inuyasha said, a large smile on his face.
"It's not very hard though," Kagome moaned a little in disappointment. Miroku was rolling on the ground laughing at his friends.
"It's just a banana!" he laughed out finally. <I bet you guys thought it was something else, huh? PERVERTS! ^_^> Kagome and Inuyasha looked over and glared at the monk rolling on the ground. "You don't know *gasp* how bad *pant* that sounded!"
"Hentai!" Kagome yelled, and slapped the young monk. Miroku couldn't help but laugh even more at their embarrassed faces.
"What's going on?" Shippou asked, coming out from the woods.
"Oh, Shippou-kun! Where is Sango-chan?" Kagome asked.
"She ran off with Kouga," Shippou said in a saddened tone.
"WHAT?!" Inuyasha yelled, ready to kill Sango.
"She wouldn't run off with Kouga though…she loves Sesshoumaru!" Kagome said, defending her friend, then slapping a hand over her mouth. "Damnit! I wasn't supposed to say that!"
"But I saw her!" Shippou cried out. "They were hugging, and then he started kissing her!" Miroku had stopped laughing long before, and this new news made him feel sad.
"I should have told her," he muttered under his breath so nobody could hear, but of course, the great Inuyasha heard. So did Sesshoumaru.
"Am I interrupting something?" Sesshoumaru asked, walking into the clearing.
"What the hell?! I didn't sense you!" Inuyasha jumped to his feet, ready to use Tetsusaiga on his older brother.
"Maybe it's going to be a new moon?" Kagura asked, stepping out from behind Sesshoumaru.
"What do you…oh shit! It is going to be a new moon!" Inuyasha muttered a few curses.
"Calm down Inuyasha!" Kagome said, resting a gentle hand on his shoulder. "Why are you here?" Kagome asked, looking between the two that Sango had so recently claimed to be her friends.
"We are looking for Sango-sama," Sesshoumaru said looking around the group. "Where is she?"
"She left with Kouga!" Shippou said, upset that Sesshoumaru and Kagura showed up. 'Shit! Now what am I supposed to do! Kikyou won't come near here with them here!'
"She may be with him, but they are still near here," Sesshoumaru said, sniffing the air. "I can smell them both."
"You can?! Great! Now you can go find Sango-chan!" Shippou said happily. 'At least this will get them out of the way for awhile,' he thought.
"You seem so eager for us to leave," Kagura smirked.
"What do you mean?!" Shippou asked, looking at her with fear in his eyes. 'Does she know?!'
"I will go look for Sango," Sesshoumaru said, turning to leave.
"No…I think we should wait here for a few minutes," Kagura said, her all-knowing-eyes boring into Shippou's soul…or so it seemed.
~*~*~*~About 10 Minutes Earlier~*~*~*~
"Kikyou, do something with them! You have a job to do, and if I'm gone for too long, the others will start to suspect something!" Shippou yelled at the priestess.
"You have no control over me, you little bastard," she snarled back.
"Wanna bet?" the kitsune yelled at her. Sango and Kouga watched the scene take place, not quite sure what was going on, or what to think.
"I will not do as you command me," Kikyou said, regaining composure, and appearing to have no emotions.
"If you don't mind, we'll be leaving now," Kouga commented, picking up Sango, then starting to run towards camp.
"Kouga, why did you say anything? We could have left unnoticed!" Sango groaned, amazed by Kouga's arrogant stupidity.
"Oh no you don't! Foxfire!" Shippou screamed, causing Kouga to stop. Shippou then used a binding spell, which bound Sango and Kouga to a tree with invisible ropes. If that wasn't bad enough, they were of course in an awkward position. Kouga had his back to the tree, and Sango was right in front of him, and needless to say, their invisible ropes held them very close together.
"Shit," Kouga muttered, trying to squirm free.
"AH! STOP!" Sango screamed, not liking the movement.
"You want free?" Kouga asked, a little irritation in his voice.
"Of course I do! But that's not going to help, baka!" Sango said, calming a little.
"She's right," Kikyou said, looking the two over. "It looks like I am needed elsewhere," Kikyou said suddenly, looking towards one of her soul stealers.
"You're not going anywhere!" Shippou screamed, then adding, "Except to get your job done for Naraku!" Kikyou sighed, and started to walk off. Shippou decided that he had enough, and brought out a very bedraggled Rin from behind a bush. "I'll kill the girl if you do not obey," he snapped. Kikyou spun around, and saw the little girl, unconscious, and near death.
"Fine," Kikyou said, and at that moment, Sango was sure she saw regret in her cold eyes.
"To make sure you two don't give away your location, and foil my plan, I'll put a quieting spell on you…and I'll have to cover up your scents and auras," and with that, Shippou cast three more spells, making Sango and Kouga unknown to the world. He then made their scent lead towards the south, in case anybody did try to follow the scent. "There!" he said, pleased by his work. "Oh, by the way Kikyou, there is a barrier around the girl, so you cannot take her and back out of this," he said, giving an all-knowing look to her.
"Hurry up," she snapped, not wanting to have to wait anymore.
"I'll see you soon, pet," he said casually, then ran off towards the camp.
~*~*~*~Back to the Present~*~*~*~
Kikyou looked at the two figures pinned to the tree, and then at the unconscious little girl. "Damn Naraku, he will pay for this!" she swore to herself. "Do not look so surprised, Sango," she said, seeing the girl's fearful eyes. "I think that this will cause Inuyasha to betray Kagome, but I'm sure that is all," she said, almost in a smug way.
'How could you?' Sango thought.
~*~*~*~
As the now enlarged group stood there, Shippou couldn't help but fidget some under Kagura's glare. After a few minutes, Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha both looked up and sniffed the air lightly. "I smell wolf," Inuyasha bit out bitterly.
"Is it Kouga-kun?" Kagome asked looking hopeful.
"I do not think so," Sesshoumaru replied, glaring at the clearing. Within another minute, a beautiful young female wolf came towards them.
"Ayame-chan?" Kagome asked, looking rather surprised.
"Hai," the girl responded, then looked around. "I am looking for Inuyasha's older brother, Sesshoumaru, and I was hoping you could tell me where I could find him," she said to them with a pleading tone.
"Why do you look for me?" Sesshoumaru asked, raising an elegant eyebrow.
"The Elder wishes to discus something with you," she explained.
"I am busy now," he replied coldly, and turned his back on the group, heading towards the area where he picked up on a new scent. 'It smells of earth and bones,' he thought coldly. Sesshoumaru started to growl and went full speed to find the dead miko. 'If she has done anything to Sango, I will kill her,' he thought to himself. When he finally came to Kikyou, he grabbed her by the throat and pinned her to a tree. "Where is Sango?" he asked, forgetting his cool composure completely. He was furious now, and wanted answers.
"Why should I tell you?" she spat in his face, which only infuriated him more.
"You'd better tell me now, fucking miko," he growled. 'I better calm down…I've never acted like this before,' he thought to himself, but it was not helping, he was just becoming even more pissed.
"Not that it will matter, she chose that wolf over you," Kikyou said, an evil plan forming in her cold mind.
"I don't believe you," Sesshoumaru hissed. Usually it was easy for him to tell if somebody was lying to him, but he could not quite tell with her.
'I know he won't be able to tell if it's a lie or not, because it technically isn't a lie,' Kikyou mused to herself.
