Naraku was stressed and extremely pissed off. He couldn't wait to get home. First they arrested him, and then he spent two hours at a budget meeting. During the whole day he had tried to call his wife but wasn't able. For some reason the phone had a busy signal.

 

When he reached his home, he paled at the sight of three cop cars, and an ambulance. He immediately got out of his car and rushed to the front door. He heard people shouting at him, but he ignored him. `Sango what did you do?' When he walked into his living room, he saw police all around taking samples of what appeared to be a large pool of blood on his once white carpet. He was suddenly stopped by the very same cop that tried to arrest him that morning.

 

“Mr. Arachna, we keep meeting up like this don't we sir. Well we have some questions to ask you downtown. Would you come with us?” Kohaku asked the man next to him.

 

“Are you, Are you arresting me again?” Naraku asked unsure what to say.

 

“Actually yes.” Kohaku said as he grabbed the right arm of Naraku.

 

“For what? Where is my wife? She will explain everything. She was the one with drinking problem and the drug problem not me. She is even going to rehab for it. Ask her she will tell you.” He roared at them. `Sango what the hell did you do this time.'

 

“I am quite sure she could explain everything to us, but there is just one problem. She seems to be missing. There were at least two witnesses that claim that you were the last person to see her. Let's just hope that the blood here is not hers.” Kohaku said.

 

Just then Myoga came into the home talking on the cell phone with a grim look on his face.

 

“Lt. Blair, I handle it from here. Meet me at the station in 20 minutes for questioning.” He said to Kohaku.

 

Myoga looked at Naraku with distain and helped him into his Crown Victoria. “This has been indeed one hell of a day. Use my cell phone; you will need to call your lawyer sir.” Myoga said as they drove to the station.

Sango was almost there, she didn't have much energy left. After tearing up the whole bedroom with her gloved hand she grabbed the knife that Naraku held earlier and quickly with much force stabbed herself in the shoulder. She pulled the knife out and let the blood flow everywhere, then laid herself on the bed for about two minutes.

 

With her opposite hand holding her wound, she then smeared blood on the floor to make an appearance of a body being dragged. She grabbed one of her husband's favorite suits and rubbed her blood all on it. She then grabbed the keys to his car and the knife and went down stairs.

 

Tears of pain were stinging her eyes for the pain is her shoulder was almost unbearable. `No letting him touch me again is unbearable.' She thought as she laid herself down on the floor of the living room and waited for another five minutes. She bitterly thought of the times she spent here crying, drinking wishing her life would end.

 

She wished she would live to see the end to this all, but she shook her head. `If I would live, the whole plan would be ruined.' She thought as she reached for the house phone with her free bloodless hand.

 

She got up and headed outside with his clothes the phone and a mission on her mind. While getting into the car she dialed the number of her most loyal servant.

 

“Cornelia?....It's me Sango….please you have to call the police….He is trying to kill me….I am so scared.” Sango cried to her Cook then quickly hung up. While pulling out of the driveway she dialed 911, then threw out the phone and the knife and hoped that the police would find the evidence planted.

 

“I am almost free, just twenty more minutes.” She thought as she put her husband's clothes under the driver's seat and headed to the nearest beach. She was getting tired and her eyes were starting to blur.

 

When she reached the destination desired, she got out of the car quickly and headed to the water. She was a good swimmer; she just hoped that she had enough strength to swim far enough to not find her body. She waded into the sea and tears flowed into her eyes again.

 

`Kagome, I am so sorry. Souta, Keade, I failed you all. Please forgive me.' She silently lamented as she dove into the sea.

 

`Please everyone forgive me.' Was her last thought as consciousness left her.

“Kikyou?!?!?!” Inuyasha stood and looked at the priestess in utter confusion.

 

The woman in question smiled at him and looked at the woman behind him. “So, this is my replacement huh? She is very cute Inuyasha. To bad she is causing so much trouble for us. I really hope she is worth this effort.” Kikyou said looking at the two of them.

 

“Penguasa Kerasmaut (The great lord spirit of death) has given you something Kagome? Something to give Kanna?” Kikyou asked as she pulled on the pearl to show the two.

 

“Yes, he gave me this mirror.” She replied as she grabbed her bag from the hut and brought both items out.

 

Kikyou nodded at the two of them and motioned for the two of them to follow. Kagome looked at Inuyasha questionably.

 

`Don't worry tidak ditemukan di kamus (My love) she means nothing to me. She doesn't want me, much like I don't her. She was only saying that you were replacing her, by way of being a miko. That is all.' He thought to her as they followed the other woman.

Kagome nodded relieved that she didn't have competition and followed them with her hand in his. She knew sooner or later they all had to meet. And she wanted to get this crazy mess done with so the two of them could be together in peace.

 

The three travelers quickly turned into 5 travelers for Tama, and Kiba came and began to follow them.

 

“She is near, everyone, be prepared.” Kikyou quickly said as she looked around. The wind blew against the trees and the trees wailed in protest.

 

“It comes.” Inuyasha said as he tightened his hold on Kagome.

 

“I am truly honored in this warm and large welcome. And look you even brought my most hated rival Kikyou.” Tsubaki said as she appeared to them.

 

“Tsubaki, what is the meaning of this? Why are you walking on this earth and what do you plan on doing with the guardian that you currently posses?” Kikyou said as she lifted her bow and pulled out an arrow.

 

“Now now Kikyou, it is truly none of you concern. Hello Inuyasha, how have you been tidak ditemukan di kamus (my darling) All this really concerns you. I did this for you.”

 

“Who are you?” Inuyasha asked not understanding what the girl with green eyes was saying to him.

 

“Oh that's right; you never truly met me, though I knew all about you. You know we could spend eternity together, if you just let me kill that disgusting thing next to you!” With that Tsubaki pulled a strain from her hair and threw it in Kagomes direction. The strain of hair grew into a white snake and it opened it's mouth to bite her.

 

Not sure what to do Kagome backed away from Inuyasha, and threw both hands infront of her. As she did that a bright light came out of her and repelled the snake back to it's master. When it hit Tsubaki it immediately desolved.

 

“How do you have such power girl? I thought you weren't trained?” Tsubaki angrily asked thinking up of another plan.

“She is like the forest Tsubaki, wild and strong, she doesn't need training to survive nor does the forest want her to die. Can't you feel the trees? Leave Kanna's body and return to the land of the dead.” Kikyou yelled as she released an arrow. Tsubaki threw strands of hair at the approaching arrow and the snakes were scarified for their master. When everyone looked again they noticed that Tsubaki disappeared.

 

She didn't want to retreat, but she could tell that she wasn't going to win the battle. That Kagome was strong, and she knew that her chances were slim with just her. But with all of them, it would be impossible. So she left. Not with out leaving them a present. She pulled some strands and blew them into the direction of the group. Just then a fleet of snakes came from all directions attacking the five travelers.

 

“I hope they will enjoy my gift.” She thought as she walked off.
