Chapter 7

 

Snowysess: Wow another chapter I'm so exhausted though.

 

Era: That's because me and you stayed up until three in the morning.

 

Snowysess: How many chapters are there now?

 

Era: Two so you should type this back to back.

 

Snowysess: You know I have writers block right? You're story is making me forget my ideas for my story.

 

Era: Tell everyone you aren't going to update until this story is over.

 

Snowysess: The problem is that you don't know when to end your own story.

 

Era: I can't stand your sarcasms.

 

Snowysess: I didn't saw anything sarcastic yet so how in the hell did you come up with that line?

 

Era: Could you just type. Oh yeah Sesshoumaru and Naraku are going to be here later so you might want to hide your bacon.

 

Snowysess: Okay. Just make sure they don't mess up the living room. My mom already cleaned it up twice and I don't need her complaining.

 

Era: Let me type this one.

 

Snowysess: Okay knock yourself out. (Gets up and walks to kitchen.)

 

 

Chapter 7

 

 

Inuyasha didn't know what happened. He was looking for Kagome at first but then he smelt Kikyo close. He wanted to confront her about breaking up the group like that. It was pure evil and nobody deserved what she did. He loved Kikyo too much to think she just did that for pleasure. Narrowing on Kikyo's scent he called out her name.

 

 

“Kikyo!”

 

 

Kikyo came out of the clearing walking slowly towards him. She had a look in her eyes that looked like anger. Her smell was worse than before for some reason. Thinking about it he wondered how he can love something that smelt like dead people and clay. He shook out of his mind and frowned.

“Kikyo, why would you do that to harm my relationship with my friends? I mean you just can't destroy the group like that. Why would you do such a thing?” His eyes had a pleading look. Kikyo dropped her bow and arrows and looked away. She wasn't really sure why she did such a thing. It was evil not like her and now she's thinking about her consequences.

 

 

“I really don't know. It's just you spent more time with the people in that silly group than really paying attention to me.” Kikyo said bluntly.

 

Inuyasha shook his head, “Kikyo throughout the whole time I was with you. I even ignored Kagome which was a rare thing to do. She ran out because of that and now you telling me that I need to spend more time with you.”

 

“Inuyasha you are not getting me at all. I'm asking you a question.” Kikyo narrowed her eyes to get serious. She really didn't know why she was doing any of this. It's like her body and her mind just wants him all to herself. She doesn't want him to have any friends, and just admitting that she is basically jealous. Inuyasha looked confused for a second and saw her battling her insides like she was trying to figure something out. He could've guessed that Kikyo really wasn't evil, she had to ruin the group for a specific reason and he wanted to know what it was so he ruined her inner battle by speaking up.

 

 

“Kikyo, why did you do it though?” he said with a hint of sadness in his voice.

 

 

“To be honest Inuyasha it's because I was jealous. I wanted you all for myself. You never paid real close attention to me even if we were alone. Even if you were with me. You never really paid attention. All we do is kiss. I'm sick of kissing Inuyasha I want you. I want your whole body and you're not giving it to me.” Kikyo's eyes darkened than what they already were.

 

 

Inuyasha eyes widened then he walked over to Kikyo not saying a word. He then pulled her into her chest and said softly, “It's because you can not have my children. Even if we did you will never have an opened mind or a pure body. You can't have children. If I wish you were alive again by the Shikon jewel then yes I will mark you as my mate, but while Naraku is still alive I can't do nothing. I have to wait to get the Shikon jewel and then settle things with Kagome first.” He finished racking his hands into her hair.

Kikyo eyes closed slowly and she put her arms around his waist. Now she knew he really cared for her, and not her reincarnation. He was waiting patiently for the Shikon jewel to be complete so she can be alive again. He will not have to wait long because they are almost to killing Naraku.

 

 

 

Naraku smiled at Kagome. Apparently she didn't want him to leave. She kept bringing up the subject of him leaving and kept asking questions on what she would do when he does. She had gotten another shard this morning and was still kind of happy about that.

 

“Naraku do you have to leave tonight? I mean can't you stay until the morning.” Kagome asked worried. She knows she shouldn't be begging for Naraku to stay but something about tomorrow told her that something bad is going to happen. She was heading towards the well now and she was ready to go home but she really didn't want to leave him behind. The war might start soon anyway. She doesn't know when but the war can be more brutal than anyone ever done before.

 

 

“Yes I have some unfinished business so I can't stay but I will promise you this you will see me soon after.” Naraku said grinning.

Kagome hit him on the shoulder. Kilala was sleeping in Naraku's arms this time. She got injured the last battle and wouldn't be able to do nothing but eat or sleep for the next few days. She pouted and asked, “When?”

“Let me just say that I'll show up when you least expect it, but since you are going to your so called time that will happen in a week.” He said with a smirk on his face.

“I thought you were evil.” Kagome smiled lightly at him.

“I am that's why I said unfinished business Kagome.”

 

Kagome sighed and just stared at him. It seemed that Naraku liked her company and she liked his. Kilala can't exactly talk to her and she wants attention every minute she's around her. It was something about Naraku that made Kagome safe though. It was like they were meant to be friends from the beginning. She turned her head to look at the road ahead and sighed again. Naraku was just smiling to himself and Kagome was just confused. She wondered if Naraku would be boyfriend `material.' She doesn't know where she got that from but she wondered if he was able to be gentle, kind, and heart warming to anybody, or was he just evil or a creep to everyone. From what she learned from him Onigumo is like the plague to him.

 

 

 

Flashback

 

 

 

“Naraku why do you want the Shikon jewel so much? You never really had a normal answer other than you want to get rid of Onigumo and be a full demon. What's so great about being a full demon when you're stronger than most full demons in this time?” Kagome moved closer to the fire. Kilala was sleeping peacefully behind Naraku and her. She looked at Naraku trying to see his facial expressions to those questions. Naraku turned towards her and smiled. “It's because I want to be immortal. I want to live longer than any demon ever would. Onigumo is like an illness to me and I want that illness gone. I want Onigumo's memories out of my head and most of all I want the power. I want to make sure that everyone knows that I'm not the one to mess with. I want people to think at least three times before going after me. IF they do then they know that I will fight with no mercy.”

 

“You already don't fight with any mercy. You don't give anybody a chance and sometimes or most of the times you don't fight your own battles.” Kagome said slowly.

 

“You must understand that Kagome. I will not fight my own battles unless I know I can win. Inuyasha for instance call take my barriers down with ease and Koga is way faster than me. I want to be able to read my opponents moves before they make them. I think about things before doing and that's just how I am.” Naraku looked into Kagome's eyes with seriousness.

 

Kagome smiled and said, “You are a weird, no scratch that, very weird demon.” She then pulled out her sleeping bag and gave Naraku a blanket. She rolled herself in the sleeping bag and said, “Goodnight, Naraku.”

 

 

End of Flashback

 

 

Kagome sighed again. She was being friends with the enemy. An enemy of her used to be friends. An enemy she was supposed to be going after. Instead she's talking to him like he's one of the high school boys in her time. She thought about it and never noticed Naraku looking over at her with that smirk of his. The sun was just starting to set and Naraku said that he would leave when the sunsets. Kagome looked at him and blushed a bit. She was thinking of being his girlfriend and if they met in the future she would definitely be his girlfriend. She was wondering how old he was so she asked. “How old are you Naraku?”

 

Naraku raised an eyebrow and said, “I'm 73 years old in human years. In demon years I'm 219.”

 

Kagome's mouth hung open and she shouted, “Damn you're old! How come you don't look it though? I know you demons age slower but you're a half demon just like Inuyasha aren't you?”

 

“Indeed. In another two hundred years I'll look like I'm aging but until then I'm going to look like this.” Naraku said with a little bit of anger in his voice. “I'm still young for a demon though.”

 

Kagome smiled and gave Naraku a kiss on the cheek. “We're friends right?” she asked with a little excitement.

 

“Yes but we are more than friends Kagome.” Naraku stopped walking and grabbed Kagome while having Kilala in two of his tentacles. Pulling her to him he kissed her on the lips and Kagome just gasped. Taking it as an invitation he explored her mouth with his warm tongue. Kagome slowly closed her eyes and was shocked because his callused hands were being gentle. Putting one hand on her cheek to deepen the kiss, and the other racking through her hair. Kagome moaned in his mouth and he pulled away quickly.

 

“That is why I came here.” Naraku said locking eyes with Kagome. “To be with you.”

Kagome's heart sped up and she turned away and blushed. She doesn't know why she kissed him back but he was so gentle and inviting to her. Plus he was one of the hottest demons that she seen other than Sesshoumaru which is why he's so stuck up but Naraku is one of those bad men that cause trouble to all those around him. Having the courage to look at him again she turns to see him petting Kilala in his arms with a smirk on his face. Kagome huffs ahead and really thinks that he's the stuck up one. Bringing the subject back up Naraku asks Kagome, “How old are you?”

Kagome turns to him and says, “Basically 20 years old.”

Naraku chuckles and said, “In humans' years but in demon years you are 60 years old. You are like a baby.”

Kagome smiles and says, “At least I'm not old like you.”

Naraku looked down at Kilala's form and asked, “How old are you little one?”

Kilala mewls a few things and Naraku laughs. “You can understand what she's saying?” Kagome asks out of nowhere.

“Yes and she says she's 67 in human years and in demon years 201.” Naraku said with a grin on his face.

 

Kagome rolls her eyes and thinks about the kiss they shared. Naraku can smell her wantings but that will have to wait until another day. She is not ready to be his mate yet and when she is he will make sure to take care of her properly. He learned a lot of things while being in her presence for only two days. Tonight he will make sure Kagura is freed and fed well so he can send Kagome many presents when she gets back. He'll make sure Kagura is fully healed before sending her somewhere.

 

Three hours later Naraku kissed Kagome on the forehead and said, “Goodbye.” Kagome didn't get a chance to say goodbye to him because his miasma surrounded him quickly as the snap of fingers and he was gone less than three seconds. Kagome sighed and looked up at the darkening sky. She will have to really think about what happened between her and Naraku before trying to go to sleep and most likely she will get no sleep at all.

 

 

 

 

Snowysess: That was short even for you Era.

 

Era: I got tired I can't type all that you do the rest.

 

Naraku: I love where this story is going.

 

Sess: I don't and I really can't wait until you start typing your own stories Snowysess I'm the star not Naraku.

 

Era: You're just jealous.

 

Sess: Am not.

 

Era: Are too.

 

Sess: Not. (Growling.)

 

Era: Are!!

 

Sess: Silly human I don't get jealous of anyone.

 

Naraku: Yes you do because in one of Snowysess's old stories your ass couldn't stand Inuyasha just because he was around Kagome.

 

Snowysess: You guys calm down people are supposed to be reviewing now.

 

Era: Sleepover!!!

 

Sess: I'll pass. I don't lie on pillows.

 

Naraku: Then you don't need that bed in Snowysess's story then.

 

Snowysess: Shut up I got to type the next chapter people are sending us reviews. Right?

(Glares at computer screen.)

 

Era: Yeah!! Reviews please!! We'll appreciate it.
