The plan part 2 7

5:30 pm Japan Rush hour

As usual Miroku Houshi paused across the street from his office taking a few seconds to admire the building it resided in. From the outside there was nothing to reveal the secrets he had. But the building stood erect and eager to whisper the information that it held.

He had seen many dangerous things. He was one who witnessed a lot of blood shed. He himself had killed many people in his live. He grew tired of it all; he had the money to walk away at this point. No he wasn't a bounty hunter, thought that is what Naraku hired him for. He was an ex-navy seal, who now does private investigating for a living.

But even as a Private I, He still couldn't run from his past. He needed to run from his demons. He knew he was the man who held all the secrets, and that only made him even more dangerous. He had been in this field for ten years, and he felt the need to retire soon. He thought of Kagome Higurashi, “Maybe I should disappear too.” He said to know one in particular.

He hoped that she was ok. His source told him that she was safe, even after the bandit attack. They said she was injured but being taken care of, which made him relieved. He didn't know why he cared so much, but something about Kagome made him want her safe, and happy.

“I'm losing my touch” he said as he put in his favorite CD. Maybe it was her that made him not want to walk away from this job. Or maybe it was just curiosity in the whole situation.

“You know curiosity kill the cat.” He then muttered while driving.

He knew that his lifestyle wouldn't allow him to live long. He had been lucky to be the ripe age of 32 years of age. His thoughts soon drifted to Kagome's sister, Mrs. Arachna. All the things he looked up about her showed that she had no motive in wanting her sister dead. Though his job wasn't to snoop into her life, he needed to know. For his own sake he needed to know about her. From the moment he laid eyes on her, he wanted her.

She wasn't a timid woman, no she was strong, and she had a sense of strength that was rare in a woman. She was tall slender, very lean with curves in all the right places. Her brown eyes were eyes like an Amazon princess, fierce and calculating. Her legs were long and shapely.

Yes he wanted her bad; the problem was she was married. She was married to a very dangerous and wealthy man. Sure he ran checks on Naraku, several for her sake. He cheats on her on a regular basis. He only has her as a trophy wife. Didn't he know of her worth?

“Do you love him Mrs. Arachna?” Miroku wondered out loud as he drove off to his next appointment.

Same Day in Rain forest

The hunter picked up his pace nearly jogging with his two companions at his side. Their destination the swollen banks of the river. The river had been rising steadily for hours and he knew that if he didn't take care of the mission soon, the rebels would cross and try for another day. He wanted to kill them in the spot where they tried to kill her.

To kill them right along the river made him smile. So he led his enemies through the forest, circling several times, like it was a game of hide and seek. He made sure that he stayed close, but at the same time he stayed just out of reach. One by one his men reported in with a job of their own.

“Brother, we went to the camp we retrieved Charlie. Only six rebels were watching over her.” Was what was said over the radio.

“How many survived?” He replied.

“None, they tortured the others, she was the only one alive. They knew what would happen if they killed her.” The voice informed him.

“What of the rebels?” He then asked Frowning at the fact that they killed innocents.

“We took care of them. All six are dead.” The voice said with satisfaction.

“Good, go home. I'll handle these men.” With that he turned off his radio and looked to his two friends.

“Kiba, go home to check on Kagome. Tama and I will handle the traitors.” He commanded and the dog headed off to his own mission. With two of them left the man smirked and crouched down, waiting for his prey. He truly loved to hunt.

One hour later, the rain came hard as if thanking the two fighters and washing them clean of the blood that they had to shed. The man leaned up against a tree gasping for air. He had been up three days without sleep. Since taking in the woman, he had been too worried about her then to sleep. Fatigue was just one of his problems. Both he and Tama were injured during the battle with the rebels. Tama had a gunshot on his hip, and he had one in his stomach. Though he removed the bullet from both him and his friend with ease, he still had a hole in his gut, and it hurt.

When they got enough breath and were ready to head home they were surprised to see Kiba approach with both ears down whimpering.

After inquiring the whereabouts of their guest, the man threw his head back and roared. How dare she leave him? Didn't she realize she is supposed to stay put? She was to be here, right here with him!

With that last thought in mind the three ran to the hut. When getting there the three looked around sniffing, as if getting her scent memorized in their brains. When they were about to leave to look for her, the man noticed something on the table. It was a note along with some money. There before his eyes was a five dollar bill, in American money.

“I thought she was Japanese?” he said out loud

Thank you for taking care of me whoever you are
Here is some money, it's not much. I took your
Knife and some food and water

Kagome

“What the hell is this? It's scribble.” He said confused as to what the note said. He continued to look around and noticed that his favorite knife was also missing.
“Kiba, did you see my knife?” he turned to the dog and asked. When the answer was given, the man growled “So she's a thief too huh.” He then sniffed the paper again and threw it out. The three headed outside with yet another mission. This time instead of hunting an enemy, he was after his mate.
