Chapter 2
Tears of Sorrow

Inuyasha once again was the first to wake up. He woke up the others. “Come on you guys! Let's get going!”
“Inuyasha please,” Kagome said. “Give us a few minutes.”
“Fine,” he said sitting down crossing his arms.
After everyone was ready they continued their search for the jewel shards. Once again Kagome felt that pain, but knowing that no one else felt it, she simply ignored it.
When they stopped for lunch, Sango went to find so berries for Kerara.
“Kagome, do you have that stuff?” Inuyasha asked.
“How could I forget?” Kagome said as she started to boil so water. Inuyasha waited close by.
“Is it done yet?” he asked.
“Yup, here you go,” she said handing him the bowl. Mean while, Miroku and Shippo were eating rice balls Kagome's mother had made for them.
“Kagome why aren't you eating?” Shippo asked.
“I'm not hungry,” she simply replied. Inuyasha's left ear twitched, he knew better.
“Are you feeling ok?” Inuyasha asked.
Kagome, taken off guard, shook her head `no'. “No, I am fine.” Inuyasha went over to her forehead.
“You don't feel like you have a fever,” he said looked at her suspiciously. Kagome let out a sigh, but Inuyasha sat down next to her.
“How will we find Naraku?” asked Sango, who had just came back. “It seems like he has just vanished.”
“We will find him sooner or later,” Miroku replied.
“You perverted monk!” Sango yelled following a loud `smack'. “I can't believe you!” she yelled blushing.
Miroku was on the ground with a red hand mark on his face. Kagome shook her head in disappointment.
“Well, let's get going,” Inuyasha said standing up. Kagome picked everything up.
They all started to walk away, leaving Miroku on the ground.
“Hey! Wait for me!” he yelled running after them. They all laughed and kept on walking. Suddenly, Kagome felt the pain again but this time it was worse. She fell to her knees screaming in pain.
“Kagome?” Inuyasha asked. But, she screamed in pain again. Inuyasha pulled her into his arms.
“Inuyasha,” she cried.
“I am right here, don't worry. I am taking you to Kaede's hut,” at that he was off. “Kaede!” he yelled at the hut. Kaede walked out.
“What is it child?” she asked, she then Kagome in his arms. “What is wrong with Kagome?”
Inuyasha's eyes flashed. “We don't know,” he whispered.
“Hurry, place her in my hut. We will find out what is wrong with her,” she replied. He placed Kagome gentle down and he took her hand and held it. She, again, screamed in pain and called for Inuyasha. Kaede went over to her.
“She has been poisoned by a daemon. Have you been in any fights lately?” she asked.
“No, no one,” he said. He then thought about it. “Oh no! Naraku, damn him!” yelled Inuyasha.
Kaede quickly worked. She sent Inuyasha to get a bucket of water. He quickly came back to be back at Kagome's side. “Is she going to be alright?” he asked hopefully.
The old priestess sighed, “I am not sure.”
Inuyasha's eyes watered and a tear fell from his face and onto Kagome's hand.
An hour later, Kagome finally fell asleep, but she moaned in pain and had a high fever. Inuyasha watched her helplessly.
“She'll be better in the morning,” Kaede said to Inuyasha. “Her fever is going down.”

The next morning Kagome woke up, she still didn't feel well, but a little better. She noticed Inuyasha sleeping next to her. He woke up.
“K-Kagome!” he exclaimed. He pulled her into his arms. “I was so worried about you. I thought I had lost you,” tears filled his eyes. “Kagome…I,” he took a deep breath, “I love you,” he said.
Kagome smiled weakly, “I have always loved you,” she replied. Inuyasha kissed her. She kissed him back but more passionately. She pulled away and laid in his arms. He felt her feverish body. “You should get some sleep. You still have a fever,” but when he looked down at her she was already sleeping. He kissed her forehead. Kaede walked in towards him.
“She will be fine,” she said.
“Yeah, but,” he laid her gently back down. “I need to take care of something.” He looked down at Kagome. “I'll be back soon,” he said to Kaede and left.

Sango and Miroku

“I sure hope Kagome is alright,” Sango said.
“Don't worry. Even though he doesn't it, Inuyasha really cares about her. Loves her even. She'll be fine.” Miroku replied. He moved closer to Sango. “Sango,” he said. His blue eyes glittered.
“M-Miroku?” Sango asked.
“I…l.” he was about to say something but at that moment Inuyasha jumped next to them.
“It was Naraku!” he exclaimed.
“What?” they both asked at the same time.
“How is that possible?” Sango asked.
“He must have done it when we were all distracted so not to notice,” Miroku said.
“Well, I have to take of something,” and Inuyasha was off again.
Miroku turned to Sango, but this time he pulled her into a kiss. Sango turned red but she liked the feeling and kissed him back. Miroku let go first. “I love you,” he said.
Sango smiled and kissed him, “I love you too,” she replied.
A very happy Miroku took her hands and asked, “Would you bear my children?”
“I'd love to!” (If anyone was wondering Kerara and Shippo left to go to Kaede's hut.)
Miroku brought Sango into his arms. He started to kiss her, then slowly moved down to her neck and then even lower. She giggled happily. His hands were working on taking her cloths off. At the same time she was taking off his robes. He moved her to the ground, (ehh everyone should know what happens next ..^_^..)

Inuyasha

Inuyasha, not far away from Miroku and Sango, heard moans form them. He blushed and moved even faster away so not to hear anymore.
`Seems like he told her,” he thought to himself. He then thought of Kagome and moved faster yet. At the time, he didn't know that she wasn't getting better but getting worse by every passing minute.
A gust of wind came and a big white feather came down in front of him.
Kagura smiled, “”At this very moment your Kagome is getting worse.”
“You wench!” he yelled. He pulled out his beloved sword, Tetsusaiga. “What did you do to her?”
Kagura noticed he had gotten stronger since the last time the battled and he could easily kill her. “Why should I tell you? She'll be dead in two hours.”
“Tell me!” he yelled as he tightens his grip on this sword. But, Kagura just laughed. “Wind Scar!” he yelled. But, she dodged it.
“Dance of the Dragons!” she yelled. Inuyasha was waiting for this. He was going to use her attack against her.
He stood ready, “Back Lash Wave!”
“What?!” she yelled when she saw what was happening. She flew across the ground. She stopped almost dead. Inuyasha came over to her.
“Tell me!” he yelled.
She gasped for air. “It..is…dragon poison,” and she died. Inuyasha quickly left to get back to Kaede's hut. He moved quickly, also making sure to go nowhere near where Miroku and Sango were.
He ran into the hut. “Kaede! It is dragon poison!” Kaede shook her head and acted quickly. `Kagura was right. She is much worse. I might lose her!' he thought to himself. He sat down next to her. “Kagome,” he whispered.
Kaede walked over to her and forced her to drink so liquid. Kagome awoke and sat up soon after. She looked around at first not noticing Inuyasha. But when she saw him she started to cry. She fell into his arms. “Kagome, I am so sorry, This is all because of me,” he said sadly.
“Don't worry. I know that if I am in trouble, you will always be there to save me.”
“Kagome,” he whispered. “I thought I had lost you!”
“But, you didn't. I am right here,” she said. “But, how did you heal me?” she looked into his sorrow filled eyes.
“I killed Kagura. She told me what they did right before she died.”
“You did that for me?”
He looked hurt. “Yes, of course!”
“I love you,” she said. Then pulled him into a kiss. His mind went to Miroku and Sango, he pulled from the kiss.
