Chapter 13~Hojo's New Girlfriend!

~~~As Hojo's new girlfriend sat at the table glaring daggers at Kagome, her companion looked over and saw what she was looking at, then sighed. He knew what she was thinking and he seriously had to put a stop to what ever her devious mind was conjuring up.

"Leave her be..It would do no good to rile Hojo up." he told his companion. She turned to him and glared.

"Why should he be riled? I AM his girlfriend now and soon to be fiancee..there is no reason for him to care what I may or may not do to her." she replied, although she already knew she was lying. She knew all about Hojo's obsession with Kagome, but she couldnt stomache it, she could stand thinking that he would want Kagome above her. After all she was from a pretty weatlhy family now and she was beautifull and knew how to behave in higher social standings.

"You and I know how much he still has a thing for Kagome..The only reason he is even dating you is because its his fathers wish." came the emotionless voice of her companion. He didnt lie but the truth still struck a nerve in her and she scowled.

"That will change soon enough..when I am finished with him he will never remember the name Kagome let alone any other girl who had come before me." she replied with a superior smirk. Her Companion rolled his eyes.

"Your good Kikyo but not that good..you cant make someone stop wanting something they truelly want more than anything in the world." replied her brother Naraku. Kikyo scowled.

"I am better than her!...I am respectable!...I am prettier!...I am his equal!..Kagome is just bottom feeding scum!" Kikyo hissed angerly. Naraku sighed tiredly.

"You seem to forget dear sister that our own father was but a low working man till he died and if it wasnt for mother marrying our step father, we would not have had any of the perks enjoyed by the higher class..we were once like Kagome..we once came from simular backrounds." Naraku replied. Kikyo looked pissed.

"You sound like you are on her side dear brother...have you forgotten the things we have both done to achieve the status we enjoy now?" Kikyo asked with an evil grin. Naraku smiled sadly.

"Not really dear sister..I recall all to well..but...she was never MY friend Kikyo...I never betrayed her like you did..and now?...now she has something you want..and you cant stand it." Naraku replied coldly.

"If I recall dear brother you helped me to betray her..you wanted her as much as our cousin Kouga..but you backed out at the last minute." she smirked.

"Yes I did...for some reason I had a momentary bout of conscience..soo I did not take her as was planned but let Kouga have her all to himself...but regardless of all that..her and our lives are intertwined once more and it is not to our benifit."

"How so? I have his fathers blessing and Hojo is attracted to me and will marry me because its what his father wants." Kikyo replied.

"Yes..what his father WANTS..not what he wants..he wants Kagome..not you sister dear and if you forget..if he has his way he will take over the company soon and then he will not need worry about what his father wants and you may very well see yourself booted out the perverbial door."

"Thats why he will never get what he wants." Kikyo smiled. She knew all about Hojo's plan to gain control of the company and knew that he was close but that after her cousin had been busted, he had no idea of how to finish his plot. If she had any say in it, he would never accomplish it. Yes she would help him, ONCE he was married to her, but before that she would make sure he had no choice but to marry her. AFter all she didnt come this close to marrying someone as wealthy as Hojo to just give him up soo easily. Especially not to her old rival Kagome.

~~~Yes, kagome was her rival so to speak. She was older then Kagome. but all threw her life she had felt second. Kagome had been pure and innocent, yet wild and fun. it had made girls want to be her friends and guys want to be her first and only. Kagome had been so totally clueless to all this. She was such a tomboy most of her life that she had thought the boys had been friends and only that. She never had a clue that they wanted so much more. But as most of her friends they truelly did care for her and would never hurt her and settled for friendship if nothing else. Only Kouga had wanted to take it further by will or force. Force had been the climax of that, with a little coaxing and help from her. Her brother too had wanted Kagome but for some reason he had backed down at the last minute. But Kikyo had been satisfied. Kagome had been taken. She had been tainted and ruined. No one would want her now. Or so she had thought. Who would ever think she would come back to haunt her now? Yes when it came to Kagome, Kikyo was a bit bitter. Kikyo was more beautifull, more refined, yet all her life she had been second best to Kagome. Kagome had been the nice pretty cute one that everyone liked. Kikyo had been the easy wild and older one. Yes she had used her body to get what she wanted unlike Kagome, but she couldnt be faulted for that now could she?

"What are you thinking?" came Naraku's voice.

"Only of the past dear brother." Kikyo smiled. Naraku arched an eyebrow.

"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" he asked.

"What do you care brother?"

"Because its my Job your messing with Sister dear and I swear if you mess it up for me I will ring your neck..family or no family I did not come this far to have you ruin it for me..you may be my sister but if it means my job I will help Hojo get Kagome and toss you aside." he replied coldly and Kikyo knew he meant the truth, which only made her angrier. Kagome now had her brother against her. If Kikyo had her way she would make Kagome pay and pay good.

A/N~Okies next chap sorry its late and short but sigh..again more sickness...chit..hate it...want it gone..and sorry Kyoto gf not Kagura..lol...I had to bring the Kikyo witch in ya know cause in my fic Kagome gets justice for all her past ails..lol..anyway let me know what yall think k??? talk to you soon..huggles and smiles Mija..:-)
