Um...sry bout not updating in....forever...but I was 2 excited to!!!! my mom is gettin maarrrieeed!!! im soooooooooo excited!! But, just 4 u guys, ill do it...ok, heres the new chappie!!
Chapter 6: Lords
Hiro had shown Kagome to the gardens, and excused himself to go stand guard at his post, which just so happened to be by a hotspring. ‘I’m going to have to go by there later today anyways, I’m glad I got to know him before.’ Kagome thought to herself while she picked flowers with Rin.
“Kagome nee-chan!! Look what I found for you!!” Rin yelled happily, holding up a sakura blossom.
“Why, thank you Rin-chan!” Kagome thanked, smiling at the little girl and hugging her, as she ran off to find some more pretty flowers. As Kagome was watching Rin, she remembered something from a previous conversation with Sesshoumaru.
Flashback
“Heal my wounds. I must leave immediately.” he demanded, starting to pull off the bandages.
“What! Are you crazy! I’ve never had to heal wounds that large!” Kagome cried, looking nervous.
“I must go to battle, and take back what has been stolen from me.”
End Flashback
‘I have been wanting to ask him about that...’ Kagome thought, calling for Rin to come to her. “Rin, I need to talk to Sesshoumaru-sama for a little while, so I need you to go inside and find Jaken so that he may watch you for awhile.” Kagome told her, patting her head.
“Ok Kagome nee-chan!” Rin said, running inside yelling, “Jaken-samaaaaa!!!” Kagome just giggled at that and started heading towards Sesshoumaru’s office. When Kagome arrived, she heard voiced coming from inside.
‘Can they not sense me? Sesshoumaru should have noticed me by now...’ Kagome thought, shocked when she heard an answer to her thoughts.
“We are in a heated discussion, though I can hear your thoughts perfectly.” Kagome heard a male voice tell her, as she decided to wait for someone to let her in.
“Kagome, please enter.” She heard Sesshoumaru tell her, as she walked in slowly. “Kagome, these are the Lords of the other 3 lands.”
“It is very nice to meet you.” Kagome said, bowing. ‘Ohmygosh ohmygosh ohmygosh! I wasn’t expecting this for sure!!’ Kagome thought, just remembering that one of them could read minds, and blushed.
“There is no need to bow young one.” One of the demons said. This demon had long, grayish blue hair in a ponytail down to his mid back. In his eyes he had a bright blue color that was beautiful, but you could they had much wisdom. He had no marks upon his cheeks, but a strange Kanji symbol upon his forehead that was written in an ancient language.
“You were not expecting this? Did you not know that you would be meeting us eventually? Considering your Sesshoumaru’s mate to be, we would have met at one time or another. And may I say Sesshoumaru, you seem to have found a fine mate.” This demon was younger than the others. He had bright green eyes that were playful, and brown hair down to his lower back, no restrained, and messy like Inuyasha’s. And, apparently, he could read minds.
“It is very nice to meet you to, but we must hurry on to business if you do not mind.” The last demon said. He seemed very strict, but you could see the kindness in his eyes. He seemed that this demon was an age inbetween the other two. His eyes were a dark brown, like chocolate, and his hair the color of the sun. And, to Kagome, also looked very busy.
‘He must care very much for his land.’ Kagome thought. “Oh! But, before I go, may I know your names at the very least?” Kagome asked, looking at them pleadingly.
“They are all different kinds of dog demons. The eldest is Haku, he is an Ice Dog Demon.” Sesshoumaru started, “The second eldest is Nakumaru, he is a Fire Dog Demon. And the youngest is Maranu, an Earth Dog Demon.” Sesshoumaru finished, looking at her expectedly.
“Alright, I will remember that! Thank you for your time, I am sorry for interupting!” Kagome bowed and walked out of the room.
“That is one FINE fox!”
