Kagome slowly opened her eyes when suddenly her mouth was covered by a hand and her body held down by body weight looking around franticly Kagome's eyes adjusted themselves to the darkness fear filled her innocent face seeing it was her enraged sister Kagome calmed some. Sango let her sister's mouth go but didn't move from her intimidating position hissing through her teeth she glared at Kagome “what the hell do you think your doing going out at night?” Kagome gulped “I don't know what you're talking about” Sango snickered “you're a lousy liar Kag now spill”

 

Kagome huffed out frustrated letting her innocent façade fall to reveal a stubborn mysterious personality “I followed you” telling a half truth was not exactly lying so she was ok “Why were you following me” Kagome clenched her teeth “you always talk so highly of your stupid wannabe gang I wanted to know if what you said was true, Daifu let you join so I got curious” Sango was still angry “Haven't you ever heard Curiosity killed the cat” getting off of Kagome, Kagome sat up “well this cat's still living, anyway I only got as far as the second traffic light before you disappeared so your cubby house is safe” Sango shot her a look “well Inuyasha and Miroku saw you last night their not happy either, your nosy nature made them suspicious and being sisters with Kikyo don't help either”

 

Kagome leaned on her arms and scoffed “it's not like I'm a spy or assassin Sango I cant even manage to dissect a god damn toad let alone try and murder your stupid friends I'm 14 years old and um have you not realized I cant even talk to a everyday person without getting all chocked up” Sango shrugged “either way your ditching school tomorrow to meet with them, might as well seeing as your curious” Kagome was taken aback Sango had actually offered for her to see into her other life, softening up a little Kagome smirked “so do you guys carry guns?” Smiling secretly Sango answered with a more softened voice “well you'll just have to see now wont you curious cat” Kagome huffed “humph what ever San um sis are we cool?” Sango turned around and smiled slightly “only if your cool” Kagome tapped on her chin “well I'm n-” Sango's eyes widened “Kag” laughing Kagome grinned “of course we're cool I'm sorry about everything” Sango ruffled her hair “no prob squirt promise you'll never hide any secrets from me?” Kagome beamed up at her sister “only if you don't keep any from me” both sisters hugged before saying in union “promise” Sango jumped into her bed and sighed.

 

Under the covers of their blankets both girls had their fingers crossed.

 

Beep, beep, beep, beep****** Kagome slammed her fist onto the alarm clock silencing its annoying sound “arhh 6.30am” getting up groggily she grabbed her towel and headed to the bathroom, taking her sweet time Kagome walked back into her room to find Sango just leaving “Shower free Sis?” Kagome nodded her tired head “mm” shutting the door behind her Kagome went through her wardrobe and looked for something to wear “hmm what to wear” pulling out a white tank top and black short shorts with gold swirls on the left side she then grabbed up her midriff denim jacket to finish her look off. Kagome then grabbed up her hair and put them in two pig tails throwing on white knee high socks and her pink and black chucks.

 

By this time Sango had gotten dressed, she was wearing her usual black tank top with a black denim mini skirt and Miroku's jacket finishing it off, she was wearing low cut red chucks. Kagome looked at her sister in the hoodie and her clothing when something caught her eye; on Sango's left hip was a tattoo of an ancient Inu youkai it went from her hip bone across half her stomach till the tail of the tattoo ended under her navel “San you have a tattoo” Sango's eyes became wide “don't you dare say a word” Kagome grinned “course not silly lemme have a look” Sango sighed “I thought you didn't like all this type of stuff” Kagome nodded I don't I actually think you're a total idiot for defacing your body but I wont tell on you till your 18th birthday” Sango rolled her eyes “well I'm apart of a gang how else was anyone meant to tell which one I was from” Kagome nodded “um San do your gang get initiated?” Sango's face became stone hard as she looked down at Kagome “yeah but everyone has there own way of being initiated I was one of the unlucky few” Kagome nodded knowingly “oh may I ask how?” Sango went cold “the only way was to sleep with someone this way I was giving myself up which showed my loyalty” Kagome looked wide eyed at her sister “you gave yourself away for this?” Sango held herself together “I still hold my dignity Kagome” Kagome would have retorted but her mouth was to dry of any words “lets go their waiting outside for us” Sango needed to change the subject, Kagome stood up straight “ok” she squeaked nervously, walking down the hall Kagome felt adrenalin rush through her, it may have been stupid to think skipping school would do this to a person but Kagome had never done this before and it was scary and exciting at the same time.

 

Running down the shrine steps Sango stopped Kagome “throw your bag in the bushes we'll get them on our way home” Kagome did as she was told and followed after Sango `San must do this often cause she sure as hell aint flinching' Sango walked up to Miroku and wrapped her arms around his neck pulling him into a heated kiss, a car drove by and Kagome squeaked, Sango turned around to watch her sisters eyes dart around the place “Kag your not gunna get into trouble no one will know” Kagome nodded slightly “tell me why I'm doing this again San?” Sango turned around and rolled her eyes “Inuyasha doesn't trust you I guess studying you for a day will help him realize you're a saint, school geek, preppy, goody two shoes” Kagome's lips pouted unconsciously “I'm not a school geek I just find all of my subjects interesting is all” It was then that Kagome saw him again, but this time she got a good look at him.

 

His hair was silver that ended down his waist it was currently held up in a high ponytail. His eyes were a deep flaming amber colour, he was wearing a zip up jacket with no shirt on underneath and black baggy pants, they looked worn out but that just made Kagome drool, the only other guy she thought of like this was Hojo but that was a different story “Kag, Inu, Inu this is Kag you two should remember each other from child hood memories such as bathing together to running around with no clothes on around the house” Kagome had turned a deep red and wanted to hide under a rock, Inuyasha on the other hand was no different and seemed bored as hell “so we were stressing over this brat, she cant even pick up a pen without straining let alone doing anything to jeopardize us” Sango shrugged her shoulders “so we leave her here then?” Inuyasha got on his Motor bike and revved his engine, flicking his fingers toward Kagome then at Sango he took off down the street, Sango turned to her little sister “get on with Hakkaku I guess Inuyasha has taken a liking to you Kag” Sango then jumped behind Miroku and speed off.

 

Inuyasha sped down the road the breeze hitting his face `she's different and hot I must admit, to bad I'm three years older then her though' Inuyasha grinned “but all good girls are attracted to bad boys” looking in his review mirror he saw Sango and Miroku but no Kagome “what's up where's the wench” spinning around he headed back to where he just came from dodging the head on traffic Inuyasha got back onto the right side of the road and rode up back to the shrine where he saw a scared Kagome “I'm not getting on that with you, you moron” Hakkaku growled angrily “listen missy get on or my heads gunna be on a goddamn spike” Kagome shook her head “nah, no way are you making me get on that bike” Hakkaku threw his arms up in the air “GET YOUR ARSE ON THE GODDAMN BIKE YOU STUCK UP BITCH” Kagome stood her ground and turned her face away from him, whispering softly “I'm not stuck up I'm scared you arse hole” Hakkaku being a wolf demon heard “listen kiddo my orders are to take you to the hide out you can make my job a lot easier if you get on the bike” Kagome looked at him then shook her head “I cant” letting out a frustrated sigh Hakkaku groaned.

 

“Hakkaku I'll take her you go ahead” Inuyasha pulled up beside him and looked down “yeah Yash good luck” Hakkaku turned to take one look at Kagome before speeding away “Listen get on the bike I don't have time for your bullshit, either go home, go to school or get on” Kagome hesitated “I don't trust you” Inuyasha rolled his eyes.

 

Usually he would have yelled at a chick if she was wasting his time but he didn't seem to really care around Kagome “why not” Kagome folded her arms as if he was stupid “first of all um Gang member, second nothing good comes out of all this violence shit and third you're the guy that called me wench at school and thought he could get away with it” Inuyasha shrugged his shoulders “well wench first of all, it's not like your ever gunna be apart of the gang, second I told you to get on the fuckin bike and third I'm not just any gang member I'm gang leader, well until my brother reappears anyway” Kagome stuck her nose up in the air “I don't care” Inuyasha growled “fine we'll do it the hard way then” Inuyasha got off his bike and strolled over to Kagome grabbing her up and carrying her to his bike bridal style he dumped her on his bike before getting on himself, Inuyasha shifted her so her back was securely against his chest, and her legs safely on his, grabbing his handle bars he revved the bike smirking “now you have to trust me” Kagome grabbed hold of one of his arms before he flew down the street, screaming at the top of her lungs Kagome clung for her life “MAAAAMMMMMMAAAAAAA”

 

Inuyasha grinned widely as he watched Kagome cling to him for her life “This is pay back for pulling on ma hair at school wench” he yelled over the roar of his bikes engine Kagome's eyes looked up at him it reminded him of a baby wanting to be picked up “don't kill me I still have to get into university and I was hoping for a scholarship into Harvard and maybe a career I could be your lawyer the next time your out of jail” Inuyasha smirked “who said I was ever going to jail and well if you die I'm pretty sure it will be quick so don't fret it wont hurt” Kagome was now on the verge of tears by that time “If you kill me there's gunna be more then just Sango after your arse Takahashi” Inuyasha smiled down at her “well I hope you have insurance lassie cause my riding's reckless” Kagome elbowed him in the chest “This is why I don't trust you, your adding even more things to the list of other things I hate about you and that stupid gang of yours” Inuyasha looked down at Kagome “why do you hate gangs it's the only way we can live round here you know, my gangs not bad” Kagome stayed quiet “Oi wench are you listening?” there was still silence “you know for a 14 year old girl you're a true brat” this then sparked something back into Kagome “well at least I don't kidnap girls and insult them unlike you, you pompous jerk” Inuyasha frowned “I'm not a pompous jerk, what's that anyway a posh Gaylord” Kagome shrugged “well now I feel a lot better knowing you might be gay Inuyasha but no it means your arrogant” Kagome slackened her grip on his arm “I'M NOT GAY!”

Inuyasha growled “I'm tempted to throw you off of my bike brat” Kagome stuck out her tongue “shut up and ride the faster I suss your gang out the better my perception of all of you are” Inuyasha frowned “stop using big words” Kagome looked up at him stupidly “what like perception, it's not a big word and I forgot I was talking to a two year old child” “Keh what ever wench just keep your trap shut before I do you some harm”

 

Kagome shut her mouth quickly and turned to the road, they were now just arriving down town, hookers were seen on every corner of the streets wearing dirty, skimpy rags, drug dealers exchanging drugs in broad daylight, gang boys shoving guns down their pants, Kagome screwed up her face in disgust “this is foul and yucky” Inuyasha turned a corner and slowed down he was met with a mob of testosterone driven men one of them smirked “looky here if it aint Inuyasha oh and look he has a nice looking girly with him to” Kagome sunk into Inuyasha's chest latching onto his arms.

 

Inuyasha came to a Holt and shook his head “sorry boys this ones untouchable Sango's baby sis” Kagome glared at all of them still holding on, her head was under Inuyasha's chin “don't touch me” Kagome resembled a toddler in a bad mood “oh Sango's baby girl guess there's no way in sneaking a kiss at least” Inuyasha shrugged his shoulders “dunno ask her yourself” Kagome whirled around in her seat “WHAT YOUR GUNNA LET THEM TOUCH ME!” Inuyasha rolled his eyes; the man had by now gotten closer “so girly what's your name” Kagome shot him a glare, chuckling the man nodded his head “yep definitely Sango's girl” Kagome felt him touch her leg, out of reaction and pure hate she flicked her leg up and kicked him square in the dick “I HOPE YOU NEVER GET TO USE THAT AGAIN YOU PAEDOPHILE” the man dropped to the ground while his friends stood around him laughing “yep definitely a lil Sango” Inuyasha laughed along with them “yo man I gotta cruise which means lassie here has to as well” the gang of men nodded before one of them winked at Kagome “baby if you ever need any help or protection holler and we'll be there we'll do anything for Sango's lil sis” Kagome looked down at the man still lying on the ground “can you knock him out?” Kagome pointed to him innocently, they all burst out laughing “anything kid” Kagome grinned “I just might take you up on that” Inuyasha smiled “see it's not that bad ne” Kagome sighed “I haven't changed my mind and don't talk to me” Inuyasha shrugged his shoulders “chicks”

 

Inuyasha parked his bike in the under ground parking lot under the apartment building, and sat silently on his bike “this place is a dump how did you come across it again?” Inuyasha by this time was sick of her insults “I bought it and no it may not be a 5 star goddamn hotel but at least I have a place where kids can live at, at least they know they gotta place when they got no one else to turn to” Kagome spun around and looked at him “if you have so much money why spend it on a place like this when there are better places to be, instead of the most dangerous place in the city” Inuyasha glared at her “you don't know shit you stuck up spoilt brat, this happens to be the safest place as well as the most dangerous, because its so dangerous no one will come after these kids if they live round here. Because this place looks so bad and abandoned no one bothers to check, I'm risking everyone's lives just to let you see how my life here is like, if this place gets fucked up I'll hunt you down and won't hesitate to kill you” Kagome glared up at him “I wouldn't wont anyone to know I was associated with someone like you anyway, so lucky for you and me we're both safe”

 

Inuyasha got off his bike “I would kill my own mother to know that these kids are safe, this gang is my family wench don't mess with any of them” walking to the stairs Kagome now got angry “yeah well you've already stuffed up mine you bastard, Sango is only 15 do you know hard it was for me to find out how she was initiated! I had to act all not caring but fuck; all I wanted to do was find the fucker that took my sisters virginity, we may not seem close to you but I would die for her, in our own way we love each other” Inuyasha snickered “yeah you two are really close all I see you two ever do is lie to each other and fight her friends are more like sisters to her then you are, face it Kag you lost her years ago without my help”

 

Kagome fought back the tears welling in her eyes “well that's because we didn't try I got caught up in my own troubled life that I forgot the one person who was always there for me. Is that what you want me to say? Well sorry if I cant trust people cause I know they'll stab me in the back or worst kill me but hey why would she wont me for a sister anyway” Inuyasha was shocked “look Kagome Sango loves you its just-” Kagome cut him off “Save it jerk you just clarified what I was dreading to hear” Kagome slumped her shoulders “She doesn't want me going out on the streets and I don't want her in a gang”

 

“Six years old, I was six and he died, I wanted to be exactly like him in everyway. He was my hero; he used to take me and Sango out all the time to playgrounds and amusement parks, he never once yelled at us actually come to think of it he never yelled at me in my life, he was gentle and he loved us two both” Kagome's eyes had a far away look in them as she tried to keep down her tears shaking her head she glared at him “gangs are never a good sign they only bring death and regret”

 

Getting off of his bike Kagome walked towards him “I won't say a word about your place to anyone, just don't expect anything more of me”
