Chapter 8: Found Out

Kagome sat comfortable next to Sango. The day was hot and the sun shone brightly upon them in the park as they rested in the grass. It was a perfect Saturday afternoon. Children laughed happily as they played with their parents and enjoyed the day. Kagome squealed in happiness.

"Sesshou is sooo great! He is planning a surprise for me after this mission!"

Sango chuckles and smiled at her energetic cousin, whom she had come to as a sister. She had never seen her so happy. It was more than a great thing. Kagome noticed that she was babbling and the amused smile that framed Sango's face.

"Oops sorry. How are you and Miroku doing?"

Kagome almost burst out laughing at the dreamy look that overcame Sango's face at the mention of the black hair human assassin.

"Oh we are great! I didn't want to believe that such a pervert could be such a romantic but he is!"

Kagome chuckled, thinking back to when they had gotten to know the Inutaisho group. It had only been a month since Sango had given in and accepted Miroku as her boyfriend. Sango got up and brushed the grass and specks of dirt from her blue jean shorts.

"Oh remembering the mission we need to go now and get our info and equipment."

Sighing Kagome picked herself up as well and brushed off as well.

"Let's go then."

They walked from the park with a grace that most who saw them had never knew could be possessed.

A dark figure stood off to the side as the beauties left. His pitch black eyes followed their every step. The figure chuckled an almost lustful, needy sound to it. Smirking he spoke to the wind.

"You two have been gone for too long. I will have you back Kagome or both you and your cousin will die."

Without another thought or the chance for anyone to notice him the figure disappeared from where he was back to where ever he came from.

Kagome and Sango arrived home in no time. They walked into their rooms without a word and dressed. Kagome walked out of her room in black leather form fitting hip hugger pants and a matching top with a leather trench coat on that went to her knees and high heeled boots. Sango came out of her room at the same time, she was dressed in loose black (A/N: But nice fitting!) black pants and a form fitting black tank top she wore a black jean jacket over it and had on black high heeled boots with a matching chocker on her neck. Sango smirked.

"Ready to meet with the boss and go kill someone?"

Kagome chuckled with a mischievous glimmer in her eye.

"Aren't I always?"

They both turned and made their way to study where they knew Nyoko would be waiting to brief them on what they would be doing.
