A/N: Sorry this chapter took so long. I don't own Inuyasha or House.
"Foreman, get an MRI, Cameron, CT scan her brain, and Chase, check her brain wave and vital organ moniters. Make sure the machines are put on right. Either they aren't or this girl's brain isn't put together right." House turned and opened the door to his office then turned back to the three doctors who were still standing behind him. "What are you waiting for, the autopsy? Get goin'" The doctors immediately walked away toward where they needed to be.
In the MRI Room...
Alright, Kagome I need you to lie still while we do this. There's nothing to be afraid of. It's just a very large camera."
'You have no idea.' Kagome thought to herself as the machine started up.
A few minutes later Dr. Cameron walked into the room and sat down on one of the chairs next to Dr. Foreman. "So how's she doing?"
"She's one of the strangest pactients that I hav ever met." Foreman turned to face the other doctor. "It's as if she's not afraid of anything. During all of these tests, not once has she flinched or asked a question or anything. She just does what we ask her to do. There seems to be no fear, no worry or anything."
"Do you think it could be a symptom?"
"No this is something else. It's as if she has already been through something worse. Something scarier than this. Now she's just not scared anymore." Foreman looked at one of the machines, deep in thought.
"I'm feeling kind of cold, is there any way that we could hurry up?" Kagome started to shiver slightly.
Foreman turned around and looked at the thermometor on the door. "It's 78 degrees in there," he said into the microphone.
"A-are you s-sure about that?" Kagome asked as her shivering increased.
"Get her out of there." Foreman said as he pressed the stop button on the MRI machines control panel and entered the room where the MRI machine was. He pulled Kagome out of the machine and pulled a thermometor out of his pocket. "Kagome I'm going to need you to open your mouth." She did as she was told and opened her mouth. He placed the small device inside and waited. When the thermometor started to beep he pulled it out and looked at the small LCD screen. "You have a fever of 106.6. Cameron get Ms. Higurashi back to her room. I'll go tell House." Foreman said as he quickly left the room.
