DISCLAIMER: I don't own Inuyasha
Sango clung to her little sisters bag, she had been looking everywhere for her but Kagome was nowhere to be seen she wasn't in any of her classes and none of her friends had seen her all day. Her anger was evident in the way she walked so most people stayed clear of her, Sango could feel small drops of tears forming in her eyes. Being tough and hardy was what Sango did best, but when it came to Kagome that girl could make Sango cry a river if she wanted.
Her little sister was everything Sango wasn't and she wasn't about to let anyone harm her in no way shape or form. Sango was protective and that counted for everything all she had to do now was find out where Kagome was and give her a hell of a lecture.
Kagome smiled to herself she still remembered where the place was, hidden by a small forest of trees and shrubs Kagome sat on a swing pushing herself slowly off the ground, the days events had shocked her so the best she could do was run away to her secret hide away. The place was hidden in a public park Sakura trees surrounded the perimeter of the garden, in the spring the garden would be blanked in small Sakura blossom and in the winter snow covered every inch. To Kagome this was her one place where everything made sense to her where she didn't have to pretend to be who she was wasn't.
This place was hers no one else's she didn't remember when she had found it but ever since she could remember she had always come to this place when she was on a family outing or when she was troubled.
(FLASH BACK)
A small 3 year old Kagome waddled past the picnic area and bounced her ball giggling to herself happily, the ball bounced out of her reach and into the forest of growing trees, frowning Kagome got on her knees and managed to crawl under the small shrubs and stood up, not seeing her ball she slowly walked towards the sound of water, dusting herself off of the mud Kagome was astonished to see Sakura blossoms everywhere. Giggling to herself Kagome forgot the mission in finding her ball and jumped around trying to catch falling blossoms.
Not noticing the tall figure staring at her from the other side of the garden, the small Kagome giggled and played contently not a care in the world. When two strong well built arms wrapped around her, Kagome stopped what she was doing and looked at those deep blue eyes, they sparkled and shone in the sun light. Smiling she reached out her hand “Hai nama saya Kago Rashi” the mans eyes gave off a slight sign of pain before returning back to their usual sparkling selves, Kagome tilted her head to the side “who are you?” the man smiled sadly “Yasuo you have beautiful eyes Kagome” Kagome giggled “Daifu say dey come from heaven like da stars in da skwy” the man smiled “yeah they do baby” standing up the man smiled “hey this is my garden how about I share it with you?” Kagome smiled “thankyou Mr.” the man smiled before whispering to himself “your welcome my baby” setting her down where she had come he handed her, her ball “if you ever need me come here and I'll help you” Kagome smiled to the stranger “ok Yasuo” Kagome waved her small hand before waddling back to her mother and father.
(END OF FLASH BACK)
(Kagome doesn't remember this)
`Kikyo I'm so sorry I didn't mean to break your world as well as mine'
Kagome sighed Kikyo had called her by her nickname `Sakura' the day they met Kikyo had gushed over her and loved her to no end, her real father had given her that name saying it matched her perfectly “as small as a Sakura blossom and as sweet as it's sent” Kagome smiled yes her sister was one of a kind Kikyo always was.
