Chapter 4: Kagomes first kiss
A/N: Sorry that I haven’t updated in a while. I have a 5 month old son and he was sick so…….. I don’t own anything. I‘m broke. *hides in corner* So, don’t sue me. (And for all you people that feel the need to look down on me because I have a son, get over yourselves. I’m 20 years old and I was married. So there!)

Kouga woke up just as the sun was rising. He sat up, looking around he noticed that InuYasha was gone. ‘Serves the bastard right.’ He thought as he looked over at Kagome. ‘He doesn’t deserve to be within 100 feet of my angel.’ He stood up to stretch when he noticed built up pressure in his bladder. After walking into the forest to relieve himself, he
walked over to rouse Kagome. “Kagome, love, you need to get up.” He slightly shook her. She sat up groggily. “What time is it?” she groaned. “Just before sunrise. Come on, we need to get going. There is something I want to show you before we get to my den.” She got up and ran her brush through her hair. “I don’t think I’ll need by bag. So, let’s go.” Kouga picked her up bridal style and took off. Kagome smiled and snuggled up against his chest, making Kouga grin.
“Aren’t we going in the wrong direction?” Kagome asked. “No.” Kouga answered “I told you I wanted to show you something first. We should be there in about 2 minutes.” “Oh, OK!” Soon they arrived at a cliff.
As Kouga sat Kagome back on her feet, she looked around. “Where are we?” she asked in awe looking over the edge of the cliff. “I used to come here with my mother before she passed away.” The sight over the cliff was breathtaking. A cerulean blue ocean pushed waves up against the cliff face causing beautiful white foamy splashes. “Oh My God!” Kagome gasped. The sun had just broken the surface of the water turning the sky all shades of purple, orange, and pink. The water reflected the colors making the scene awe-inspiring. Kouga had stepped up behind Kagome and wrapped his arms around her. Kagome leaned into him whispering “Kouga this is the most beautiful thing in the world.” Kouga looked down at Kagome and almost lost his breath. The light from the rising sun made her have an almost ethereal glow. ‘Not as beautiful as you, Kagome.’ He thought to himself. Kagome turned, looked up at him and smiled. Kouga looked down at her. Then, much to his surprise, she kissed him. It was just a light brush of her lips against his, but it meant everything to Kouga. Looking up at him, Kagome blushed ever so slightly.
Kouga took this as a chance for him to show his love for her. He turned Kagome towards him and pressed his lips fiercely against hers. Kagome was surprised but kissed him back. This was a kiss full of passion, lust and need. His tongue licked at her lips, begging for entrance. She hesitated at first, she was a little scared. She had never been kissed like this before and it felt wonderful! She let him into the warm cavern of her mouth. His tongue lightly stroked her gums and the roof of her mouth. Slowly she started to caress his tongue with hers. Kouga drew in a sharp breath. At this, Kagome became a little bolder. She started to attack his tongue more aggressively. Kouga growled and began to kiss her full force. His hands began to caress Kagomes body. Slowly, he moved his hands up and down her back. He slid his hands up the back of her shirt. At that point Kagome broke the kiss.
“Kouga…..” Kagome whispered. Kouga looked down into her eyes. “Kagome, I love you so much.” Kouga pulled her into him. “I would do anything and everything for you. You are my world. If you would just tell me that you loved me, I would follow you to the ends of time.”
Kagome lightly pushed away from him and took a few steps back. “Kouga, I do have feelings for you.I don’t quite understand them yet. But before anything goes further I need to sort out this stupid fucking situation with InuYasha and his clay bitch. I love the bastard but I’m not in love with him. You understand right? Of course you do, you always
understand. I also need to finish my search for the jewel shards and to finish off that asshole Naraku. My friends still need me and I will always be there for them.” Kouga nodded. “Of course, Kagome. I would never take you away from your friends. I will help you and follow you to the end.” Kagome smiled. “Thank you so much Kouga!” She kissed him lightly on the lips. She looked at the horizon. The sun had fully risen. “Alright. We need to get to your den if we’re going to get back to the gang before sundown.” Kouga picked up Kagome bridal style and took off.
In the dark of the forest near the cliffs, a shadowy figure laughed lightly. “Just as I planned it all.” The figure faded out of view.
