Chapter 29:

 

In a hotel parking lot in Japan:

 

 

“So what's your take on everything Lt.” Kilala asked as she sat back and waited for the show to begin.

 

“I don't know really, we have been looking for the Japanese mafia boss for years. I had no clue that it was Naraku. Yet in a matter of 24 hours we fined all clues lead to him. Or how about this, his wife who happened to be missing could actually be dead by his hand? Or that he was that twisted.” Kohaku said in replied.

 

Earlier that day, the two police officers went to the bay to scan for prints on the abandoned car by the shore. The car was defiantly Naraku's. They didn't however find any of his prints. They could find old finger prints just not fresh ones.

 

“Well here my theory, Naraku had a fight with his wife. She attacked him; he accidentally killed her, and dumped her in the bay.” Kilala replied knowing the story was a bit far fetched.

 

“As much as I want that story to be true, it's not. The forensics found no recent prints or Naraku, nor do we have strong evidence against him. If we did, he would have been in jail. Though I do believe that his wife is dead, I don't think the bastard did it. It was too sloppy.” Kohaku said as he started to drum the dashboard with his fingers.

 

“True, but the media is now eating this up. He won't be mayor anymore and his friends already want to disown him. He will be serving some jail time. After all, he did do something. It's just the matter of finding out what.” Kilala replied.

 

“Yep, and that is why the good Governor is in there right now. So we can here what he actually did.” At that the two paused and put on their equipment to here the show that is going on before them.

The forest:

 

What's the hurry Miko? You just got here.” A voice coming from the direction of the well.

 

“Great just great, can't you bad guys just leave me alone for once.” Kagome complained unsure what was about to happen to her. She tightened her hold on Kanna and cautiously backed away from the sealed up well.

 

The well started to rumble and the seals on it burned off. The top exploded and out came a giant centipede.

 

Screaming Kagome with Kanna in her arms ran blindly through the forest.

 

`Oh God, this can't be happening.' She thought as she hurried.

 

Not getting very far the creature cornered the two, and went to devour its prey. Kagome closed her eyes and huddled to the ground with the little girl when she heard a growl. Looking up she saw Kiba and Tama circling around her growling at the centipede.

 

“These are my prey, leave us pups unless you want to be devoured too.” The Centipede roared as it tried to get the two girls.

 

“Stay a way from my mate, you Bastard.” Came the voice of Inuyasha. The three males attacked the beast at once, and with in seconds the centipede was in pieces.

 

Kagome gave a sigh of relief as she walked up to Inuyasha. She couldn't see his expression for his back was facing her, so she reached out to get his attention.

 

“What is wrong with you?” He roared at her.” Have you lost your mind? Why did you leave, do you realize what could have happened to you!”

 

“Inuyasha, I am sorry I…”

 

“I don't want to hear it, bitch” he roared. “You are mine! I won't share you with anyone.” He said to her shaking.

 

“You are right, I do belong to you.” She responded hoping that would appease him. `What is going on here?' She then thought of Tsubaki and Kanna and gasped. This place is evil. That's why the centipede attacked her. Why Kanna turned into Tsubaki, and why Inuyasha is acting like this.

 

“Please brother, don't be mad at us. Let's leave now, this place is scary.” Kanna whimpered clutching Kagome with fear.

 

“No we are not going anywhere.” Inuyasha seethed as his hair started to flair out around him. His eyes started changing and he started to grow dark purple streaks on his cheeks.

 

“Inuyasha, what is wrong with you.” Kagome pleaded fearing him for the first time. All her instincts told her to run from him. With that thought in mind. She quickly grabbed Kanna and they ran from him.

In Japan.

 

Sango woke up in layers. She didn't open her eyes at first, she just wanted to feel. First she heard soft piano music in the background. Her face softened as she recognized the composer.

 

Then her sense of smell came. She smelled the sweet scent of baked apples. She sighed at the smell for it was her favorite.

 

`I must be in heaven.' She thought as she arched her back.

 

She then took that thought back for her next sense contradicted the whole idea. Her sense of feeling was next. She felt like she was hit by a truck. A large garbage truck. She moaned in pain and it was then, she opened her eyes.

 

Despite the blurred vision, she knew she wasn't at home, nor was she in a hospital. Her eyes widened for she then remembered why she was in such pain. `Did I get caught? I can't even kill myself right.' She bitterly thought.

 

“How are you feeling Sango? A voice called to her. She was instantly relieved that it was not the voice of her husband, but her relief turned to fear when she saw who it was.

 

“Houshi? I..uh…I feel alive.” She truthfully replied not knowing what to do at this point.

 

“Well Sango, that is good. I want to make sure that you stay that way. Is that alright Sango? He asked the woman in his bed.

 

She nodded at his question. “What…what do you want from me? Why are you doing this?”

 

“Don't worry, you are safe with me. As for what do I want? I have all the time in the world to explain that to you.

 

She then closed her eyes partially from exhaustion, and partially from confusion. `Well at least I'm away from Naraku.' She thought as she allowed herself to drift back to sleep.

 

 

Author's note: I will be done with this fic by the end of the week. I know 'The demon Inuyasha' has been done millions of times. I promise you he is not a demon because he wants to mate Kagome.
