Inuyasha: Never Gone
Chapter 2

"Kagome..."
"What are you doing here?" Kagome asked.
"Nice greeting. I thought you might be happy to see me." Inuyasha stated.
"I would be if you hadn't been so mean to me."
She had a point there. He had been mean to her by telling her to go back to her own time.
"I'm sorry, Kagome. I didn't mean that. I don't want you to make that wish for me. I just want you close to me." Inuyasha was telling Kagome as he was coming closer to her.
"Inuyasha...Osuwari!"
Inuyasha screamed as he hit the ground. He knew he deserved it.
"Kagome, I'm really sorry. I was just confused when everything was over. I didn't know what I was talking about. Please forgive me."
Kagome thought for a moment. This might be the opprotunity that she needed to get back at the hanyou. Kagome smirked inwardly at this. She would take advantage of this opprotunity. She would make Inuyasha beg and beg until he couldn't beg anymore.
Kagome started to walk away from Inuyasha and leave him on the ground. Inuyasha got up and quickly caught up to the miko. He walked behind Kagome as she walked to her room. Inuyasha was about to follow Kagome into her room when the door was shut in his face. Inuyasha rubbed his nose as his ears were tucked into his head.
"Hey, Inuyasha!" Came the voice of a very cheerful now ten-year-old boy.
"Hey, Souta." Inuyasha said forlornly.
"What's wrong?"
"I screwed up."
"What happened?"
"I told Kagome that she should come back here and not come back to the feudal era since we're done with the search for the Shikon no Tama but I was really wrong. I miss her and I want her to come back with me."
"Oh...She must have been mad about that, huh?"
"Mad? She's pissed. She sat me like a million times." Inuyasha egagerated.
Souta blinked at the hanyou. "Well, I guess you deserved it." He said as he walked off, leaving Inuyasha to himself outside of Kagome's bedroom door.
"Yeah...I do deserve it." Inuyasha said quietly to himself.
Inuyasha walked out of the house and went to the roof right over Kagome's room. He picked up a sound coming from her open window. Was she crying?
"Inuyasha..." Kagome cried.
'She's still crying over me?' Inuyasha thought, becoming very sad. He had really hurt the miko he loved. "Kagome..."
Inuyasha wanted to climb into Kagome's window, swoop in, and romance the hell out of the miko. He knew he had a lot of making up to do first though. Maybe he could be romantic while making it up to Kagome.
Inuyasha went back into the house and asked Kagome's mother if she could help him with something.
"Um, mama?"
"Yes, Inuyasha, dear?"
"Would you be able to help me with something for Kagome?"
"Of course, dear."
Inuyasha explained to Kagome's mother what he wanted to do. She helped him get the things he needed and also the preprations.
"This is going to be good." Inuyasha said.
"I'm sure Kagome will like it." Kagome's mother said.
"I hope so."
"I'll go get Kagome."
"Thanks." Inuyasha stood by the table as Kagome's mother went and got her.
As Kagome came down the stairs, Inuyasha's heart started pounding in his chest. He thought it might burst or that his heart would stop. Kagome looked at Inuyasha after coming into the dinner area. Her heart skipped a few beats when she saw the scene before her.
The table had been set for only two people, candles and flowers in the middle of the table as well. There was a covered pot of something hot to the side of the two places.
"What's this?" Kagome asked.
"I made you dinner. With a little help from your mom." Inuyasha said.
Kagome walked past Inuyasha and looked closer at the table. The flowers on the table were yellow roses.
'He's really saying he's sorry.' Kagome smiled before sitting down.
"What are we having?" Kagome asked.
Inuyasha uncovered the pot and a puff of steam lifted up into the air. "Ramen."
Kagome giggled. 'Inuyasha's favorite food. Well, at least he's trying and it's the thought that counts.' "Looks good."
Inuyasha took Kagome's bowl and served her first then himself, he even waited for her to start eating before he ate.
'He's being very polite. I've never seen this side of him before. He usually eats his ramen before anyone has even taken their first bite. He's not inhailing it either. He's actually eating it quite civilized.'
Kagome looked at Inuyasha with slight shock. Inuyasha swallowed what was in his mouth and spoke.
"What?" Inuyasha asked.
"Nothing. I've just never seen you eat like this. You usually finish before anyone else. It's nice."
"Anything for you..." He said softly.
Kagome blushed. Okay, maybe she didn't need to make him beg until he couldn't beg anymore. He was truly sorry for what he did. He made Kagome a candle light dinner, with a little help from her mother perhaps, but still, he had done this...for her. Kagome and Inuyasha finished eating in silence. Kagome stood up, Inuyasha following suit. Kagome was about to take her dishes to the kitchen when Inuyasha took them from her and placed them in the sink after rinsing them. Inuyasha came back to Kagome and took her by the hand, leading her outside where it was now dark. The two took a little stroll around the temple in silence, hand in hand.
'Maybe I should forgive him.' Kagome thought.
'If only we could be like this more often.' Inuyasha thought.
"Inuyasha?""Yes, Kagome?"
Kagome took in a deep dreath. "I forgive you."
"Really?" Inuyasha said excitedly.
Kagome nodded which made Inuyasha extremely happy. Inuyasha hugged Kagome gently.
"Thank you." He whispered into her ear.
Kagome smiled gently. The two stayed like that for a few more minutes before letting go of each other.
"Kagome?"
"Hm?"
"Will you...come back with me?"
"Huh?"
"Will you come back with me? To the feudal era?"
Kagome was a little surprised, but she thought about it for a moment.
"Sure."
"Really?"
"Yeah. I've been wanting to go back anyway. I've missed everyone.""We've all split up. It'll probably be just you and me."
"Oh."
"You don't want to come back then?"
"No, it's not that. I want to come back with you. It's just, I was kind of hoping I could see everyone again. Nothing has been the same without you guys around."
"I know how you feel. Nothing has been the same since you left."
Inuyasha and Kagome found themselves at the well. Inuyasha started going into the well.
"Wait. How am I going to get back without the Shikon no Tama?" Kagome asked.
"I've got it right here." Inuyasha said as he pulled the jewel from his haori and handed it to Kagome.
Kagome took the jewel from the hanyou and went toward the well.
"I think we should wait until tomorrow to go back. It's too late now."
"Okay. Besides, I am getting a bit tired." Inuyasha said with a yawn.
Kagome went back inside as Inuyasha followed her. Kagome paused a moment before going up the stairs, thinking.
"What is it?" Inuyasha asked.
"Nothing. Come on." Kagome proceeded up the stairs to her room, closing the door behind Inuyasha after he entered.
Kagome sat in the chair at her desk, but faced the bed where Inuyasha sat.
"Um...so..." Kagome said, now nervous for some reason. She didn't know how to act around Inuyasha since he had been so nice and polite before at dinner.
"What are you sitting all the way over there for? Come sit over here." Inuyasha suggested politely.
"Okay, what have you done to Inuyasha?" Kagome asked.
"Huh? What are you talking about?"
"You're not acting like yourself, Inuyasha." Kagome said as she sat on her bed next to the hanyou.
"Well, I guess you could say that love has gotten to me."
Kagome blinked.
"I've realized the error of my ways and I want to make it up to you, Kagome." Inuyasha said in a sultry voice.
Kagome blushed pink.
"I love you, Kagome." Inuyasha whispered into Kagome's ear, his breath warm on her neck.
Kagome's heart started pounding and her breath became fast.
"Inuyasha..." Kagome whispered breathlessly.
"Yes, Kagome?" Inuyasha asked as he pushed Kagome's hair from her shoulder and kissed her neck.
Kagome moaned slightly and turned to face Inuyasha and whispered. "I love you..."
Kagome took Inuyasha's face in her hands and kissed him. Inuyasha closed his eyes, put his arms around Kagome's waist and deeped the kiss between them. Kagome could feel Inuyasha's fang-like K-9 teeth. She leaned back slightly and the two of them fell onto her bed, still locked in a kiss.
Kagome could feel Inuyasha's arrousal against her leg and Inuyasha could smell Kagome's arrousal.
Kagome started to undress Inuyasha by first pulling off his haori. Inuyasha took off Kagome's shirt to reveal her bra.
"What is that?" Inuyasha asked.
"It's called a bra."
"What the hell is it for?"
"Well, it's supposed to hold up my boobs."
"Looks uncomfortable."
"It is, sort of."
"Then why are you wearing it?"
"Good question." Kagome unhooked her bra, then got suddenly very nervous.
"What's wrong?"
"Well, it's just that, no guy has ever seen me naked before."
"So? If I didn't want to see you like this I wouldn't be here right now. I love you, Kagome." Inuyasha kissed Kagome gently.
Kagome slid the bra off and droped it to the floor and started blushing.
"You're so beautiful." Inuyasha kissed Kagome's collar bone causing her become more arroused, which caused Inuyasha to become more arroused.
Inuyasha took his under shirt off and let Kagome admire him for a moment before kissing her again. Kagome moaned into Inuyasha's mouth.
"Inuyasha...make love to me..."
"Huh?"
Kagome thought for a moment, then realized that Inuyasha was half dog demon.
"Mate with me, Inuyasha..."
"Ohh...are you sure?"
"I've never been more sure of anything in my entire life." Kagome said as she looked straight into Inuyasha's gold eyes.
"Okay then."
Inuyasha slowly pulled off Kagome's skirt and panties at the same time then took off the rest of his own clothes.
"Are you ready?" He asked.
"Yes..." Kagome whispered.
Inuyasha gently took Kagome causing the miko to hiss in pain.
"Are you alright? I'm not hurting you am I?" Inuyasha asked, concerned.
"No. I'm fine.""Are you sure?""Yes. It's only because I'm a virgin."
"A what?"
"I've never mated before so I'm a virgin. That's just something that a person who's never mated before is called."
"Oh. Okay. You'll tell me if I hurt you, right?"
"Yes. I'll tell you if you hurt me."
Inuyasha started moving slowly and Kagome closed her eyes and moaned.
Inuyasha was in pure bliss. He had never felt so alive. From this moment on, he knew that he would be with Kagome forever.
Kagome was in heaven. She had longed for this moment for what seemed like eternity. She knew this was right.
They both knew when their climax was coming and when it came it was like fireworks exploding everywhere.
Inuyasha collapsed on top of Kagome, out of breath. He had never felt this tired, even after fighting Naraku.
"Inuyasha, are you alright?"
"Yeah. I'm fine. That wore me out somehow, though."
"Really? I'm perfectly fine. I could even do that again."
"Again? You want to do that again?"
"We don't have to right now. We should go to sleep actually if we want to get up to leave in the morning."
"Yeah. Good night."
"Good night, Inuyasha."
Inuyasha kissed Kagome on the forehead and fell asleep next to her. Kagome made sure she covered the two of them before letting herself be taken by the darkness of sleep.

What an ending, huh? Sorry that this chapter took so long to finish. I was stuck without a compter for about a month and I was busy with work and stuff. Now I'm back on unemployment and have nothing better to do with my time than stay up late and write fanfics. Anyway, hope you enjoy this chapter of my fic.
