Chapter 4

Kouga's betrayal or not?

Two or three months have passed and Kako and Kouga are together, Monoko and Sesshomaru are together. Inuyasha is necklace free, and Raven still has his necklace. Also Kiete has started traveling with them, not welcome by all though.

At Kaede's house Kako walked into the forest looking for Kouga.

"Where could he have gone?" Kako asked herself. Then Kako barley heard Kiete's voice. She ignored it and kept looking for Kouga. She heard Kouga's voice next.

"I don't want her to find us." Kouga's voice said. Kako got very curious and walked in the direction of his voice. She spotted him a minute later and ducked behind a tree. Kouga was with Kiete.

"Oh come on she won't mind." Kiete said.

"Yes Kako will I don't want her to see me with you. I don't want to be here any way." Kouga said and stepped in front of Kiete and blocked Kako's view of what she was doing. Kako walked back to the house on the verge of tears. All the demons smelled a sweet sent in the air.

"What did you do to Kagome now Inuyasha?" They all asked turning to look at the two.

"I didn't do anything and it's now Kagome." Inuyasha said defensively. Then they all noticed Kako. Yaiko walked forward.

"Kako are you OK?" he asked.

"Leave me alone! Sit Boy!" Kako yelled. Raven slammed into the ground.

"Ouch what did you do that for?" Raven asked.

"Call it a thank you for helping them bring me back you stupid mutt!!" Kako yelled then ran towards the lake crying.

"OK what was that all about?" Sesshomaru asked.

"I don't know…I …I thought…I thought she wanted to come back. I…I never…I mean…" Raven said very up set Kako always protected him from the others and hit any one who called him a 'mutt.'

"Oh Raven…" Monoko said and walked over to comfort him. Raven was a very cocky and arrogant person but all so very sensitive and caring at the same time.

Kouga walked out of the woods trying to pry Kiete off his arm.

"Would you let go of me…" Kouga said to Kiete. She let go of his arm and walked over to a tree and leaned against it.

"How dare you Kouga!" Monoko yelled and slapped him. He raised his hand and thought better of it when he was Sesshomaru's hand move towards his sward (Toukijin not Tensiga.)

"Where is Kako?" Kouga asked.

"Follow her sent stupid!" Sesshomaru said.

"All right I will." Kouga said and sniffed the air and walked towards the lake.

<Why is she crying?> Kouga thought as he walked toward the lake. When he reached it he looked for Kako and spotted her.

"Kako what's wrong why are you crying?" Kouga asked.

"Stay away from me." Kako said.

"Kako what's wrong." Kouga said as he put his hand on her shoulder.

"You don't listen very well do you?" Kako yelled and walked back to Kaeke's house still crying. Kouga followed her.

"Kako what did I do?" He kept asking.

"Just go away! Oh and thank you for reminding me why I hated boys!" Kako yelled.

"What did I do Kako? I'm sorry." Kouga whined as they walked back into the yard. Kako stopped and turned around then slapped Kouga.

"If you don't know then why should I tell you! You were in there!" Kako yelled through her crying and pointed to the forest.

"What do you mean I was in there?" Kouga asked. Kako slapped him again then ran into Kaede's house. She laid down on the floor crying.

"Kako wait…" Kouga yelled and ran after her but was stopped by Inuyasha and Sesshomaru.

"That's quite far enough. It's pretty clear she doesn't want to talk to you." Sesshomaru said then glanced at Monoko.

"Get out of my way I want to talk to her!" Kouga yelled.

"Well she doesn't want to talk to you." Inuyasha said. Monoko stood up and walked over to the tree of therm.

"Yes Monoko what do you need?" Sesshomaru asked.

"I want to go in there and talk to her." Monoko said.

"All right go ahead…" Sesshomaru said but was cut off.

"You ant going in Kouga so don't even think about it." Inuyasha said.

"I hate it when you do that!" Sesshomaru said.

"Sorry…" Inuyasha said and Monoko walked into the house to find Kako asleep on the floor.

"Kako wake up…Kako." Monoko said and kneeled down beside Kako.

"Hum…what…" Kako said as she sat up and rubbed her eyes.

"What happened? Why are you so mad at Kouga?" Monoko asked.

"Oh you want to talk about him do you!" Kako said getting angry again.

"Calm down! What exactly happened?" Monoko asked.

"Oh Monoko put two and two together! How many people walked out of the forest?" Kako said.

"Three so." Monoko said.

"OK! What damn gender were they?" Kako asked.

"Two female one male…oh now I get it…Kiete was hanging all over Kouga when they came out of the forest…Oops I shouldn't have said that." Monoko said and covered her mouth. Kako picked up the first thing she could and threw it at the door. When it hit the door Kouga, Sesshomaru, and Inuyasha ran inside. Kako picked up some thing else and threw it at Kouga.

"Hey that almost hit me." Kouga whined.

"That was its intent MORON!" Kako yelled picking up the thunder dagger. Kouga and the other two ran out of the house and slammed the door just seconds before the dagger hit the door.

"Damn she tried to kill me!" Kouga said.

"Yeah stupid! Do you remember who you were with in the forest?" Sesshomaru said.

"Yeah why?" Kouga asked Sesshomaru confused.

"Moron put 2&2 together. She saw you two." Kagome said.

"Oh my god are you serious." Kouga said stunned.

"Yes Kouga I'm dead serious." Kagome said.

"It's not what it looked like. We where…" Kouga trailed off.

"You were what?" Inuyasha asked.

"We were…Uhm…you know planning." Kouga said.

"Planning what?" Kagome asked.

"Uhm…well next month." Kouga said.

"What about next month." Inuyasha asked.

"Well it's…it's…" Kouga said.

"It's what?" Kagome asked.

"What the hell is this see how many questions you two can ask before he answers! Shut up and let him answer!" Sesshomaru yelled.

"Uhm…well…next month is… uhm…her…uhm…her birthday." Kouga finally got out.

"OK! But that still doesn't tell us why Kiete was hanging all over you when you came out of the forest." Sesshomaru said.

"She's just fucking crazy. I don't know why she was hanging all over me!" Kouga said then shuddered at the thought of Kiete.

"I need to talk to Kako." Kouga said and started towards the door.

"Are you crazy she'll kill you." Inuyasha said and stepped in front on Kouga.

"Move Inuyasha!" is all Kouga said.

"Let the idiot get himself killed." Sesshomaru said and motioned for Inuyasha to move. He did and Kouga walked in.

"Kako I need to talk to you." Kouga said.

"Go Away." Kako yelled and picked up her thunder sward. He just stood there and shut the door. Kako stood up and Kouga backed up against the wall. The next thing he knew there was a sward at his neck.

"Kako it wasn't what it looked like. I love you!" Kouga said. And looked at her.

"Oh really then what was it!?" Kako yelled.

"What is next month?" Kouga asked.

"Don't Play Games!!" Kako yelled.

"OK! Your birth day is next month!" Kouga said very quickly and closed his eyes because Kako's sward was getting closer.

"What?" Kako asked in surprise and backed away from him.

"Next month is your birthday." Kouga said.

"I know when my Birthday is!" Kako yelled then walked over and pulled her dagger out of the door. She walled out of the house. She put her dagger in its sheath on the leg then she sheathed her sward to her side.

"Raven look I'm sorry. I had no right to call you a mutt." Kako said kneeling down in front of him.

"It's OK!" Raven said.

"No it's now! You can hit me if you want." Kako said.

"No! Really it's OK!" Raven said.

"Are you sure?" Kako asked.

"Yes I'm sure Kako it's OK!" Raven said looking at her.

"All right you can still hit me just warn me first OK!" Kako said.

"Yeah sure." Raven said and smiled at Kako. She smiled back then stood up and walked into the middle of the yard.

"KIETE!!!" Kako yelled.

"What Kako? You don't have to yell." Kiete said walking up behind Kako. She turned around and unsheathed her sward then pointed it at Kiete.

"Keep your damn hands to yourself. If you want to keep them at all! GOT IT!" Kako yelled then looked over to Kouga.

"Oh come on sis we didn't do any thing!" Kiete said and winked at Kouga.

"LOOK YOU STUPID TROLLOP! I DON'T LIKE YOU AT ALL!!" Kouga yelled and looked at Kako.

"NO TOUCHY GOT IT!!" Kako yelled at Kiete.

"All right, All right. I get the picture."
