AN: Sorry guys, it took me forever to update this chapter (Sumimasen!), but Dad DELECTED ALL my stuff, my work from school, so I had to spend time RETYPING the SIXTEEN pages of external assessment work (external assessment are really, really important to the NZ NCEA system -.-;;) including this chapter that I wrote previously (Argg!! Damn him!) I mean like, I almost finished this chapter about two weeks ago then I had to re-write the whole chapter!! Grr!!
Anyway, I'm going to try to change me style in writing this story by like a bit (lets say unnoticeable?). It's like, you know those narrators in movies? Well, something similar okay?
So, here is the next chapter and sorry it took me soo long to update >.<
Oh...when I do this it means it's my thoughts or I want to tell you something okay? And when I do -- it means change scene/time. (And sometimes I might type more than - or because I'm typing kind fast...:P)
Chapter 12 - The Beginning of a Shadow
Three months flashed by like three blinks of an eye. And here's Yumiko, already in labour of the last stage. Kagome tried to help as much as she can, but something seemed to make her want to stay away, a strange feeling of an invisible being present, something dark, evil and cold, it seemed.
Kagome stood just beyond where Sesshoumaru is; who was next to Yumiko, holding her hand as Yumiko gave birth. As Kagome watched, she thought of herself in this situation. How she would love to give birth to Sesshoumaru's child, and she wondered whether Sesshoumaru would be by her side like he is to Yumiko now.
“My lord! We can see the head!”
“You heard that Yumiko, just a few more pushes and our child will be born!” Sesshoumaru said excitedly to Yumiko.
Soo unlike Sesshoumaru, ne?
It wasn't long till the whole body of the child was out, but at that moment, the doctor had immediately became silent.
“What's wrong with my baby?” Yumiko asked, tired.
“It's...”
Sesshoumaru took one sniff and new it. It was the scent of death, and in the next second, Yumiko began to weep.
“No...No!!” Yumiko realised, as she too smelt the scent. Sesshoumaru went to comfort her.
“Shh...don't cry...”
Kagome just stood and watched. `What just happened?' She thought, these things just happened too quickly. `What was that before?'. Seeing that it is the best to leave the couple alone, Kagome and the rest of the servants left, leaving the doctor to help them.

It wasn't till later in the night before Kagome saw Sesshoumaru again. She was about to go to sleep when he came into the bedroom quietly.
“Sesshoumaru?”
No answer...
“Sesshoumaru?”
Still no answer...
“Sesshoumaru? Are you okay? How's Yumiko fairing?” Kagome asked, this silence business was really getting her worried. “Please, answer me.”
“She's asleep.”
“Why are you not with her? She will want you to comfort her you know.”
“Of course I know, but...” Sesshoumaru paused as he recollected what Yumiko had said.
“But?”
“She wants me to be with you,”
“You silly, she is just saying that -“
“She said, she doesn't want to disappoint me anymore with no son and with a dead child...” He whispered. Kagome stood up and walked to where he was standing. “It seems like I hurt her more if I'm with her.”
Are you guys spewing up yet? I'm about to! It's soo eeluk to see Sesshoumaru so caring for someone other than Kagome -.-`'' But still I have to write this because it'sallpartofthestory...yeah I know you know -.-!! So continue reading...!
“Don't blame yourself okay? You didn't want that to happen did you? You didn't know that was going to happen right?” Kagome looked at him in the eyes as she held his face to make him look at her. “It's just like you being so upset about what had happened to me before but I'm happy with everything now, and you don't hurt me because you couldn't find me earlier. It the same here, just pay more attention to her okay? Do what you did with me.” Kagome tried to comfort him the best she could.
Sesshoumaru could only smile at his first wife, the way she tries to comfort him, it seems strange to bring up something that was one's worst fear and sadness to comfort others though it was working quite a bit.
“Arigatou Kagome,” Sesshoumaru leaned forward as he warped his arms around her petite figure. Her unique scent of the sweet fruits and flowers always calm him.
“Doutashi Mashite.” Kagome replied as she smiled with her face against his.
When they finally broke away the face of worry crept back a little into Sesshoumaru's expression.
“But I'm still worried.”
“What is it this time?” Kagome asked and all of a sudden a big smile appeared.
“I still have no heir to the lands.” Sesshoumaru watch Kagome who closed her eyes briefly then opened again with a weird smile. “So I was wondering whether you would do me the honours of giving me a son?” He asked, this time he walked slowly closer to Kagome.
“What happens if it's a girl?” Kagome asked playfully.
“I don't mind. I'll love her just as much as her mother.”
“But it'll be a hanyou and the youkai society will reject him and so will the humans...” Kagome said sadly as the thought came to her.
“I don't care what breed they are as long as they're my pup. Boy or girl, I don't care.” Sesshoumaru told her, very seriously.
“Sesshoumaru...” Kagome looped her arms around his neck as she stood on her tip toes to kiss him.
`When did she become like this, so open about this?' Sesshoumaru as he felt his desire grow and swept her off her feet into his arms, laughed lightly when Kagome squealed in surprise and kissed her again this time, long and softly as he carried her over to their futon.
Don't you think that Sesshoumaru's strange? I mean, how can he get over it so fast?! It's suppose to be heart breaking for a parent -.-a! And just the above part of this chapter, it

Time flew by as days turned into weeks, weeks into months, and months turned into half a year, Yumiko has become normal again with the whole family's support, even her two daughters.
On this evening, Kagome was sleeping by herself when another dream turn nightmare visited her...
>> Kagome's Dream <<
S he sees herself in a forest full of flowers. She runs to the flower fields to pick the flowers. When she finally had a bouquet of wild flowers, she turned back towards where the buildings of sparkly material and which she recognized as her home yet all of the sudden, the grass around her dies, the flowers in her hand crimples to brown ashes. A figure of a stranger came towards her. She tried to move yet she felt her limbs froze. Fear trickled into her.
“Die...die...die!” the person raised their hands as he shouted the last word which only brought Kagome more fear, scared of that it was a death spell yet she felt nothing but her limbs being freed as the figure retreated.
“Huh? What that all about?” Kagome questioned herself, but I wasn't long before she felt an immense pain from her lower abdomen. “Ahh!” And she fell on to her knees.
Hey, I wrote the dream like that on purpose! It's no mistake!! Basically it's just like a dream when sudden a nightmare come to attack her...yeah, something like that...

Kagome coughed as she awoke from her weirdest dream yet and opened her eyes. Only when she swallowed that she realized she had blood in her mouth.
`Huh?! What the?!' Taking a look to here her head laid, she saw a puddle of blood on her pillow.
“Kagome-sama, is everything okay?” Luna asked as she came into the room.
“I'm not sure...” Kagome said quietly, still a little shocked. “And it's Kagome remember,”
Luna nodded and looked down to see blood on her pillow.
“Kagome, what happened?!”
“I...” Kagome stuttered.
“Should we hide this from Sesshoumaru-sama, you know he has had a lot on his mind lately..” Luna suggested.
“Mmm, maybe we should.” Kagome agreed, Sesshoumaru does have a lot of work to do at the moment, and with the Yumiko's worry wave just over, maybe it is the best not to tell him yet. “Luna, do you mind going with me to the doctor tomorrow?” Kagome asked.
“Sure, I'll get you a new pillowcase and wash this one for you.”
“Thanks,”
Luna walked out to the corridor and Kagome tried sleep again, yet she felt somewhat emptier than before. Little did she know, Luna had been outside her room all along...
AN: HAHA! Another chappie done! It's a short chapter this one and I apologize for that because if my freakin' dad didn't DELETE that D drive of mine then I think this chapter would be at least 2000 words long (It's 1317 words long at the moment) anyhow, there only three things that really happened in this chapter and after I've re-read it myself, I think this chapter is pretty lame, nothing much happened and every thing is so brief, :6. But having to re-write a chapter just took my mood of writing this chapter away haiiii....But I'll try to write better next time (don't I always say that at the end of the chapter?) Anyways, time for reviews!! But while you wait for the page to load (if you got a slow connection like I do) then read on!

Oh by the way, to those people who think what kind of a author I am, I am NOT a NC 17 one! >.< Even though some of parts of the stories is during such a situation I don't write what they do but their thoughts of love towards each other.. (ohhh, how sweet.. -.-?) okay..?!!
