AN: Hey, thank you sooooo much for all your reviews! And I have also picked up on that most people want Yumiko dead huh~? Well tell you guys what>>>>>I can't remove her from the picture because she will play quiet a part in this story so~~ ^^ sorry about that and those who really don't agree with this ...Also, I really think that my grammar sucked soo much in the last few chapters.

Chapter 9 - The Meeting of Wives

A cold, fresh morning of an early spring day, out in the balcony the lady stares in to the distance. A month as gone past, Sesshoumaru had left home to visit their ally but news has spread that their was a battle just outside and the inside the Fortress and Yumoko was worried.

"Please son, come back unharmed..." She whispered soo quietly that she even barely heard herself.

"My lady! My lady!" Luna came rushing into the room she was in.

"What is it Luna? And please, quiet down a bit." Yumoko tuned to the door when Luna was catching her breath, she must have ran with all her speed to get here.

"Ses..shou..maru-..sama is ba..ck..." Luna puffed out. Yumoko's face immediately brightens up from the unemotional face before.

"Really?!" Yumoko asked, very happy at the news.

"He sent.. a messenger ahead to.. tell us that.. he should be back.. at about lunch time today and that Lady Kagome and Inutaishou-sama is with him."

Yumoko's couldn't believe her ears! Her husband and daughter in law was found and are going to be back by lunch hour today! Oh it was definitely wonderful news. After three years of separation, finally there was the reunion.

"Oh~ Arigatou kami-sama!" Yumoko said looking up at the sky thankfully. "I shall look forward to the lunch hour! And thank you for bringing me the message Luna."

"You're welcome my lady."

"I can see home!" Kagome gasped at the sight of the castle in the not too far distance and her grip on Sesshoumaru tightens, making it harder for him to breath.

"Kagome, do you might loosing you grip a bit please?" Sesshoumaru said, his left eyebrow slightly raised as he tried to breath in air.

"Oh, gomenasi Sesshoumaru," Kagome rested her head on his back. Sitting behind him on the horse was definitely a down idea but then he did like her the way she is now, more gentle and lady like.

"I think I better them okaasan to train to become more lady like, just look at the way get too active before." Sesshoumaru joked receiving a immediate ~.- stare from Kagome (AN: if anyone thinks of what that term is for -.~ please tell me, coz I forgot? :P) "And look at you just before now, some much more lady like and gentle." He quickly added.

"Fine," Kagome lingered on the word like a child going fi-ne. "I'll be more lady like then, but I'm telling you, you won't see me laugh so often and I'm sure you don't like that." Kagome told him.

"No, no, I'm just joking," Sesshoumaru jumped so fast behind Kagome that it was only a blink of an eye. "I like you just the way you are, so unique." He said as she cuddled her.

"Ooo...so sweet.." Kagome commented.

"Well, well, it's even more sweet from over here, just look at you two!" Sango laughed.

"I second that! I must say, I've never seen Sesshoumaru act this way before." Inutaishou added. Sesshoumaru had notice the change in his father; he had become friendly (which was something that the youkai did not show to anyone but his family <AN: that excluded the `before' Kagome. >.) and kind to everyone no matter what race or kind they were, something during the time he spent with Kagome must have done it.

"Well, that's what you all wanted wasn't it? For me to be crazily happy?" Kagome played on.

"Well…" the family and the friend burst out laughing.

"Welcome home Sesshoumaru-sama." The gatekeepers blow to him. Sesshoumaru and the rest of the group went in. Just as they got into the inner

court of the outer gardens of the fortress, they were welcome by a scream of delight.

"SESSHOUMARU! INUTAISHOU! KAGOME!!!"

In a blink of an eye, Yumoko was in front of Inutaishou with a tight hug.

"I missed you soo much." And a then a long missed kiss from the elder couple.

"You're back safe and bought back all the family! I'm so proud of you dear." She turned to face her son and then finally to Kagome. "Kagome, it's been so long, we've missed you so much." Giving each other a hug and light kisses on the cheeks.

"Us too." Kagome said referring `us' to Inutaishou.

"Let's go inside, you all must be tired from your travel." Yumoko said and she went to linked arms with her long lost husband.

It has been a long time since she had seen this place, the strong smell of sakura and the unique trees that only grows in this part of . The detailed designs of the kopi fish at each peak of the gray rooftops, the white walls with black dyed wooden frames. It was good to be home.

"Kagome, before we go anyway further, if you want some rest from your travel, you can." Yumoko suggested.

"It's okay, I think I'll be fine." Kagome said but was surprised when two children came rushing towards Sesshoumaru.

"Otousan!!" They ran and Sesshoumaru picked them up. "We missed you!"

Kagome smiled. `They're his children...' Kagome thought.

"Sesshoumaru..."

Kagome and Sesshoumaru turned around to see a pregnant lady.

"Yumiko, I would like you to meet Kagome." Sesshoumaru took Kagome's hand and lead her to Yumiko. Kagome bowed her head down slightly. Yumiko bowed down to return the courtesy.

"So we finally meet," Yumiko smiled. "I was looking forward to this day. Sesshoumaru always talk about you."

Kagome blushed ever so slightly barely visible.

`This woman, Sesshoumaru's first wife, has Sesshoumaru scent all over her yet there's a faint scent of another man still lingering on her. I wonder why...'

"Anyway, I think I'll introduce our children to you, ne?" Yumiko asked Kagome. "And I it isn't too much to ask, will you, well, can you help me to look after the children?"

"Sure! I love children; and I'm sure you'll need someone to help you nurse your health back after you give birth to you third child." Kagome smiled agreeing to help her.

"Thank you so much," Yumiko said giving a smile, but inside her, she had a little flame of jealousy that Sesshoumaru, a youkai, would even love such a human. "You assistance will be much appreciated."

"It's okay, you don't have to be that formal to me, I don't really mind." Kagome added, noticing how formal her words were.

"Anyway, this is Kyoko, and this is Satu " Yumiko introduced her children to Kagome. "Say hello now, she is your second mother after all."

"Konichiwa gozaimasu Kagome-san." The two little girls bowed to their elder.

"Konichiwa little ones, you both have very pretty names and they suit you both very well. You look just like you mother and you're just as sweet as a sugar." Kagome said to them and they giggled at her comment.

(AN: Kyoko=Mirror and Satu=sugar so that what I meant when I wrote that...^^)

"Sesshoumaru-sama, lunch is ready." A servant came to tell him.

"I think we should go to lunch now then, I don't think we want a hungry pregnant mother here do we?" Kagome winked at Sesshoumaru.

Kagome played with the children after lunch for a while. The children took a immediate liking towards Kagome, they like the way she likes to play with them and treats them like grown ups.

"We're not little kids! We're almost just as good as a human adult!" They used to protest against their parents. When their afternoon naptime came they moaned about having to be like little kids again until Kagome said that she'll sleep as well so that they all will sleep.

"Can she sleep with us okaasan?" Satu asked Yumiko.

"You won't sleep properly." Yumiko said coldly, knowing too well that her children would only play and giggle.

"No we promise we will, ple-ease?" They asked with puppy eyes looking at their mother.

"Just let them." Sesshoumaru gave the permission. "But only this once."

"Yay!! You're the best otousan!" Satu shouted with joy as she ran to Kagome and rap her arms around Kagome's leg.

"We're not saying that you're bad okaasan, you're cool but otousan is awesome!" Kyoko added before she ran away when she saw her mother's reaction. (An: That is pretend to be angry...)

The day pasted on with Kagome teaching the children how to hold a brush in the garden.

"Now you hold it like this, look..." She showed the children holding her own brush with her index finger at near the top, the other four fingers a bit lower and the thumb right across the middle finger on the opposite side. "See, I doesn't move and I can control how it moves by moving my pinky and thumb." She demonstrated to them.

The two little girls watched with most interest as their second mother taught them how to hold the `stick' with a bit of hair, feathery thing at the rear end. They tried to hold it the way Kagome had taught them and surprisingly, they achieved it.

"Okaasan! Otousan! Look! I can hold a stick!" Kyoko shouted into the fortress followed by Satu.

"Shh! Your mother's still asleep." Sesshoumaru told them.

At the side bench, Kagome watched as her husband picked up her stepchildren, wondering how he would to the children she would give birth to their own children.

Sesshoumaru glazed over to Kagome to see her watching him dreamily with a smile on her face yet her attention was elsewhere.

`I wonder what she is thinking...'

"OTOUSAN!! Look!" Satu shouted when her father didn't pay attention to her.

"You keep your voice down, young lady. Or I'll become death." Sesshoumaru told her as he patted her head. "Let's go over to sit with Kagome-san."

"Hey you two,"

"Okaasan! Look! Kagome-san taught us how to how a stick-brush I mean." Kyoko told her mother as the both of them rush to her and held the brush in her face.

"Wonderful dears, but it is time for your baths now, come on, lets get along." Yumiko led her children down the hallway to the bathhouse.

Sesshoumaru took this opportunity to talk to Kagome privately. He walked towards her and when she turned around she smiled.

"Konichiwa Sesshoumaru,"

"How are you doing?" Sesshoumaru sat down beside her.

"Fairing quite well. You? How come you're here?" Kagome asked.

"Well don't you want to see me?" He asked playfully.

"I just thought that you might be busy that's all." Kagome replied. Sesshoumaru crossed his arms around Kagome's waist, drawing her close to him as he began to nuzzle against her neck.

"You smell so incredibly good, did you know that?" he whispered against her ear. Kagome was blushing slightly from his actions.

"Err...Sesshoumaru..." Kagome stuttered.

"What were you thinking?" He leaned even closer.

"Thinking...what?"

"What you were thinking just before I came over here, the thought that gave you a dreamy look on your face just then with a faint smile." Sesshoumaru told her.

"Oh that...um..." Kagome blushed a even further. Sesshoumaru can smell her slight arousal and knew it but he wanted her to say it out loud. "I...well..."

"Yes?" He encouraged her on.

"I was just wondering how it would be like if we had children of our own." Kagome said in a rush. Sesshoumaru turned her around, but when Kagome tried to hide her face in his chest, he lifted her head up.

"Don't be embarrassed or shy of it." He kissed her gently on the forehead.

"Sesshoumaru," Kagome hugged him as she rested on his chest.

"You know, I think we can have a experiment on my reaction to our children starting tonight you know." Sesshoumaru said playfully, hiding a smirking smile.

"Now hold it just a sec mister, you're suppose to be busy and work late into the night and when you come into the bedroom, you'll find a lady asleep peacefully. Don't you know it's rude to wake someone up when they're sleeping?" Kagome asked him back in the same tone.

"Yes, yes I know, I wouldn't want to wake a princess from her deep sleep would I? But I'm might not know whether she is under a spell or not so I'll give her a kiss just to break the spell and I'm sure by then that she would be wide awake in no time." Sesshoumaru played along with her. Kagome laughed at his reply.

`Yep, life was turning the corner back to normal, perfect.'

(AN: oh~ That was Kagome by the way...)

Yumiko was in her room when she heard the ring of laugh reach her ears.

"That human with stinking scent, how can Sesshoumaru bear her at all?!" she mumbled to herself. The jealousy ran deep in her veins. She couldn't bear it any longer that the Sesshoumaru was paying so much attention towards the human, no, she must get his attention; she was ruining everything! Upon getting the servants organized to see to her children's bath, she walk away where no one would know, and disappeared into a dark shadow to think where there was silence.

AN: Hey there guys! Woohoo! Another chapter done!!! How do you think about this one aye? Anyways, I have some questions answer and things I thought I need to tell some of you reviews and just before I do that here is the next chapter's title/spoiler (etc..)

Chapter 10 - The Hierarchy of the Guardians

Okay, this chapter really not about Kagome at all (actually, one little bit at the end), but someone very close to her that she doesn't know. And because it is like that, I decided to update it later along with chapter 11! Which is...

Chapter 11 - Life Back in Western Lands.

Basically it's about Kagome's life back in the Western Lands etc... but you'll never know what I would do to the story ;)

Also, another thing I thought you might want to know is that um, maybe about from chapter 12 or 13, the plots going to get extreme sad, so just a forewarning folks!

Hey~ that's the why the story goes...(gomen nasai for those who don't like this answer but hey, I'm the author here! And you never know about what twist and turns I'll make in it, mind you, I've plan half the story and I'm not even up to writing half of this story yet!) But later on, Sesshoumaru WILL only have one wife~~ ^^
