Kagome sighed something was wrong and she knew it she pitched her bag over her shoulder before stepping out of the very same window Sango had just gone through earlier “What are you up to now San?” Stepping onto the branch of the god tree Kagome balanced on the tree branch before sliding skilfully down the trunk running in the same direction as Sango.

 

 

The night was silent and chilled this was the sign of a bad omen, if the crickets didn't chirp and there was no sign of the breeze the Assassins knew that tonight was a sign of pure death. Running across building roofs to their destination they reached a lavish apartment. Swinging by a firm cord hanging from the roof of a twenty story building an assassin looked through the apartment window to stare at a sleeping form in its bed “Fujin I can see the target sleeping, this means it'll be quick, I suggest the cut of the throat will be silent but will do the job, three men sitting in the living area and maybe a few more down the hall and possibly the bed room, stupid dolt thinks he's safe with those baboons ” the assassin spoke through a head set before signalling to be lifted back up. On the roof stood four very quiet figures all of about the same build each having their own height “No to messy I suggest injection, simple, quiet and a lot less mess especially since Mr Toshi is allergic to penicillin” the tallest and eldest of the female assassins looked over to the youngest “Kura you're the smallest and the only one that can brake the lock in the door, signal once your inside, I'm certain Mr Toshi is not alone and has seven Body guards surrounding him in his apartment, Obake and Heiwa you two take the three down the hall in the living area while me and Kura take four near his bed room and hall” the four girls stood on the roof in silence “May god be with you and get home safe” in a blink of an eye all bodies had disappeared from the roof top to complete an assassination of the richest computer hacker in Japan.

Sango thought she saw something flash past her as she ran up ahead to a waiting Miroku with his motor bike a smile graced her beautiful face as she raced to his waiting arms, grabbing him up into a hug Miroku swung her around and grinned down at her “hey babe you ready?” Sango grinned even more “lets go babe” Miroku then scooted forward letting Sango sit behind him, wrapping her arms around him Sango tapped his back signalling him she was ready “where to first my lady Inuyasha said he wanted to discuss some business, or we could always just meet up with Kouga about his gangs newly established profits five finger discount Hun” Sango tightened her grip on his waist knowing he was grinning stupidly “you know I wont steal Miroku, so straight to Inuyasha I hope it wasn't the Mayonaka assassins again they killed Yuki last week all her body guards were put to sleep but none of them harmed we really cant afford another one of our people dead” Miroku sighed “sorry babe but I think they struck again”

 

Miroku and Sango arrived at an abandoned building down town; a lot of folks wouldn't even attempt to go this far into the heart of what most people would call the waste of the ghetto in this part of the city the gangs refuge was setup exactly in the middle of this place on the outside the building was old and disgusting from years of bad abuse and neglect but as you walk into the building it doesn't look half bad, the walls on the first floor were knocked down leaving a huge open space specific walls were still intact to support the seven story building but other than that it was like one huge lounging area couches and furniture were scattered around the place making it look a lot less grimy and the place was well kept and actually cleaned, professional graffiti painted all walls which made the place a lot more homey for the occupants of the apartment building. Next floor was less spacious walls were still missing but this was where the peeps relaxed took a breather and just hung out with mates and where the Kitchen was as well. Third floor was for more sleeping quarters for kids either without a home or needed a place to stay. So the floors of the building kept on going as such till you got to the fifth and seventh floor fifth floor was only used to store valuable and illegal profits such as stolen appliances and valuables (yet very rarely was this floor used) the next two were business levels.

 

Inuyasha sat on his couch flipping through the T.V channel's when Miroku and Sango walked into his make shift office, it held a couch, old desk a chair behind it, a laptop on top of the desk a T.V on a cabinet and a mini fridge in the corner of the office. Inuyasha was proud of his office because he had gotten everything without bribery, stealing (although he thought stealing was low), threatening, bashing and plain abuse no Inuyasha had gained everything normally, buying everything with honourable money or so he said.

 

Inuyasha and the gang were totally different people outside of school it was like they all had alter egos; it was slightly overwhelming at times as well.

 

Miroku fell onto the couch next to his best friend “man what's up” Inuyasha growled under his breath “Damn Assassins killed again about an hour ago” Miroku shook his head “who this time?” Inuyasha didn't move his head as he watched T.V “Satsuki's Brother, Tech was injected with penicillin and just like all the other times the body guards were put to sleep, Sat said one of the assassins actually tucked her into bed and jumped out of her bed room window disappeared” Sango frowned “but it's rules to kill witnesses why didn't the Assassin kill Sat?” Inuyasha shrugged “dunno but all Satsuki's belongings are gunna be moved into one of the apartments she's living here” Sango frowned “could this be the missing Mayonaka Assassin the little one no one heard about her for like two years” Inuyasha sighed “Yeah she's back, the police found a Sakura blossom in Tech's hands, and a smile on his face, they think he committed suicide but I know better Sat knows everything the Mayonaka kid said so we'll ask her when she's here” Inuyasha stood up and walked to the fridge “we lost another computer hacker, someone's definitely making sure we aint getting no info from the city they spent a fortune getting the best Assassin to kill both Yuki and Tech either it's something they don't want us to know or Yuki and Tech were working for someone else other than us”

 

An Hour ago:

 

“Obake and Heiwa the doors unlocked” the girl snuck into the apartment alone searching for any sign of danger “coast is clear go to your left” two bodies slipped down the hall, hearing soft thuds in the living area she knew the guards had been put to sleep, walking up the hall she signalled the other assassin to take the right while she made her way to the end bed room.

 

Slipping behind a tall body guard she hit a pressure point in his neck and took his weight in her small arms, silently placing him on the ground she advanced to the last room, opening the door she found no body in the bed but standing at the window looking out at the night sky “I knew you would come, it was only a matter of time” the man turned around and had a mournful expression on his face “the day I held her in my arms I knew I'd protect her but now I don't know how she's gunna survive”

 

The man turned and paced back towards the assassin “My Sister was and is the only reason I'm living and she's the only reason I'm excepting my death” Toshi sat on his bed guilt written all over his face “when I tucked her into bed to night I watched her sleep, I cried knowing that was going to be the last time I saw her beautiful face, , god I wish we were stuck like that forever” smiling sadly he spoke again “her smile is so bright I told her Always smile not matter what Sat never frown, I just want her to know with every smile she gives I'll be there watching I never want her to cry for me”

 

The assassin had by the time walked up to him and grabbed his chin gently tilting it up so she could see into his violet eyes “your no coward and your love is no match for any assigned death, your sister knows you love her with your heart, I hope to god you can forgive me for my doings and may god forgive you for yours” the assassin readied her blade to the side of her body “I've already forgiven you” Toshi smiled up at his killer “to die is to live and to live is to die forgiveness of my soul for your forgiveness of my lies” the assassin hesitated “you do not need my forgiveness” Toshi smiled to himself “I need the forgiveness of the angel freeing me of my hell” the assassin was confused but kneeled in front of him grasping both hands she paced a small sakura blossom in them still looking down she said “love is stronger then life itself you die with a good heart and I envy you for that so in return of your forgiveness I will return the favour” The assassin stood above him a pure light was released from her palms towards his chest white whirls of light surrounded it “the enchantment of the purifying death” when the light disappeared Toshi took one last glimpse of her cobalt blue eyes before feeling like a weight was lifted from him.

 

The assassin stood above the now dead corps muttering prayers while lifting the body back onto the bed, she straightened everything out and placed the sakura blossom that had fallen back onto his chest “god bless you Toshi” bowing slightly the assassin briskly walked out of the room silently closing the door behind her, seeing her other companions waiting and pissed off she slipped into another room to find a young girl sleeping peacefully. Pulling the blanket up to the Childs chin she took one last look before jumping out of the bedroom window.

 

Not realizing that child had heard and seen everything Satsuki then let her heart broken tears fall.

Kagome stood in the familiar park waiting for her father to appear, feeling guilty she placed the last of her clothes back into her bag, the night breeze was warm so she didn't need her jacket anymore “come on Dad where are you?” sitting on the swing she had been waiting less then an hour “Sakura go home he's not coming” Kagome looked up to see Kikyo in an all black outfit “but- h” Kikyo took a step further “Go home Kagome” Kagome shifted her bag on her shoulder “fine Kik but tell him I had my reasons” standing up Kagome took off again, it was 1.00am in the morning “jeez I hope Daifu's still sleeping…

 

Kagome got to the top of the shrine steps and realized the window to her room was still open “San's not back yet!” Kagome had followed her as far as the second traffic light before loosing track of where her and her boyfriend had gone to, having business of her own to take care of Kagome took off into the night. Climbing up the tree trunk with ease Kagome stepped into her room “thank god I didn't get caught” getting into her nightshirt Kagome slipped under her covers and waited for sleep to arrive.

 

Ok so how was this Chap? next chappy is all about Kag meeting the Nishi Gang or Inuyasha's gang yay! So yeah hope this story is enjoyable trust me it maybe confusing but everything in this story has a purpose and it'll all make sense in the end.
