The Hunter 4
The rain fell in sheets causing sight to be difficult. The thunder clapped with such force, as if it demanded attention. The trees blew as if it were bowing in the vast forest. Leaves mixed with rain were circling in an array of curiosity as the patchy field served as a bed for the fallen woman.
Before the unconscious woman, stood a man and two beasts. To the tribesmen the hunter was revered, and to be left alone. The villages viewed it as a sin to disturb him and doing so would be a bad omen to the village. Because of this they called him Hantu which in some translations means Ghost. His real name however, was a mystery for only few know of it. And the tribesmen dare not say it.
An unexpected light fell across the hunter as he reached his prey. The water was glistening the thick long silver mane falling across his forehead and back. The lightening made him have the appearance of glowing, as his amber eyes scanned his victim.
He had just finished a mission; he had successfully returned a multimillionaires daughter back from the hands of the rebels. Charlie was the one responsible in getting the girl to the family and out of the country, while he was responsible for distracting the kidnappers. They knew that they were lucky that time, for the child was not harmed in the least.
As he looked at the girl, he knew of his new and current mission. The question was weather he could finish the mission at hand. Her blood called to him, thus causing heat to rise in his own blood.
A pace behind him, like a shadowy wolf, a 150 pound dog prowled, his eyes gleaming at the woman on the ground. Right by the woman's head, it's twin was sniffing her, taking her scent in. when satisfied with the results the dog licked her cheek then ran up to the hunter and it's twin.
“She must have thought you spoke to her Brother.” The hunter said out loud chuckling. The creature then huffed in response, as if insulted by the comment.
The hunter approached her and picked her up bridal style. While holding her, he sniffed for injuries. `Snake bite.' He thought to himself. He could tell that whatever snake bit her wasn't lethal, but it caused her to have a fever. He then growled when he noticed the blood seeping down her shoulder. The woman had been shot.
While her wound was the only way he found her outside of his territory, the hunter was not happy in the least in finding her so injured. The hunter along with his two companions set off to take the injure woman to his home.
A.N- I know it's a short chapter but I had to introduce Inuyasha sooner or later
