Chapter 9: Set Up

Their job was some guy named Jonas Ronald. He worked at a club in Upstate New York and stirring up a lot of trouble all over the world for racers and mafia. They took the stealth jet to travel over to the US. Kagome could already feel the adrenaline rush.

"I can't wait! This is gonna be fun!"

Sango chuckled at how childish Kagome could be at times. It was about 9 o'clock at night and the Pacific Ocean looked black and dangerous at this time. Sango thought will a slight thrill.

`I love it!'

The trip was short and spent most of the time going over their positions and how they were gonna kill the guy off without much commotion, there could be no club shot outs, being seen, or worst of all being caught. When the club came into view, Kagome tapped JB on the shoulder.

"Drops us there. Kay?"

JB nodded his head and continued to steer the jet. Sango chuckled as she noticed no one would even think about the jet because it was specially designed to blend with the sky and was virtually soundless. She should know. It was her idea. When JB got just above the club the two assassins jumped from the jet landing gracefully onto the roof and without another thought they jumped from roof to roof until they were a block away from the club then jumped to the side walk. Nodding to each other Kagome and Sango walked to the club and stepped in. The music was loud and nice; Kagome walked to the bartender and smirked.

"Hiya! I am here to talk about the bartender job."

The bartender gave her a once over then smiled. He was good looking with short dark green hair and a killer body. He wore black jeans and a red wife beater.

"Okay sweet cheeks. Then talk."

Kagome added a seductive purr to her words.

"I am Natasha Po. I called for the job a week ago and you told me to come in today. What do you say? Can I have the job, please?"

Kagome gave a cute pout and puppy dog eyes and she begged for the job.

The bartender chuckled and nodded.

"Alright, alright. I am the manager and usually I don't like to hire people on the spot but what can a guy do? You get the job. The names Jace."

Kagome smiled broadly and threw her arms around his neck. Jace was in shock at her actions, she must really have needed the job.

"Thank you Jace! I won't let you down!"

While Jace was disoriented she slipped a wire on him carefully.

"Uh…yea, good."

He really liked the way she felt against him, and suddenly she let go.

"I have to get to work then!"

Kagome added to cover up her abrupt release of him as she sauntered away she cursed in disgust at her boss. Meanwhile Sango was dancing with some guys and keeping her eyes on Jonas. He was at the bar nearest to her, she told the guy she was dancing with she needed a drink and walked smoothly over to the bar. She could tell large portions of the males in the club were watching her hips. Sango almost snorted in disgust.

`Pigs'

Kagome taking orders saw Sango make her move to the bar near Jonas out of the corner of her eye. Jonas and Sango were flirting a bit as planned, but the didn't expect what came next.

Kagome was grabbed from behind and pulled firmly to a hard body. She struggled wildly. Sango sensing Kagome was in danger snapped her head from where Jonas to where she felt Kagome. What she saw made her blood run cold. A broke word of disbelieve escaped her lips.

"No!"
