Chapter 10: Dreams to Reality
a/n sorry so long between updates. the repeated beatings from my writers block put me in traction so i had to type this out with my big toe. well, on with the story...
Kouga had no clue what was going on. One minute he had been fishing with Miroku and the next, Kagome was practically running to him telling him they were leaving the group and not coming back. That had been two days ago and he still didn't know why. At this point he knew beter than to ask Kagome. He had made the mistake of asking her one too many times and she had blown up at him. He wanted to yell right back in her face but since learning of her 'problem' he tried not to be harsh towards her. He didn't want her to hurt herself because of him. Just thinking of her scarred arms made him angry and he knew it showed.

"Damn it!" Kagome yelled. She couldn't get him out of her head. She had been having the same dream every night for the past week and she couldn't take it anymore. Sitting up in her sleeping bag she looked over the smoldering embers at the only real friend she felt she had right now. 'Kouga...' she thought to herself. Kouga could smell her before she had even moved. 'God, her scent!' he thought feeling his groin tighten. As he heard her get up and move over to him, he was trying to figure out what she ws up to. 'Maybe she's just cold.' he rationalized to himself. As she lay down next to him, he slowly opened his eyes. He could not believe what he saw. He moved over on his fur pelt to give her room but even as he moved over she pressed her body as close as possible to him and pulled the covers over both of them. Kagome had reached behind her back and began to remove her bra. Once she had it off, she began to remove her panties. Before she could get them off Kouga stopped her. "Kagome what are you doing?" he asked. "Oh, didn't you know?" she asked innocently. "It's easier to conserve body heat if your naked." she whispered in his ear. "So, you should remove your clothing too." she stated. That seemed logical to Kouga so he complied.
