She ran, her feet beating a steady path through the forest, silencing the wildlife. Which made it that much easier to hear the resounding "Wench", cut throurgh the air. Halting, she was just behind a group of trees, sheilding her from view of the boy. With every intent to keep running, she broke free of the foliage, strinding pass him.
" Don't you dare think of leaving me like this, Wench!"
"It's Kagome. Not wench." She informed him as she stopped next to him. It was crazy those villiagers were no doubt after her, anh here she was walking over to him. "You're practically giving yourself over to them," she berated herself.
"What?" e openned his mouth to question further, then snapped it shut as she yanked the arrow out.
Throwing the arrow aside, the sound of pounding feet echoed around the. " I knew better, damn it." she mumbled as men poured out of the sournding area.

Sango's grip on Rins hand was vice like as they ran for all they were worth. They didn't stop till they reached the wel were there packs were still hiden inside. Panting, they assed the situation. Kagome wasn't here or close. What happened to her?
It didn't matter she could easily handle herself. She'd want them to leave, she'd demand it. She'd be angry if they didn't She knew how to track, like all of thm. Hell she was better then them, at everything. She'd find them and know what to do, have a plan like allways.
Decided, they grabbed up their packs, with one last glance over their shoulders, they fled. A sceret fear, that maybe just this once, Kagome wouldn't be able to handle this, flickered nside them.
