And it was like this Kagome found them the next day. Although a small part of her felt jealous, she brushed it off as nothing. It was probably the part where Kikyo still lived inside her, being her reincarnation and all. They looked so happy and content together that Kagome could not be mad at all. "Perhaps I do not have to play Eros with them, I think they will fix it good on their own." She thought and entered Kaede's hut.

- Good morning Kaede-obaasan, smiled Kagome.

- Good morning Kagome-san. I hope you have been having a good time on the other side of the well, said the old miko.

- Yes I have. Hojo-kun took me to a romantic dinner and I got this, said Kagome and showed Kaede the ring she got from her fiancée.

- Oh dear, that was a fine piece of jewellery, said Kaede, much impressed.

- Now, I guess that something has happened here as well, began Kagome.

- Indeed it has my child. You saw the two outside I gather?

Kagome nodded.

- I am not sure what is going on, none is telling anything to me. But I think you might have some trouble in the near future, said Kaede with a serious voice.

- What do you mean?

- Miroku-sama is jealous, he thinks that…

- Sango is his bride to be… came the dark voice behind Kagome.

She turned around and saw the monk standing there with black eyes. He was furious. He had seen the intimate position of Sango and Inuyasha and that made him want to kill something, more specifically - he wanted to kill the hanyou for touching his girl.

- Miroku-sama… said Kagome.

- I will not tolerate this, not any longer. Sango agreed to be my wife after we have defeated Naraku, snarled Miroku.

- If I remember it correctly houshi-sama, I agreed if you could be faithful to me and not groping other women. But you have not been faithful, and you still think that your dirty mouth will get me into your bed!

Sango's voice dripped with venom. Her hands were balled into tight fists as she spoke her words.

- Sango-sama? But you promised, began the monk.

- To hell with that promise monk! Don't ever think that I will be your wife; you have polluted the sacred words of proposal. I will never, never, be your wife - do you fucking understand?!

Sango turned on her heels and walked out from the hut, she was oozing with fury. Kagome and Kaede stood there with gaping mouths, never had any of them heard Sango curse like that before. Miroku looked like he had been kicked in the balls. Then he came around and he stormed after the taijya, shouting her name.

- This will not end well, whispered Kaede with fear in her voice. - Especially…

She saw a red blur pass her window.

- Especially if Inuyasha gets involved… she ended.

- I better follow, said Kagome and did not wait for an answer from the older miko.

Kaede took a deep breath and awaited the earthquake. What a way to start a beautiful summer day ne?

Inuyasha saw Sango running with Miroku just behind her. "Not on your life pervert!" he snarled at the thought and leaped from tree to tree to get to Sango before the monk did. He landed next to Sango and grabbed her swiftly and took another leap into a tree. He saw her wide eyes and he smiled.

- I won't let him touch you Sango-chan, he said and kissed her nose and sat her down on the branch. - You are safe up here.

- Inu-kun, she breathed his name and grabbed the front of his haori and pulled him close to her face.

Before Inuyasha could say anything she kissed him hard on the lips. But he found himself cupping her face with gentle hands as he deepened their first kiss. A small whiff made him inhale deep again. That sweet smell that he had encountered yesterday was coming from the woman inside his arms once again. And just to taste her together with that wonderful scent, he moaned darkly.

Miroku was about to pop a vein when he saw Sango being kissed by Inuyasha high up the tree. His girl was being kissed by a hanyou. He growled impressively for a human and reached into his robe to find a sealing spell to cast on Inuyasha for touching something that belonged to Miroku alone.

Kagome reached Miroku just before he could do anything. She threw herself at him, effectively knocking him onto the ground.

- Don't do it Miroku, please, don't do it, she whispered.

- She is mine.

- No Miroku, she is not. Can you not see the love that they share for each other?

- I don't care! snarled Miroku.

- Then you are truly a fool Miroku, said Kagome, tears formed in her eyes as she grabbed the ofuda in his hand and placed it on his back, sealing him to the ground.

- Kagome… what the hell are you doing? screamed Miroku furiously.

- Making sure that you can not harm anyone with your rage Miroku-sama, said Kagome with a sad voice. - I will not allow you to hurt them.

- Kagome-sama, release me!

- Not until you have calmed down Miroku, said Kagome and she sat down on his lower back, making him let out an ooof. - I will not move from this spot until you have regained your senses.

Inuyasha saw Kagome and when she looked up towards the kissing couple she made a thumb up for them to continue. He blinked, showing his dear friend that he was glad that she had taken care of Miroku.

Sango had no idea of the violent behaviour of the monk. She was in a world painted in warm emotions. Just to feel his rough tongue play with hers had her wanting more. Her hands moved around to grab two fistfuls of silver hair; she rubbed her body against his, all in order to get more of the arousing feeling that grew inside her stomach. When she felt one of his hand trail down her back towards her behind she did not feel the things she felt when Miroku had touched her, instead she wanted more of Inuyasha's touch. She wanted him to move over her womanly features. "Gods, what is wrong with me..?" she thought in a second of clear logic.

- Sango… he whispered her name into her mouth.

- Please..

- We need to stop, he said with a rough voice.

- What is happening Inuyasha?

- I am not sure Sango-chan, but do I know that I really like kissing you.

- I like when you kiss me, said Sango with a shaky voice. Her blush went deeper when she felt him take hold of her behind and pull up her kimono so he could get her to straddle his thighs.

- Mm, and when I kiss you, began Inuyasha and placed a small kiss on her lips. - You begin to smell that good again, like you did yesterday.

Kagome heard their little conversation and she wanted to giggle and at the same time she was feeling like she was the fifth wheel. The whole thing did not get any better when she saw a white blur appear next to the tree. "Sesshoumaru??"

The stoic demon lord made a disgusted face when he saw the cuddling couple in the tree.

- Hmpf, I think I am going to be sick, he grunted.

- Sesshoumaru-sama, what are you doing here? asked Kagome.

- I am wondering the same thing miko, said the lord. - This is quite disturbing.

- What do you mean?

- Well, you are sitting on the monk while you are watching two people who are about to mate in a tree.

Kagome was sure her face was beet red. Yes, to a spectator, this would look rather unpleasant and disturbing. She tried to figure out something to say but she ended up stuttering like a fool instead.

- Hmpf, I think I will come back another day, said Sesshoumaru and shot another glance towards his half brother.

Before Kagome could say anything he was gone.

She heard a rumbling sound underneath her butt and she looked down on Miroku.

- Have you calmed down yet Miroku-sama? she asked.

- No…

- Well, I better sit here and enjoy the fine weather then, she said with a gentle smile. - Hey Inuyasha, why don't you and Sango head back to Kaede-obaasan for some breakfast?

Sango heard Kagome's soft voice and she snapped out of the erotic daze Inuyasha had put her in and she turned her face from his. She mumbled something about Kagome being right and the hanyou nodded. He picked her up bridal style and jumped down to the ground.

- It's ok, I will hold him here as long as it takes. He must calm down and reach his senses before I am letting him up again, smiled Kagome.

- Thank you Kagome, said Inuyasha.

- Get the hell out of here now.

Inuyasha nodded and headed back to Kaede's hut for some breakfast. While he was running he could feel Sango nuzzle her face into his neck and he shivered. It felt so right to carry her like this, to have her so close that they threatened to fuse together as one.

Shippou came running towards Kagome. She was busy tending to her nails, humming on a song that she could not remember the name of.

- Kagome?

- Hey Shippou-chan.

- Why are you sitting on Miroku? asked the kit very confused.

- Because he is behaving very badly and he will remain here until he knows how to behave, said Kagome and patted the black head of the monk.

- What happened?

- Well, let us just say that we might have to prepare for a wedding very soon Shippou-chan, smiled Kagome.

- Wedding?

- Yes, a wedding.

- Who will marry who? Shippou was beyond confused now.

- THERE WILL BE NO MARRIAGE!!screamed Miroku as best as he could from his humiliating position.

- I am sorry Miroku-sama, I am sure that you can not do a thing about it. Why do you not accept it? sighed Kagome.

- She will not be that hanyou's mate as long as I can breathe…

- Who will be Inuyasha's mate? asked Shippou.

- Sango-chan, have you not notice this Shippou-chan? Have you not seen how they act together?

- They are chasing each other and laughs, said Shippou.

- Mm, they like each other.

- They do not!! spat Miroku.

- Yes they do, don't argue with me on this houshi!!

- Sango and Inuyasha? asked Shippou.

- Yes, they love each other, but Miroku will not accept their union, that is why I am sitting on him until he does, explained Kagome with a soft smile to the kit.

- Did Sango stop loving him because he can not keep his hands away from girl's unmentionable parts? asked Shippou innocently.

- Yes, and now she loves Inuyasha, said Kagome.

- SHE DOES NOT LOVE THAT FILTHY HANYOU!!

- He is in denial?

- Yep he is, said Kagome.

Shippou took a leaf from his haori and put it on Miroku's back as well. He motioned Kagome to move away and she did. Suddenly the monk had a heavy stone statue on his back.

- That would keep him in place for a few hours. Perhaps he has calmed down until then, if he has not, well, I got plenty more leafs, said Shippou.

- Good job Shippou-chan, giggled Kagome. - Come let us go back to Kaede-obaasan to get something to eat.

- Yay!!

The two walked away, leaving a cursing monk to ponder about his future.
