On Kagome's way to school she gets a strange feeling. "I sense something...in the well house.." She turns back and walks to the well house. She slides the door open and finds the well open! She walks forward but sees nothing. "Kagome!" Kagome hears a very cheerful voice that she recognizes. She walks toward the well and looks down it to see the little kitsune shippo jumping up and down. Shippo jumps up and stands on the side of the well.

Kagome gasps surprisingly. "Shippo what are you doing here!?" She looks at him curiously. "There's trouble back in the feutal-era, please Kagome you must come back!" Shippo begs despirately. "Besides I don't think Inuyasha knows why you left and..I don't know." Shippo says sadly as he runs out of things to tell Kagome so she'll come back. Kagome turns away from Shippo. "How is Inuyasha?" She says softly. "He's doing er...okay. He's been quiet lately because you left without saying anything. He thought you were going to come back the next morning so he sat by the well all day and night. He soon figured out that you weren't going to come back. When he tried to come and get you he told us it was sealed off and it wouldn't let him pass. He hasn't really said anything since." Shippo explains to Kagome. "I'm sorry shippo it's something you wouldn't understand at this point." Kagome says trying to fight back tears.

*No one can protect you Kikyo! I won't let Naraku have you..I promise you * Kagome hears that phrase in her head over and over again. every night that memorie haunts her. "I'll go.." She says her voice breaking. Her and Shippo stand in silence for a few minutes. "Are you afraid to see him?" Shippo asks breaking the silence. Kagome turns around shocked and looks down at Shippo. "What?!" She says startled by shippo's question. "I mean..you took off without saying anything.." Shippo says then looks up at her as she stares down at the ground. "You mean he's mad at me?" She asks coldly. "Not mad..more like hurt..." Shippo says. Kagome gasps. *Inuyasha..Hurt because of me...* Kagome looks at Shippo with a rather confident expression on her face. "I'll go." She says smiling. Shippo smiles "YAY!" He says loudly."Shippo meet me by Bone eater's well..I have to go to school." She tells him and walks out of the wellhouse to go to school.


While Kagome is in school Shippo goes back to the feutal-Era and talks with Inuyasha, Sango, and Miroku. "She's really changed guys!" Shippo tells them. "Changed? How?" Inuyasha says in his smart ass voice. "She looks different! she's so pretty!!" Shippos eyes sparkle. Inuyash slaps Shippo upside the head. "Why you little-" Inuyasha gets interupted by Sango. "what's wrong Inuyasha..JEALOUS?" Sango says in her taunting voice.

Inuyasha's eyebrow twitches "No! NO! jealous...uh..no!" Inuyasha denies. "whatever you say Inuyasha. " Miroku says rolling his eyes. Inuyasha growls underneath his breath his dog-like ears twitching over and over. "Grr..I'll be back later! I need time to think!" Inuyasha yells.

Shippo stands up rubbing his head. Where Inuyasha left a lump. "Oww! Inuyasha you know your in love with Kagome why don't you just admit it already!!" Shippo screams still rubbing his head. "Er.Shut up you!" Inuyasha yells and walks off cursing.

He sits by the well and thinks *Do I love Kagome?* Inuyasha has flashbacks of when he confessed his love for Kikyo. He remembers seeing Kagome appear. At least it looked like Kagome. Inuyasha stands up. *Thats why Kagome left without saying good-bye..She saw everything happen between Kikyo and I...She must've been hurt.. but does that mean Kagome is in love with me?* Inuyasha pauses at the question he just asked himself and looks down the deep well *I miss you..Kagome .* Inuyasha sighs heavily and heads back to the village.

He walks into Kieade's hut and plops down on the ground not saying a word. Just stareing off into nothing. Kieade walks into the hut and looks down at Inuyasha. She could sense something is wrong so she sits down on the floor indian style across from Inuyasha.

Inuyasha continues stareing off into nothingness and then begins to think *Why...why do I feel like this..I'm a demon I don't want to have these human feelings anymore..do I?* Inuyasha's thoughts are soon forgotten as Kieade's sturn voice is heard " something troubling ye Inuyasha?" Kieade asks curiously "No..." He sighs. "Yes..I want to see Kagome but-" "But ye betrayed her. "Says Kieade before Inuyasha could finish his sentence.

"Inuyasha ye loved me sister Kikyo but she's gone. She may be here but she is nothing more then a sculpture..The real Kikyo died long ago Kagome is real Inuyasha. Follow ye heart it will lead ye in the right direction." Kieade tells him. She then walks out of the hut.
