Author's note: Well well well , I am back. I am sorry for the delay So on with the tale.


Wait a minute. Am I supposed to fight him with this sword?” Kagome thought perplexed. The forest gave it's answer by showering her with leaves mixed with water.
"Oh just great, everyone now seems to want to get a piece of me." she loudly complained trying to work some sort of plan. 'I know, I'll avoid him.' she thought as she started to climb up the hill.
"Piece of you? oh no little girl, I want all of you...." Came a voice from behind.
"Inuyasha? Is...is that you?" Kagome asked searching the area for the man in question. 'Great now I sound like those crazy girls in the horror movies.' she thought
"Why? are you going to use that rusty excuse of a sword on me? I smell the fear on you woman." The voice called.
Kagome slowly turned around, and then again to look for him. The voice seemed to get louder, as if he was right beside her.'No the voice is coming from all directions. Where is he.' She thought. She then heard a chuckle. She spun around thinking he was behind her, but nothing there.
"Stop playing with me Inuyasha, I mean it! I am getting really tired of people trying to kill me! Leave me alone. Do you hear me? Get out of here!" She screamed at a random direction knowing that she was heard.
"Get out? Oh no I don't want to get out. What I want to do is get in. You should never fear me woman." He said chuckling again.
Out of the maze of leaves and branches Inuyasha came out with out a stitch of clothing on his body. Though being lovers' Kagome couldn't help but blush at the sight of him. 'He's still posessed.' She thought as she quickly backed away from her lover. She pointed the sword at him and fearfully steadied herself.
"Are you trying to see who's sword is bigger woman?" He asked her slowly as he approached her.
'Ok, he can't be making a passes at me if he wanted to kill me right?' she thought
Kagome backed away yet again, unsure what to do. He was before her, with water dripping all over him. 'Damn he looks so good like that. He looks so wet and ... Even with the red eyes.' she bit her bottom lip.
Inuyasha's body burned in violent heat as he approached his prey. He sensed that her fear was gone, and a new emotion took it's place. Hunger, need. He grinned darkly as he felt himself harden even more. But something about that sword seemed familiar. Whatever he was feeling, he didn't like it one bit.
Kagome for her part didn't even know what she still had the sword in the position of defense. Logic told her to stay with the sword. her body wanted Inuyasha anyway she could get him. 'He's not going to hurt me. you heard what he said. Why don't I just put the sword down?' she thought again.

The choice was made for her when Inuyasha tackled her to the ground. His lips connected with hers in an instant. He grazed her bottom lip for an open invitation and she conceded loosening her grip on the sword. He deepened the kiss and his one arm reached for the weapon in her hands. With out a fight, she released it and he finally had it in his possession. An electric current rushed through them, Kagome thought it was just mutual attraction until she saw her lover being thrown off her body.
Kagome's eyes widened as she got up running to him full of concern. He laid before her unconscious. She went to him and touched his shoulder as if her touch would make him feel better. 'The weird marking is gone. The sword must have saved him.' she thought as she grabbed the sword again. Kiba and Tama came trotting to her side whimpering to her and sniffer her for injuries. They then went to Inuyasha and nudged him and whimpered again.
"Your timing really couldn't have been better boys." She said patting them both on the head.
"They were here the whole time." Said the voice that Kagome grew to recognize as Seshomaru.
"The whole time? Why didn't they help me then. Or you for that matter? Do you realize..."
"Silence" He bellowed voice so strong that it silenced the rain, but caused the tree limbs to shake. "Insolence is not tolerated in these lands. Only you could have saved him. And by giving him his sword and with your miko powers has caused the curse to be lifted. Take him home." With that the great lord left her.
Come, let's get him out of here. Let's go home." She said as the two beasts assist her in carrying Inuyasha.

"Top story Naraku has been arrested for murder of his beloved wife Sango Archnia. The former Mayor is also facing charges of possesion of Narcotics and other charges. More news at 6:00 ....."
Kohaku, Sat back on the couch and turned off the TV.
"Do you think that we can win with those trump up charges?" Kilala asked him as she sat beside him. She handed him a beer
"Well, For the sake of the Governor, we better. We have strong evidence against him. Even if he doesn't get life for Mrs. Archna's life, he will with the others." was his reply as he opened the can.
"But don't you think it's strange that someone as powerful as Yura Hoshino would be a pawn. She's a very powerful woman, for her to be a pawn seems crazy. And why isn't she resigning from office. She could be exposed." Kilala interjected
"For what? Being a Bi-sexual whore? No what good would it do for her resigning. The people like her, it doesn't matter what she does on the side. She had been very discreet, even with Naraku. My thoughts are once she gave away her secret to Naraku," Kohaku began. " Only to get Naraku to reveal his dirt. She made him think that she would be easily blackmailed. When in reality he was the one who would be in trouble."
"I guess you are right. So what happened to Miss Archnia? You said you'd tell me about it." Kilala asked .
"Well, like I said to you, it seems like she was murdered by her husband. Lets just say, we will never find her body. " He mentioned as he took a swig from his beer.
"Well I'm glad that her body is safe. Any ways I guess we need to celebrate." she said cheerfully.
"What are we celebrating?" He asked as he reached for her.
"The end of Naraku of course." She giggled as he nipped her ear.
