My computer at home was struck by lightning so I was without a computer! But I am back in action now! Please continue to review to let me know of your advice and/or opinions! Chapter 7

Inuyasha sat next to a sweating Myouga. Sango still cradled Kagome in her arms.

"What's this explaining you have to do?" Inuyasha asked Myouga.

"Well, you see Master Inuyasha, I had no idea that you were going to go into heat so soon and well, uh, you see, that is, there are certain things you need to know about mating before you do it," Myouga said.

"Like?" Inuyasha said.

"For example, if you try to mate with a human, there has to be a sharing of the blood. That way, the human will have a little demon blood in her system, and you will have a little less. You both will be equal so to speak, so that the mating can happen properly without…well, let's just say I'm thankful that Sango and Miroku arrived when they did. The human will be killed sometimes, and the demon will never know what happened," Myouga said. Inuyasha grabbed the flea and squashed him in between his claws.

"And you tell me this now you pathetic little bastard! What the hell were you waiting for?!" Inuyasha shouted. Myouga floated to the ground and then popped back to his live self.

"Well, Master, I had no idea that it would happen so quickly!" Myouga said. "Please forgive me! I didn't know!" Inuyasha drew his sword and pointed it at Myouga.

"I ought to blast you into oblivion right now!" Inuyasha shouted. Myouga screamed in terror.

"Please, Inuyasha," Sango said. "When I saw him, he was in a rush to get to you, but it was too late! He was on his way to tell you! Besides, I'm sure Myouga can help you counteract this somehow, right Myouga?" Sango looked behind her at the terrified flea demon. He nodded his head.

"I will do whatever it takes," Myouga said.

"Fine!" Inuyasha said sheathing his sword. "The only reason I am doing this is because I don't want to piss Kagome off any more than I already have, if that's even possible, and you are going to help her understand what happened!" Myouga nodded. Inuyasha picked him up. "I warn you, flea! If she never accepts me back…I will kill you! At that point in time, I won't have anything to lose, got it?" Myouga gulped and nodded. "Now, you come with me. Sango and Miroku, can you guys please do me a favor and explain all of this to Kagome when she wakes up. The flea and I have to have a little chat." Sango and Miroku nodded as Inuyasha jumped away through the trees.

"Even though I know Kagome is the real person hurt in this situation, you can't help but feel sorry for Inuyasha. He didn't even know what he was doing," Sango said. Miroku nodded.

"I know," he said. "I want to say something to him, but I know the person I need to be comforting the most is Kagome. She is the one who went through the emotional struggle. I can't even imagine what it would be like to be raped."

"Not only that…but to be raped by the person you trust the most," Sango said. "That's the worse way ever. Your trust is broken and you're robbed of your innocence at the same time. That has to be horrible!" Miroku nodded.

"All we can do is be there for both of them," Miroku said. Sango sighed and nodded as she ran her fingers through Kagome's hair.

Meanwhile, Inuyasha landed on a tree far away from Kagome and the others with a little flea in tow.

"Alright you poor excuse for a damn flea, spill it! What do I need to do?" Inuyasha asked. Myouga started sweating a little bit.

"I have heard of this happening before, but unfortunately very few of them have been successful in getting the girl back," Myouga said.

"Like how many?!" Inuyasha demanded.

"Like one!" Myouga replied as Inuyasha's fist connected with Myouga's body smashing Myouga flat again. Myouga finally popped back to his original form.

"So tell me flea! What did this guy do?" Inuyasha asked.

"Well in that particular situation, the demon kept pursuing the girl until he had convinced her that it all happened by mistake, and that he truly loved her, and was sorry," Myouga said. "You need to admit your feelings for Kagome…but only when the time is right…when you think she will not respond negatively. But first, we have to convince her that you had no idea what you were doing. She needs to believe that the situation was bad, rather than you were bad. During this time, you need to give her her space. You have to remember that right now, she hates you and everything about you. She probably does not want to be around you just yet. After a couple of days of convincing, you are going to have to start courting her. In other words, you have to start sucking up! You need to bring her food to let her know you are a great provider, give her things like flowers to let her know you have a sweet, romantic side, and say kind things to her. Give her compliments. Do favors for her. The rest will just take time. It will also test how much Kagome truly loved you before this ever took place."

"Great!" Inuyasha said. He sighed. "I will do whatever it takes to get Kagome back. I would never hurt her on purpose. I want to make sure she knows that. I will never give up. I-I…love her."

Myouga smiled. He was happy Inuyasha had finally admitted his feelings for Kagome. He just hated that it had to be under these circumstances.

"Yes, my Lord…you love her…but are you in love with her?" Myouga asked. Inuyasha looked at the flea and frowned.

"That's none of your damn business you stupid flea! You're lucky I've told you what I have and haven't killed you by now!" Inuyasha retorted. Myouga flinched.

"So sorry, sir! Forgive me!" Myouga said. Inuyasha stood up with Myouga in his hand.

"You have some work to do. Go back to Miroku and Sango and help them explain to Kagome what happened. If anything happens…anything at all…you come and get me. In the meantime, I will keep watch on her from afar." Myouga nodded and dropped to the ground. He took of running leaving a small trail of dust behind him.

`Please believe me, Kagome,' Inuyasha thought. `I would never hurt you on purpose.' Inuyasha had held it in as long as he could. He sat down on the same tree limb and started crying like a baby.

* * *

Meanwhile, back at camp, Kagome was still passed out. Miroku and Sango were beginning to get a little worried.

"Do you think she is okay?" Sango asked. "She's been out for a while now."

"I think she'll be fine," Miroku said. "The poor girl had a lot happen to her within the past few hours." Sango nodded.

"I know," she said. A tear fell down Sango's cheek. "This is a horrible situation. This is just terrible! I always knew Kagome and Inuyasha loved each other, but why did it have to come to this?" A few more tears fell down Sango's cheeks. Miroku scooted closer to Sango. Sango eyed him warily, but soon decided that even Miroku wasn't dumb enough to be a hentai during a time like this.

"Hey, it's okay," Miroku said wiping away a few of Sango's tears. "I'm sure everything will be fine." Miroku wrapped his arm around Sango in an effort to comfort her. She laid her head on his shoulder and soon quit crying.

"Mmmm," someone moaned. Miroku and Sango looked down to find Kagome starting to wake up.

"Kagome!" they both said as they jumped to her side. "You're awake! You're okay!" Kagome tried to sit up, but to no avail. She felt like she had been run over by a truck.

"Oh, I feel like crapp," Kagome said. Sango and Miroku smiled weakly.

"You've been through a lot. It's only expected," Sango said gently rubbing Kagome's head. Kagome's eyes soon landed on her bow and arrow.

"What happened?" she asked. "Where's Inuyasha? Did I shoot him?" Miroku and Sango were a little taken aback by Kagome's tone of voice. Her voice held dread…as if she was afraid she actually shot Inuyasha with her arrow.

`She was just raped by him and now she is worried about whether or not HE is okay?' Sango thought. `I guess that's Kagome for you. No matter what happens to her, she still worries about others.'

"No, Kagome. You passed out," Miroku said.

"Oh," Kagome said. "So where is he now?"

"Far away, yet very close," someone said. They all looked up to find Myouga sitting on the ground next to them. They hadn't even recognized that he was there.

"Myouga?" Kagome said.

"My lady," Myouga said bowing.

"What do you mean far away, yet very close?" Kagome asked.

"Master Inuyasha knows that you probably do not want to be anywhere near him right now. Therefore, he will stay away from you until you see fit for him to come near you. Until then, however, he will always be near you. He will just stay out of sight. He still wants to watch over you," Myouga said. Kagome scowled.

"Hmph!" Kagome said crossing her arms. "I don't ever want to see him again! Not after what he did! You don't care about someone and do what he did! I trusted him, Myouga! I trusted him more than anyone else I had ever met and he betrayed me!!! He hurt me in the worst way possible!" Kagome was getting hysterical as she spoke. Tears of pain flowed down her cheeks though her expression stayed angry.

"But if I may, my Lady, Inuyasha had no idea what he was doing," Myouga said. Kagome calmed down a little to listen to what the flea had to say.

"What do you mean?" Kagome asked.

"It's true," Miroku said. "Inuyasha had no control over his actions."

"Yeah! You and I both know that Inuyasha would never hurt you on purpose," Sango said to Kagome. Kagome frowned, but then looked at Myouga.

"Okay, so what happened to him?" she asked.

"Inuyasha may only be a half-demon, but demon blood runs in his veins nonetheless. Demon mating rituals are much different than that of humans. There must be a sharing of the blood…especially if a demon is mating with a human. When the blood is shared, so is their power. That way, one is not more powerful than the other. They are equals. If the sharing of the blood does not occur…well…unfortunately you know first hand what happens," Myouga said. Kagome frowned.

"So why didn't he know about it?!" Kagome demanded. "Shouldn't all demons know about it?!" Miroku and Sango glared at Myouga. He shivered under their gaze.

"Well, you see, my Lady, Inuyasha's parents died when Inuyasha was very young. A demon's parents normally tell the child of this when is of the proper age. Unfortunately, his parents had unexpected deaths," Myouga said gulping.

"Go on, Myouga," Sango said as she glared at him. Myouga gulped and took a deep breath.

"So really…I…was…supposed to tell Inuyasha of these mating rituals," Myouga said.

"So why didn't you?!!" Kagome demanded.

"Forgive me, my Lady," Myouga said dropping to his knees and bowing to her. "I had no idea that Master Inuyasha was going to be mating so quickly. I arrived right as all of this was happening and sent Sango and Miroku to rescue you. Please, forgive me. I had every intention of telling him…I just arrived too late." Kagome sat there pondering this for a moment.

`Normally, Inuyasha would never hurt me on purpose,' Kagome thought. `Could this be true? I don't see why they would lie to me.'

"Do you promise me that you all are telling the truth about Inuyasha? That you all are not just protecting him so that I would try and forgive him?" Kagome asked. Miroku and Sango sat there shocked.

"Of course we do, Kagome!" Sango said somewhat shocked with her accusation. "You're the one who is hurt here! Why on earth would we be trying to protect him?"

"She's right, Kagome," Miroku said. "We have no reason to lie to you."

"The flea does though," Kagome said glaring at him. Sango and Miroku looked at Myouga.

"I swear on pain of death that I am telling the truth, my Lady," Myouga said. Kagome looked at him skeptically.

"He has to be telling the truth, Kagome," Miroku said. "He arrived while you were away with Inuyasha. He had no time to talk to him before then. He warned us of what was going to be taking place and we came after you. Inuyasha didn't know. In fact, if it hadn't been for Sango interfering, Myouga would probably be dead right now. When Inuyasha found out, he wanted to kaze no kizu him into oblivion!" Kagome sat there for a minute taking in everything. She had to admit that knowing this did make her feel better about the situation, but the pain was still there, whether Inuyasha meant to do it or not.

"You're actually very lucky my Lady," Myouga said. "Inuyasha must really care for you. Most demons would have killed you during the mating. It is very rare for a human to walk away alive from a situation like this." Kagome sighed.

"I guess it does make me feel a little better about the situation," Kagome said. "But I am still hurt and the pain won't go away easily. I don't know if I can ever forgive Inuyasha for what happened…even if he didn't mean to do it. I'm not the same person I was before. I feel different physically and emotionally. He robbed me of something that can never be replaced." Kagome started crying a little. "And the memory just won't go away!!!" With that, she fell to the ground crying hysterically and pounding her fists into the ground.

In a nearby tree, a set of ears lay flat against a hanyou's head. He was hurt. There was no doubt about it. Kagome was in pain…the worst pain she had ever been in…and it was all his fault. He hated himself. He wanted to kill himself right then and there. He wished so bad that Kagome would have released her arrow and shot him. `I wouldn't have survived Kagome's purification arrow,' he thought. `Damnit! Why didn't you release it?' Some tears fell down his cheeks. `I don't care what it takes Kagome. I will never give up on you!'
