Chapter 1-Sesshoumaru's silent vow
Naraku didn't look so smug now. Byakuya did not even slow Sesshoumaru down, and what he saw through the Saimyoushou concerned even him. That worthless healing sword Tenseiga didn't appear so worthless anymore. He was indeed pleased when he learned of Toujikin's destruction by Mouryoumaru. It was pleasurable knowing Kagura's death had affected Sesshoumaru as well. Heh. He smirked inwardly. It is truly amusing that Sesshoumaru thinks he can defeat me, but I need to be alert, nevertheless. The Shikon no Tama will be completed soon enough and I'll finally be a full youkai with a perfected body.
“This Sesshoumaru will ensure that today you go to Hell.” His tone was even, but his blood was boiling. That damn Naraku had been allowed to live for far too long. That incompetent fool of a half-brother of his couldn't even find Naraku if he was naught 100 paces away. Just as well. He silently mused. He would indeed do nothing more than interfere and I would have to send him to Hell along with Naraku. But I do not wish to send the idiot to Hell just yet.
“Sesshoumaru…it is so kind of you to come to me so quickly. Your dear brother will not be able to save you this time. I am more than pleased to do you the honor of becoming one with me.” The anger I invoke in Sesshoumaru when Inuyasha is referred to as dear brother is laughable. Though, he does hide it well. He silently admitted.
“Enough.” The day Kagura died, I did feel for her and that is the only emotion this Sesshoumaru has ever felt. I will dispose of this trash Naraku myself. I do not wish for Inuyasha to interfere for he is my prey. Sesshoumaru thought as he swiftly rose into the air and easily sliced off the tentacles racing toward him.
“Kukuku…Sesshoumaru-you know that no matter how many times you cut me, you can't destroy me. In fact, the more you cut me, the easier it is for me to absorb you.” He wondered if Sesshoumaru would be able to send him to Hell. No matter, he thought. It would of course be a nuisance, but my heart would still be on this plane, along with the jewel. No one knows of its whereabouts but me. Heh.
“Before you perish, this Sesshoumaru will inform you that I know the location of the jewel, and it will give me pleasure to ensure all traces of you be erased from this world.” Sesshoumaru knew that he would make sure that worthless jewel was given to his worthless brother even though he was torn between making his half-brother suffer and knowing that Naraku would hate nothing more than Inuyasha reacquiring the jewel. Undoing all that Naraku had done would be more beneficial in the end, though he did inwardly smile at the reaction Inuyasha would surely have if he kept the Shikon no Tama for himself just to infuriate his half-brother. No, I already vowed to be Naraku's complete undoing. He knew that this is easier said than done since that would mean reviving that brat who almost killed Rin after his jewel shard was taken. Of course, he hadn't killed that brat in the first place because that's what Kohaku wanted, but he hadn't killed that mangy wolf demon, either. He wasn't worth my time, he thought as he rasied his now worthy sword, Tenseiga.
Naraku froze for an instant in horror. How did he find out where the Shikon no Tama was? How could he know of Kanna?
“Fool. Become one with my flesh, Sesshoumaru.” He said as the sent as many appendages as he could towards the inu-youkai.
But it was already too late. That instant of hesistation was all the time Sesshoumaru needed. He visibly smiled-further shocking Naraku-and fiercely yelled,
“MEIDOU ZANGETSU HA!” Normally, Sesshoumaru wouldn't have even bothered saying the incantation, but it delighted him knowing that Naraku would be spending eternity in Hell contemplating the skill that sent him there.
Massive amounts of electric blue energy swirled around Tenseiga as he yelled and slashed at Naraku. Naraku smirked as he thought inwardly about his own foolishness of actually being worried, however miniscule a feeling it was. He didn't even feel a hint of whatever move Sesshoumaru had just performed.
Just then, a large black circle formed behind Naraku, and Jaken laughed from the behind the rock where he and Rin were hiding and yelled at Naraku,
“There's no escaping the Meidou now, you filthy scum!”
“MEIDOU?!” Was Naraku's last word as the circle engulfed him and collapsed into a thin line in midair before completely disappearing.
“Amazing, Sesshoumaru-sama!” called Rin in awe of her master as she excitedly ran over to him.
“Rin, you stupid girl! You should expect nothing less of Sesshoumaru-sama!” He huffed before stumbling clumsily after chasing the young human girl, effectively running into Sesshoumaru, to Sesshoumaru's utter dismay.
Stupid toad, he thought, thoroughly annoying Sesshoumaru as he was savoring the feeling of effectively disposing of his prey.
“GOMEN! GOMEN NASAI, SESSHOUMARU-SA-“
The ugly little toad demon was then made even more so with the addition of an abnormally large bump on is head as his master slowly sauntered away.
“WAIT FOR ME, SESSHOUMARU-SAMA!” The little girl called out as she was followed by a two-headed dragon-looking creature.
“Sesshoumaru-sama…” Jaken called out weakly while still rubbing the tender flesh pulsing madly atop his head.
“SESSHOUMARU-SAMA!” Jaken quickly got up and turned around as his master was nearing the edge of the wood.
“SESSHOUMARU-SAMA!” Jaken anxiously yelled as he ran as fast as his little toady legs could carry him. “WAIT FOR ME!”
Miles away, both Kanna and Kikyo knew that Naraku was no longer on this plane of existence. Kanna knew what needed to be done, but Kikyo pondered grimly to herself as she stroked the ethereal snake-like creature gliding beside her. “Now, Inuyasha, should I take you tell Hell with me now? Or maybe wait until Mouryoumaru is cast from this plane as well…”
