Hey just a little question before hand: I was reading a fanFic not too long ago, about Inuyasha, he had three children, and apparently Kagome had died giving birth to one of them..(obviously the last one)… anyway, so then he meets up with Kouga who like helps him and stuff… what fic is that? Does anyone know? Cause I spaced out adding it to favorites and I really want to read the rest of it… Hmm.. anyway if you could let me know that would be cool… on with the fic!!

“I knew it. I shouldn’t have told her not to go out with him. It just made her want to make me mad.” Inuyasha said to Miroku as they waited for Sango.

“I’m sorry Yash. I thought you knew she was seeing him tonight. Otherwise, I might have kept my mouth shut.”

“Nah. It’s better that I know. Now I can give her hell tomorrow.” Inuyasha smiled.

“Hey guys.” Sango came outside. “Sorry I took forever.”

“I would wait a thousand years for you my Sango.” Miroku said. Sango blushed, and Inuyasha scoffed.

“Come on, or we’ll miss the movie.” Inuyasha sulked toward the car.

“What’s up his butt?” Sango asked.

“His Kagome is on a date with Kouga tonight.” Miroku whispered back.

“Well that shouldn’t bug him too much. It’s not like he ever made a move.” Sango said, rolling her eyes.

Inuyasha’s ear twitched. “I can hear you stupid!” He yelled as he got into the car.

“Touchy.”

Inuyasha got back from the movies, just as glum as he had been before. He went immediately back to his apartment and waited. Usually Kagome would call him… unless she was actually enjoying herself. In which case, he would just go to her house and check up on her.

It came to be nearly midnight, and Inuyasha had fallen asleep. He shifted in his chair and he heard faintly the sound of his own name. It was coming from Kagome. She was in trouble. But he couldn’t see her, or find her. Her scent was no where. He sat up quickly. He looked around the room and realized he had been dreaming. He couldn’t shake the feeling that it wasn’t a dream. He grabbed his keys and left for Kagome’s.

He threw rocks at her window for a good five minutes before finally just letting himself in. Her apartment was completely empty. He cursed loudly, meriting a ‘shut up’ from the lady next door, and took off.

He was at Kouga’s before he knew it and sniffed around. Kagome was definitely still here; and she was hurt. He climbed the stairs three at a time and opened the front door. It was unlocked and he was suspicious. He crept up the stairs and heard labored breathing from behind the bedroom door. He growled, not knowing if he should barge in or not. Then he heard a sound that made him forget everything else. It was Kagome’s voice, muffled, and strained. She was obviously crying. She whispered his name and he flew into the door. It had been locked, but that hadn’t stopped him.

Kouga was straddling Kagome, his eyes demonic and red. He was snarling viciously and biting Kagome, drawing blood with each pierce of his fangs. Kagome was crying beneath him, having given up trying to get away. Her clothes were shredded and her body already showing horrible bruises.

Inuyasha growled, sounding nearly as vicious as Kouga. He lifted Kouga by the neck and threw him against the opposite wall. Kagome realized that Inuyasha had come to rescue her and she nearly smiled.

“Inuyasha, you were right. I shouldn’t have . . . I’m sorry I . . .” But Inuyasha wasn’t listening.

“GO!” He shouted, advancing on Kouga. “Get out of here!”

Kouga stood up prepared to fight. Inuyasha was too fast for him. Kouga dodged a punch, only to receive a kick to the side. Kouga lashed out, determined to get rid of Inuyasha soon. But Inuyasha wasn’t going anywhere. He got Kouga in a headlock and tried to cut off his air supply. Then he threw Kouga to the ground and began to strangle him. The air was shut off to his lungs and Kouga began to gasp, trying to take in any air he could. Kagome then came running back in.

“I’ve called . . . Inuyasha stop!” She screamed.

Inuyasha didn’t stop. He was going to kill this bastard. “Inuyasha!” Kagome’s voice was distant. It didn’t matter. He wasn’t going to let the wolf live.

“Inuyasha, please, he’s not worth it.” She put her hand on his shoulder and he snapped out of whatever trance he was in.

He no longer felt he could kill the wolf, still struggling for life beneath him. He shook his head, and released his grip. He looked behind him and saw Kagome. She was on her knees, weakened by the events. She was still crying, and the look she gave Inuyasha, made him determined to stop at nothing to fix this.

“Kagome,” he began. “What . . . are you . . .did he?” he didn’t know what to say. How had he known she was in such trouble? Why wouldn’t she let him kill Kouga? Why didn’t she just listen to him?

Kagome threw her arms around Inuyasha and sobbed uncontrollably.

Kouga didn’t even bother to try and get away. He stayed on the floor, growling lightly. Inuyasha refused to let Kagome out of his grasp. He rocked her back and forth, gently rubbing her back. She stopped crying and eventually closed her eyes, feeling safe with Inuyasha.

The police arrived and began searching the room for ‘evidence’ on what happened.

“Perhaps we should take them downtown, for proper questioning.” One officer said.

“They look like they’ve been through a lot. We could get a basic statement tonight and call them down to the station tomorrow.” The other suggested.

“I don’t care where we have to go to make a statement.” Inuyasha spoke up. “Just make sure that he gets cuffed and thrown in a five by five concrete cell.”

“Is he the . . . perpetuator?” The first police officer asked.

“Yeah, he raped my best friend.” Inuyasha bit back bitterly.

“Put him in cuffs and take him to the holding cell.”

“Holding Cell?” Inuyasha asked.

“Until the young girl makes a complaint, we have no evidence to sentence him, with just your word.” The officer explained.

“Listen officer-”

“Sergeant Cage.” He said. “And this is Detective Shishler.”

“Fine. Sergeant Cage, this man can’t be in just holding. He needs to be secluded and locked up for life.”

“I understand you are a Hanyou.” Sergeant Cage said.

“Yeah I am.” Inuyasha knew it. They were going to try and discredit his opinion because he was a Hanyou. “He’s a full wolf-demon.” He said angrily.

“I’m just trying to get the facts.” The man said calmly. “How are we to know that you weren’t the young man trying to force himself upon this young woman?”

“What!? Are you kidding me?” Inuyasha hadn’t meant to shout so loud. The noise woke up Kagome and she sniffled, looking around confused.

“What’s wrong?” She asked, looking at Inuyasha’s outraged face. She looked at Kouga, who had just now received handcuffs. “What’s he still doing here?” She asked, pointing at Kouga.

“They think I did this to you.” Inuyasha explained. “They’re only taking Kouga to ‘holding’. They aren’t taking him to jail yet.”

“You have to.” Kagome said, anger apparent in her voice (though it remained soft and calm). “He . . . he tried to . . .”

“It’s okay Kagome. Talk when you’re ready.” The Detective said.

“Tried to?” Sergeant Cage interrupted..

“Yeah, but Inuyasha got here just in time.” She smiled at Inuyasha.

“So he never actually . . .”

“He would have if Inuyasha didn’t come looking for me.” Kagome said.

“Looking for you? So you were missing?” Sergeant Cage pressed on.

“Ugh! No. Inuyasha just . . . knew.”

“You knew?”

“Yeah. I knew. Kagome means the world to me and I can tell when she’s in trouble.”

“Come on Sergeant, let’s just take This Kouga Guy down to holding, for now.” He added to Inuyasha and Kagome. “Then, we’ll move on to trial.” Detective Shishler looked at Kagome, “Dear, we’re going to have to take you to the county physician for a once over, and maybe question you further.” He said.

“Fine.” Kagome stood up, Inuyasha standing with her.

“Inuyasha, was it?” Sergeant Cage asked. “If you’ll come with us.”

Inuyasha was separated from Kagome and cuffed. “What?” He asked, looking at the officer who cuffed him. “What did I do? Why are you cuffing me?”

“What are you doing to him!?” Kagome shouted. “He didn’t do anything.”

“He’s being arrested on grounds of attempted murder.” Sergeant Cage said.

“No!” Kagome shouted. “He was just trying to protect me. It was self defense.”

“He tried to kill me long after you were safe.” Kouga spoke up. He had a smirk on his face and a snigger in his voice.

“No!” Kagome repeated.

“It’s okay Kagome.” Inuyasha said, being led out the door. “He deserves to die. If you hadn’t stopped me I’d a killed him.”

“Yash.” She reached out for him, but her hand was taken by Detective Shishler in stead. “Come on Kagome.” He said gently. “Let’s get you to that physician.”
