Chapter 9

Sorry I have not written a Chapter lately. I guess I had writer's block. Well, for Inuyasha fans that have AOL you can role-play. Go to Chat listings, and in the box type in Inuyasha. For all you fans without AOL, there are lots of sites where you can RP. I want to thank all of the reviewers! I really appreciate it. It is snowing right now, so if I tend to write things with snow in them that's why! Lol!

Neko walked proudly with her head held high. Inuyasha walked behind her and Shippau behind him. The sun was above them now and the heat was intense. Sweat dripped off their body's as they walked on up a tall bluff.

"How much longer are we going to walk?" Inuyasha moaned.

"Its not much farther. Just a few more miles." Neko answered.

"A few more MILES!"

Shippau ran up beside Inuyasha, "don't complain or you'll offend her. You never an to offend woman."

"Miroku doesn't have a problem with offending them," Inuyasha snickered.

"Who?"

"No one."

The climb became steeper as they walked forward. Neko's black hair waved in back in forth. Shippau was whistling a small tune and Inuyasha was wearing a pouting face. The rest of the cat tribe followed them slowly.

"Inuyasha is it just me or are all of this tribes people women and girls."

"I'm sure the men are all off fighting demons or something."

Neko turned over hearing the conversation and turned on them. "It was bad enough I had to ask a DOG for help, but did it have to be a man!"

"What's wrong with men!"

Inuyasha and Neko's eyes met. Shippau backed away. He had learned by now of Inuyasha's short temper and did not want to find out what happened when you put two short-tempered people together.

"You're all obnoxious, loafing creatures!"

"Like Women aren't!"

Shippau jumped between the two right when they were ready to rip each other to shreds. The two backed away from each other and noticed the crowd that had formed around them. They then continued walking, farther apart this time.

At the tribe's village<><><><><><><><>< ><><>

Inuyasha, Shippau, Neko, and the rest of the cat tribe stood in the center of a large village. The tribe left Inuyasha and Shippau with Neko and went about their business.

"Heta, show these guests to their rooms."

A small girl with sandy hair and cat ears appeared before Inuyasha and Shippau. She bowed slightly and took Inuyasha's hand. A large smile crept across her face. "Follow me."

Inuyasha turned to Neko, "where you going off too?"

"To the see if Sita can see you now." She flicked her back tail and walked off.

He turned his eyes back to Heta. She was still beaming at him. "Follow me." Heta began walking towards a large hut. Inuyasha followed her.

They entered the hut and Inuyasha looked around. It was a grand place. Two large beds with silk sheets sat in the center of the room. A large fireplace made of clay sat in front of them. Two large vases full of delicate roses sat upon small shelves.

"Please make yourself at home sir. I have worked hard to ready the room for our guests." She smiled more broadly then before and her tail was wagging back and forth with glee.

"Thankyou. Its nice."

"Its nice? I tried to make it perfect for you." Her smile disappeared.

Shippau looked at her, "Did he say nice, her meant absolutely perfect!"

Heta smiled again and bowed before she rocketed out the door. A minute of silence drifted over them before she came back, "Sorry, I forgot to tell you a hot bath is ready behind the house."

Inuyasha and Shippau enjoyed the bath and relaxed (quite unusual for Inuyasha) they slept soundly and ate a large dinner Heat prepared for them. It was as if they were living in paradise. Inuyasha's mind still drifted back to Kagome at everything he did. He felt he was wasting the precious little time he had.

The human Inuyasha lay in the soft grass beside Kagome looking up at the stars. His black hair blew in a soft breeze.

Kagome rolled over and looked at him, "Inuyasha, this great."

Inuyasha looked Kagome deep in the eyes. "Everything's great…with you."

They turned and looked back at the stars. Suddenly the wind blew fiercely. Inuyasha sat up as storm clouds covered the stars. The wind blew his hair into his face. It was white. His fangs and ears grew.

Kagome began backing away in horror. "Inuyasha, what's happening."

Inuyasha turned into his demon form. "Kagome."

His heart and mind became different parts. His head was yelling at him to kill her and everything else around, but his heart was the only thing holding back.

"Inuyasha. I hate you. I hate you!"

"No. I…I…I…ca"

Inuyasha opened his eyes. Cold sweat was dripping off him. He was lying on the floor. It was just a dream. Shippau was still asleep in the other bed. He listened, but heard nothing but his own breathing. Then something stirred outside the hut.

He lifted himself up and walked outside into the cool air. A cat demon was standing there. A male cat demon.

Well, that's the end of this chapter. Still snowing outside. I just had to put the cool night air in there because I am freezing. Well, I hope you liked it. Plz review. I want at least one more!
