Inuyasha and Koga reach the village. Koga tells Sango and Miroku about what happened while Inuyasha carries Kagome inside of the hut. He kneels down beside her. The blood doesn't stop. "Miroku?" Inuyasha calls. Miroku walks into the hut alongside Sango, Shippo and Koga. Miroku and Sango both gasp at the site of Kagome. "What happened?!?" Shippo says crying. " Do you know any kind of...healing spell?" Inuyasha asks Miroku. Miroku moves closer to Kagome examining her. "I can stop the bleeding. She won't die..don't worrie Inuyasha." Miroku begins his Incantation. Soon Kagomes wounds are healed. leaving only scars. The scar thats going down her left eye will last forever as for the scar on her arm and her stomach. Inuyasha cups her cheek softly stroking her jaw line with his thumb. Miroku and Sango both leave and Koga stands there. Inuyasha stares at him. "How is she?" Koga asks "Miroku healed her...we should be thanking him." Inuyasha says calmly. Kagome wimpers lightly. And Koga and Inuyasha both look down at her startled. "Inu..yasha" Kagome says weakly. Inuyasha smiles down at her "Good morning beautiful" Kouga says sweetly. Inuyasha turns toward Kouga with his right eyebrow raised and growls lightly.

"Inuyasha..." Kagome says softly. Inuyasha looks at Kagome "Can you please leave..I kind of want to talk to Koga...alone." Inuyasha falls to the ground in shock his left leg twitching "WHAT?!" Inuyasha says wide eyed. "See I knew you had feelings for...for..this stupid wolf!"stares at Inuyasha coldy. Koga then begins pushing Inuyasha out of the hut. "Yeah whatever get out mutt." Inuyasha backhands Koga who gets knocked to the floor. "Don't push me!..Grr..FINE I'll leave but I'll be sitting right outside the hut" Inuyasha points at Koga "Don't try anything funny!" He says as he walks out cursing Miroku blinks stareing at Inuyasha as he walks out of the hut "Can we say..Jealous?" He says quietly hopeing Inuyasha doesn't hear because he doesn't want to end up having a welch going across his cheek like Koga.

Inuyasha sits outside of the hut *why does she..suddenly want to talk to him...alone? Maybe she really is starting to develope feelings for him...grr...wait! why the hell should I care! that stupid girl can do what she wants..* Inuyasha gets so wrapped up in his thoughts he accidently screams out loud "WHAT'S TAKING THEM SO LONG!?" He yells in frustaration. He then peeks inside of the hut,

Koga looks down at Kagome smiling. "Koga I'd like to thank you..for helping me out, I couldn't have done it without you or Inuyasha. Thats why i'd like to ask you.. would you please journey with us? I want you nearby.." Koga looks down at her and says "Sure..of course I'll come with you." Inuyasha lets go of the cloth doorway and thinks *she wants him nearby...? but....why? If this has something to do with getting back at me its not working!* Inuyasha stares down at the ground "If it isn't working then...why am i hurting so much?.." He asks himself. He folds his arms and continues to get wrapped up in his thoughts "why does she need him nearby...she has me..doesnt that count for anything?" Inuyasha gets up and walks through the forest and from afar he sees Bone eater's well.

He walks over by it and sits down looking into it like he does mostly when Kagome goes home and he is to afraid to admit that he misses her and wants her to come back to him. "Kagome..." He says to himself as if she was mad at him and she went home back to her own time. "Are you okay?" Inuyasha turns around in shock to see Kagome standing there not even 2 feet away from him. "Kagome...your wounds are still bad...what are you doing up?" Kagome ignores his question and walks over by Inuyasha and sits down right next to him.

"Inuyasha why'd you come for me?...I mean why'd you follow me into the forest..." Kagome says calmly. "Because I had to.." He says. "I told you NOT to!" She says loudly. Inuyasha looks at Kagome confused. He notices the rims of her eyes full of unshed tears.Tears that seemed to have been their for eternity but she did not want anyone to see her pain.She didn't want to feel it.So she kept them bottled up inside of her eyes. "Kagome it was...a trap." Inuyasha says still looking at her bewildered. " I know that..I had a feeling it was...I told you not to follow because-" Kagome looks at Inuyasha the crystal tears now forming a canyon down her pale cheeks " I didn't want to be saved.." She says lightly. Inuyasha looks at her in great confusion now "What is she saying?...Does she want to die?"

Inuyasha focus in on Kagomes brown eyes that used to be filled with light..but now seem dark and empty. He tries to read her. Tries to understand what she is saying but he can't. He grabs Kagomes petite hand gentley. " I saved you because I promised to protect you, and I couldn't bare it if something were to happen to you.." Kagome slowly pulls her hand away from Inuyasha's grasp and lets it rest on the grass. "No Inuyasha...you must be mistaking... you promised Kikyo...and I am not Kikyo..You promised her two years ago.And I never forgot that day." Kagome stands up now crying hystaricaly. "Do you know what it felt like..to watch you and her...I saw you I saw it all happen! it felt like my heart was ripped apart! and it felt like it could never mend again!!!" Kagome covers her face with her hands and lets the tears fall into her palms.
