Sesshomaru sat on the stairs overlooking the street below. Inu Yasha, Sango, Miroku, and all of the pups had returned from their trip into the city, however, Kagome had yet too. Inu Yasha had taken guard in the God tree, thankfully far away from him. Everyone else was preparing to sleep. Mrs. Higurashi had returned to her family whom she said was in some place called Hawaii. Kagome should have returned. He kept repeating in his mind, but each repeat brought no comfort. Inu Yasha had only shrugged when he had questioned him on where his mate could be.
Flashback~~~~“This Sesshomaru has allowed his mate to leave these lands and she has not returned.”“Keh, you mean you pissed her off again and she left.”“Hn.”“She’ll come back, after all her pups are here.” Inu Yasha had goaded. End~~~~~~~~~~~
A tick began to grow over one eye. If only he hadn’t pushed the question he so dearly wished to be answered. The sun was setting and night would be on them in hours. Standing he prepared to search for her when Sango came walking over to him. ”Kagome just called, she’s with some friends and won’t be back until late tonight. She said the pups will be fine until she comes home.”Looking angrily as the slayer she shrugged and walked off. Leave it to Kagome to push him to wits end and then send a message. Growling under his breath he knew there was nothing he could do, Kagome had made up her mind and he had no way of changing it.
Kagome looked over the forest at the edge of the city with awe. She had spent all day with her son, even threatening to rip his ears off when he had said he had to go, in which she had gotten to go to her Grandchildren’s school and hide and watch as they were ushered off in a limo to some unknown place she knew she couldn’t yet go. However it was time to go home and she knew it. Shisuki had let her borrow his cell phone, and she had let everyone not to worry about her. Shisuki stood on the other side of the chain link fence that kept them apart. “I’ll try and see you again tomorrow Momma, but I have something I have to do.” Shisuki waved and bounced off into the trees.
Kagome watched with tears in her eyes. Today had been a good day, Sesshomaru had left her alone, he didn’t have to deal with fighting or arguing, ya, it was a good day. Her son had grown up though. He was a man now, older then she was now. Wiping away tears on her cheeks she let the wind carry her into the air and back towards the shrine.
Moving over everyone and saying nothing Kagome landed in the middle of the courtyard and headed straight into the house. Not even bothering to say hello to anyone she headed upstairs to tend to her pups.
Sesshomaru watched Kagome noting the melancholy that soaked her aura. Inu Yasha looked down from his perch and they both shared a look. Something had happened to cause Kagome to be thinking too hard. Sesshomaru sighed and sealed himself away preparing for her temper. Walking up the stairs to his mate’s room Sesshomaru knocked before he entered.Kagome had already transformed and was laying on the bed feeding their pups. She looked up at him and something in her eyes stopped him short of standing in front of her.They stayed staring at each other until the pups one by one finished feeding. They were growing rapidly but Kagome and Sesshomaru expected no less.“Summon Inu Yasha, have him take the pups outside. I think they should get use to outdoors. “Sesshomaru nodded and sent a spark of energy to Inu Yasha knowing he would come to see what was going on. It took only a minute before Inu Yasha was knocking at the window grumbling. “What the hell do you want?” Sesshomaru opened the window. “You will take the pups outside.” “Keh, the hell I will. Fuck you fluffy.” Inu Yasha turned to leave.“Inu Yasha. Please.” Kagome growled knowing her friend would understand the growled Inu language.“Why should I? They’re not my pups.” Crossing his arms Inu Yasha waited for an answer.“Because, Sesshomaru and I need to talk. And besides I know your secret.” Kagome teased. Inu Yasha visibly stiffened but tried to hide it with a snort. “don’t know what you’re talking about Wench.” “I think you do, I don’t agree with it, but I know a lot more things than anyone is giving me credit for. ““Keh like what? You’ve been annoying since we got back. Like those charms, You didn’t make them, but fuck if I know where you got them. And another thing you’ve been talking to yourself a hell of a lot.”“Not to myself. Thank you very much, I’m not crazy.” Kagome sighed having problems talking, she returned to her demon/human form. Grabbing the blanket at the end of the bed she covered her nude self. “If you’re going to push the subject, which I know both of you will you might as well come inside and sit.” Kagome moved her pups to her other side and let then curl into her back under the blanket. “Ya’ll are going on a diet.” She muttered amazed at their weight. Finally settled in Kagome fluffed a pillow and set a barrier.
“Ok where to begin, without screwing up time. Well first off I just you should know that we have to be at the top of Mt. Hakuri in a few days. It’ll probably just be us three, four. I’m not sure. Four being your Dad, not sure how that works out but I can’t even explain that one. Ummm…” Kagome rubbed her eyes feeling a headache coming on. “Damn. Ok I’m just going to make this easier on myself and you. Whatever is said in this room doesn’t leave it, agreed?”“Keh whatever.”“No Inu Yasha. Not whatever, if you do one thing that brings attention to anyone, everything could change. What I know, if anyone else knew, could change what has already happened. Fuck me.” Kagome rubbed her head more. How do explain a science that no one knows yet to two men that don’t even know what science is. “Just promise me neither of you will do anything stupid to ruin time. Promise me you will do as I say and not whatever you get the urge to do.”“You have my word, for what it’s worth.” Sesshomaru said knowing this would be something he would have problems understanding. “Keh, fine, you have my word.”“Great, half a word a piece from both of you. Nevermind, I’ll take what I can.”“Mate, this one knows he has broken promises to you but he knows that if you say things can change time then you mean it. This one know that you have a better…grasp on things this one doesn’t understand.”“Your right, your word doesn’t mean shit to me, and Inu Yasha your word means a lot to me, but when I comes to things that should be kept secret, you tend to blurt things out. We probably killed Naraku a long time ago if you hadn’t go to Kikyo and told her every one of our plans. ““I know that now. You can trust me.”“Alright.” Kagome sighed and relaxed. Behind her the pups were restless. One scratched her back and Kagome looked over her side and popped the covers up. “Behave.” One pup looked up out of the rest and gave her alert eyes. Kagome growled something to him and he continued to stare at her. “Go to sleep.” It whimpered at her and placed a clawed hand on her ribs. “No, you’ve had your dinner.” He whimpered some more, before Kagome grabbed him by the scruff and pulled him to her chest. Kazuhiko snuggled into her chest and promptly fell asleep listening to his mother’s heart. Kagome held her pup close and looked back at Sesshomaru and Inu Yasha. Sesshomaru had a look of a jealous father, you could tell he was envisioning himself where the pup was. Inu Yasha just looked happy, Kagome could tell he was thinking of his mother. “Ok you two. Sesshomaru, Inu Yasha.” Kagome growled. Both men snapped out of their dazes and tried to brush it off. “I’m asking you to keep your mouths shut because we made it to this era. I don’t know who all is here or what happened in the past but I know that we exist in this era. “Sesshomaru and Inu Yasha leaned forward to listen.“My contact, who will remain hidden, has told me we have to be at Mt. Hakuri on Halloween, which is in 6 days or so, maybe 5. I figured we’d all cross and I’d strengthen the barrier of the village. The pups will be fine with cow milk for a few days. Another thing is once we go back I’ll never be able to come home, the well closes forever.” Kagome looked down at the pup in front of her when he burrowed deeper into her.“Keh, you knew it would happen sometime. At least you know we are here in this era. It’s not like you die or something.” Inu Yasha folded his legs under him and crossed his arms tighter to his chest. Kagome gave him a dirty look and Sesshomaru hit him over the head causing him to fall from the chair and onto the floor, face first. Kagome sighed, “Thanks, I know how much you’re going to miss your Raman.” Inu Yasha’s ears twitched, then his head popped up. “No Raman?”“Not for 500 years.” Kagome acted looking up with false sadness in her eyes, and a fake tear.Inu Yasha popped up and before Kagome knew what was going on. Inu Yasha grabbed Kagome’s bag off the dresser and shredded it trying to get the card out he know that would save his shrinking world. “Inu Yasha.” Kagome sang. The hanyou looked over his shoulder. “I’m sorry you’re losing your Raman, but I’m losing my family. Before we leave I’ll get you as much as I can.”“Thanks Kagome.” The hanyou placed what was left of the purse back on the dresser.
Sango looked up as Miroku walked towards her. “Sango I have a very serious question for you.”“What is it Miroku?” Sango looked up from her place watching the kids play.Miroku knelt in front of her and took a single hand in his. “Sango, you have already agreed to be my wife. I want to ask you to think about maybe marrying me here, at the shrine.”Sango stared open-mouthed at the monk in front of her to shock to say anything. She instead just nodded yes.
Kagome finished telling Sesshomaru and Inu Yasha almost everything she knew. Both men began to understand that she wasn’t insane and also why she had been so distant. “Let me get this straight. We’re here, in this era, but you don’t know anything more than that, but you do a few things about the past that is going to happen. Then there is some stuff you just can’t tell us, but you know how to open the gates between worlds and a few people who will be coming through?”“Pretty much. Trust me, no one will complain about who comes home. Now will you please take my pups outside?” Kagome whined.“Keh, fine wench, but I want a hell of a lot of Raman for this.” Inu Yasha took two pups and leapt from the window to deliver them to Sango. He came back moments later and grabbed the last two. All four cried as they left the warmth of their mother. Kagome stood leaving the blanket on the bed not bothered that she had nothing on and closed the window locking it and closing the blinds. “I think we need to talk Sesshomaru.” Kagome replaced the barrier and turned to the stoic demon sitting on the chair. At the mention of his name he bowed his head and looked towards her. Kagome placed her hands on her hips and took a deep breath. “I’ve been a bitch. I’m sorry. I’ve drug you through the proverbial mud, and have done more to you then you deserve. I’m not normally like this but in four months my life has gone to hell and I blame you. We’ve done the whole I’m sorry thing twice now and it’s getting old. I’m tired of tip-toeing around you or being down-right cold. You don’t like it, I can tell, you’ve been acting like a kicked puppy, and it’s really getting to me. You understand now how I feel and how I hurt, and I’m sure you’re going to piss me off sometimes and I’ll annoy you with my habits, but you have been trying, which is a hell of a lot more then I’ve been doing.” Kagome stomped over and grabbed a handful of silver hair and jerked hard causing Sesshomaru to snarl and look at her. “There we go. The asshole I’ve come to get used to.” Keeping her hold on Sesshomaru’s hair Kagome straddled his thighs and sat in his lap. “I can’t hate you as much as I try, so I’m going to stop trying. My beast fears you because it thinks I should be submissive, well that’s not me. “ Kagome tightened her grip, “Tell me Mate, what do you want? What is that you want from me?”
Sesshomaru reached up with his speed and gripped Kagome’s wrist hard enough she had no choice but to let go of him. Pushing her hands behind her back he held them in place and took his turn grabbing her hair. “This Sesshomaru, wants the one thing he can’t have.” Kagome smiled evilly. “You want my kiss, Sesshomaru? Give me a reason to give it to you.” Sesshomaru raised one eyebrow before standing and tossing Kagome on the bed. Not bothering to maintain the human clothes he had received, Sesshomaru ripped the material from his body and climbed on top of his mate. “You have tested my patients for too long.” Sesshomaru growled in Kagome’s ear as he kneaded the flesh of her breast. Biting his mating mark on her neck, Sesshomaru spread Kagome’s legs and used one hand to play with to buddle of nerves that lay there. She wrapped her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck. Sesshomaru started with a slow pace keeping a steady rhythm and slowly built his speed and strength. Kagome met his thrusts with her own taking his flesh in her and as deep as she could. Sesshomaru groaned as he felt his body tighten, below him Kagome moaned and he felt through their bond her own climax coming. Sango held two pups who seemed to take comfort in the heat of the power as it breathed through the barrier. “What has happened?” Miroku asked rubbing it arms. “Who fucking knows.” Inu Yasha clutched two pups tighter to his sides. “Pistttt.” Sango looked to her left and noticed an oddly dressed man. “Sango.”“Who are you?” She asked catching the attention of everyone standing with her. “It doesn’t matter. Kagome and Sesshomaru will be busy for quite a while. Follow me.” He pulled his ball cap further down and turned on is heal. “Why should we follow you?” Inu Yasha snarled passing the two pups.The man sighed and crooked his figure towards Inu Yasha. Inu Yasha went around the building and crossed his arms. “I don’t know who you think you are but nothing Kagome has told me about her time…” Inu Yasha trailed off at the man removed his cap and shook out his hair. Dropping the hood from the sweater Inu Yasha stood in shock. Leaning back around the building he looked at his group standing there looking lost and a single boy how holding the hands of two of his siblings.“Momma and Dad, are caught in some God thing, it will take a couple hours for them to come back and another couple hours for them to reign in the power. The Kagome in this era sent me to take care of you. You can’t tell anyone who I am, especially my past self.”“Keh, Kagome has explained the time thing.” Inu Yasha leaned back around the building and gave a handful of gruff orders. Shisuki led the younger version of his family into the city and towards the movie theater.
Kagome clung to Sesshomaru breathing deeply, unclenching her legs Kagome dropped them to Sesshomaru side. “Mate, I believe we have an audience.” Sesshomaru sat up and pulled his mate into his lap.You have joined together as one. Many things have been set in motion. You have raised power that many would say rivals that of our power. Thus you will be training with new strengths that neither of you will have imagined. Lady Miko Kagome, when you are trained you will become the Goddess of Balance and Truth. Lord Sesshomaru, when you have been trained you will become God of War and Wisdom. You will sit among those on Earth and watch over where we cannot.

Sesshomaru reached up with his speed and gripped Kagome’s wrist hard enough she had no choice but to let go of him. Pushing her hands behind her back he held them in place and took his turn grabbing her hair. “This Sesshomaru, wants the one thing he can’t have.” Kagome smiled evilly. “You want my kiss, Sesshomaru? Give me a reason to give it to you.” Sesshomaru raised one eyebrow before standing and tossing Kagome on the bed. Not bothering to maintain the human clothes he had received, Sesshomaru ripped the material from his body and climbed on top of his mate. “You have tested my patients for too long.” Sesshomaru growled in Kagome’s ear as he kneaded the flesh of her breast. Biting his mating mark on her neck, Sesshomaru spread Kagome’s legs and used one hand to play with to buddle of nerves that lay there. Kagome fought Sesshomaru’s grip on her wrists trying to get away from the torture he was exacting on her body.“Sesshomaru, you’re not playing fair.” Trying to pull her hands free Kagome closed her eyes as the first orgasm racked her body. Sesshomaru’s heart soared; leaning over his mate he positioned himself and slowly entered her body. Kagome cried out again once he was fully inside her. She wrapped her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck. Sesshomaru started with a slow pace keeping a steady rhythm and slowly built his speed and strength. Kagome met his thrusts with her own taking his flesh in her and as deep as she could. Sesshomaru groaned as he felt his body tighten, below him Kagome moaned and he felt through their bond her own climax coming. The power expanded until it met the barrier Kagome had erected. Sango held two pups who seemed to take comfort in the heat of the power as it breathed through the barrier. “What has happened?” Miroku asked rubbing it arms. “Who fucking knows.” Inu Yasha clutched two pups tighter to his sides. “Pistttt.” Sango looked to her left and noticed an oddly dressed man. “Sango.”“Who are you?” She asked catching the attention of everyone standing with her. “It doesn’t matter. Kagome and Sesshomaru will be busy for quite a while. Follow me.” He pulled his ball cap further down and turned on is heal. “Why should we follow you?” Inu Yasha snarled passing the two pups.The man sighed and crooked his figure towards Inu Yasha. Inu Yasha went around the building and crossed his arms. “I don’t know who you think you are but nothing Kagome has told me about her time…” Inu Yasha trailed off at the man removed his cap and shook out his hair. Dropping the hood from the sweater Inu Yasha stood in shock. Leaning back around the building he looked at his group standing there looking lost and a single boy how holding the hands of two of his siblings.“Momma and Dad, are caught in some God thing, it will take a couple hours for them to come back and another couple hours for them to reign in the power. The Kagome in this era sent me to take care of you. You can’t tell anyone who I am, especially my past self.”“Keh, Kagome has explained the time thing.” Inu Yasha leaned back around the building and gave a handful of gruff orders. Shisuki led the younger version of his family into the city and towards the movie theater.
Kagome clung to Sesshomaru breathing deeply, unclenching her legs Kagome dropped them to Sesshomaru side. “Mate, I believe we have an audience.” Sesshomaru sat up and pulled his mate into his lap.You have joined together as one. Many things have been set in motion. You have raised power that many would say rivals that of our power. Thus you will be training with new strengths that neither of you will have imagined. Lady Miko Kagome, when you are trained you will become the Goddess of Balance and Truth. Lord Sesshomaru, when you have been trained you will become God of War and Wisdom.
