Inuyasha walked down the street, looking around and sniffing the air for the smell of wolf. 'Five years ago I would have been trying to avoid wolves.' he chuckled to himself.

"Hey, Dogboy, have you found anything yet?" Kings voice asked through his headset.

Inuyasha knelt down and sniffed the ground as he sifted through the different scents that covered the ground. "Yeah."

"Where are you?" Blade asked with his usual cold voice.

"Downtown. twenty ninth street." Inuyasha looked up at the street sign. "I'm going in."

"No, Inuyasha, wai-" Inuyasha turned his communicater off before Kagome could finish.

"Keh," the hanyou pulled out his gun and checked that it was loaded before kicking the door down. After checking that the area beyond the door was clear, Inuyasha moved to the edge of the wall and looked around corner. 'Clear." he moved to the edge of the next wall and looked around the corner to see five people around a table playing poker.

"Go see what that sound was." One of the older ones said to a younger one.

The younger man sighed and got up from the table. "Fine." As the man neared Inuyasha, the hanyou holstered his gun and pulled out a small throwing knife as he moved into the shadows. When the young man turned the corner, Inuyasha grabbed him and pulled him into a headlock, slitting his throat to silence him, then ripping the man's heart out with his claws and smashing it.

Inuyasha smirked. 'Clean and quiet. Blade would be proud.' Inuyasha dropped the man and moved again to the corner of the wall to see that the rest of the wolf's pack was at attention. 'Shit! These guys can smell blood.' Inuyasha jumped through a hole in the cieling and hid, waiting for one of them to walk below him. There was a tap on his shoulder and he turned around to see 13 men behind him. Inuyasha rolled his eyes and sighed. "Damn." at that word the man who had tapped his shoulder slammed his fist into Inuyasha's face, sending him flying into a nearby wall.

Inuyasha jumped to his feet and growled as he wiped the blood from his face. "You guys are strong." He pulled his gun out, and showed it to them and watched as they all pulled out their own guns, pointing them at him. Inuyasha ripped the gun appart and dropped the peices onto the floor. "But, I'm stronger." His eyes began to turn red and purple marks appeared on his cheeks. "Get ready to die." Inuyasha crouched down close to the ground, getting ready to pounce.

"SHIT, HE'S A DEMON!!!" one of the men yelled as he opened fire on the hanyou. The rest of the pack did the same, firing bullet after bullet at Inuyasha.

Inuyasha just laughed and dodged the small peices of metal as they seemed to move in slow motion. When the bullet's eventually stopped, the wolves watched as Inuyasha stood up straight and moved his hands to his vest and released the heavy clasps, letting it fall to the ground with a loud thud. "So. Who wants to die first?" Inuyasha growled, ripping of his jacket.

The pack of werewolves surrounded him, each one transforming until the hanyou was surrounded on all sides by giant snarling wolves. "So you all want it at the same time." Inuyasha smirked and raised on clawed hand, flexing it. "LET'S GO THEN!" The wolves all leaped at him at once. Inuyasha closed his eyes, concentrating, then opened them wide, as everything seemed to move in slow motion. He grabbed one wolf by it's front paw and pulled it closer to him. Using his claws, Inuyasha ripped through the bottom of the wolf's skull and out the top. The hanyou then pulled his hand out and threw the dead animal to the side, moving his concentration to the rest of the pack. Inuyasha flexed his claws. "BLADES OF BLOOD!" Inuyasha struck the rest of the wolves back into the surrounding walls. "Is this all you've got?" the hanyou laughed as he watched the wolves struggle to their feet. "Come on! FIGHT ME!" One of the wolves lunged at Inuyasha from behind only to have his heart ripped out. Inuyasha laughed as he dropped the wolf onto the ground and stepped on it. "YOU'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!" Inuyasha grabbed another one of the wounded wolves and ripped it's head off, spilling it's blood all around the room. "YOU'RE NO MATCH FOR ME!!!" He laughed grabbing a wolf by the neck as it tried to flee and pinned it to the ground, looking into it's scared eyes as he ripped into it's chest. "Did you really think you could get away from me?" Inuyasha whispered into the terrified wolfs ear before crushing it's heart in his claws. There was a loud snarl from behind the hanyou as another wolf lunged at him. Inuyasha spun around faster than the wolf could see and caught it by the throat. "Don't do that." Inuyasha twisted the surprised wolfs head of, throwing it into the wall. Inuyasha picked up the wolves one by one, ripping thier hearts out and their heads off until there was only one left. The hanyou walked slowly over to the small wolf, laughing uncontrolably as he watched it try to scurry away. The hanyou jumped and landed almost silently in front of the wolf, lifting it up by the neck and looking it in the eye. "Nothing survives." He drew his clawed fist back laughing as the tiny wolf struggled against him.

Suddenly there was a crashing sound of a door being kicked open. "SIT!!" Inuyasha dropped into the ground, sending the young pup flying through the air. Kagome dove through the air and caught it, hugging it to her chest as she landed on her back, slidding across the ground.

Inuyasha rose slowly to his feet as the spell wore off, his eyes shining the same color as the blood that he was covered with. "What did you do that for, bitch?" The hanyou snarled walking toward her. Kagome tried to stand up, but Inuyasha was too fast. In less than a second, he had her and the pup pinned to the wall by their throats. "ANSWER ME!"

Kagome move her hands to his arm, struggling against him as she tried to breath. "In...nu.." she choked. He watched as she suddenly grabbed his arm tightly, closing her eyes. "LET GO!" there was a flash of pink light and Inuyasha blacked out.

The next day 7:56 AM...

Inuyasha woke up with a start. He looked around, panting and sweating uncontrolably. He looked next to him to see that Kagome was laying next to him, sleeping peicefully. He looked closer to see that she was curled around something small and furry. "Kagome?" He shook her lightly.

"Shh..." she whispered, looking up at him.

"Why?" he looked at her, confused.

"He's asleep." she whispered to him. She uncurled turned over to show him the small bundle of fur.

"What are you doing with that thing Kagome?" Inuyasha backed away slightly, almost falling off of the bed. "Werewolves are dangerous. Even if they are just pups."

"He's less than a year old. Abi told me he's not even old enough to transform into a human yet. We killed his parents and..."

"And what? You thought it would be okey to bring it home?" Inuyasha growled at the sleeping wolf cub.

Kagome bared her fangs and moved into a protective position around the cub. "He hasn't done anything wrong!" she hissed.

Inuyasha relaxed, smiling. He sighed. "Well, it's not like I can stop you." 'That's my Kagome. Always thinking of others.'

The female hanyou cocked her head to the side, confused.

"You can keep him. Just don't let him taste human blood. If he does we won't be able to protect him." Kagome nodded. "What does he eat?"

"I gave him chopped up hamburger meat earlier. He seemed to like it." Kagome seemed to relax slightly.

"Okey." Inuyasha sighed. He moved closer to his mate and caressed her face. "Your going to have to take care of him." He kissed her gently on the nose before laying back down and falling asleep. Kagom looked down at him then moved the pup between them and snuggling close to Inuyasha.
