Inuyasha's eyes widened as he remembered when he promised Kikyo that he could only protect her and no one else. "Hahaha!" Kagome quickly turns around to see Kikyo. "Kikyo.." Inuyasha says quietly. "Inuyasha belongs to me!" Kikyo shouts as she reaches her hand out to Inuyasha.
Kagome turns around, she looks into Inuyasha's golden eyes filled with terror. They suddenly turn a crimson red and his pupils become white. "Kill Kagome Inuyasha." Kikyo says perswaysively. Inuyasha reaches for Tuesiga and pulls it out of it's metal sheath. Kagome trembles and steps back tears swelling in her beautiful eyes anew. "Inuyasha...you must stop.." Kagome says willingly. Inuyasha continues to step forward toward Kagome. "He cannot here you." Kikyo explains.
Kagome looks at Kikyo from the corner of her eye. Her unique eyes become very glossy from the crystal tears swelling up onto the rims of her eyes. "Let him go.." Kagome says demandingly. "NO! Inuyasha is mine! and you stole him from me!" Kikyo yells her face filled with fury. Kagome gasps. "What?" She says her eyes still on Inuyasha who looks rather demonic. Kikyo grins evily. "You mean you don't love him? hmph you do. If you didn't you wouldn't risk everything for a stupid half demon like this.." Kagome turns to face Kikyo "Yes I do love him! I will love him more then you will ever!" Kagome admits.
Kikyo laughs. "He doesn't love you I'm afraid..It hurts to get your heartbroken but he is still deeply in love with me and no one wil EVER take my place..not even my mere reincarnation.." Kikyo says with her bangs covering her eyes. "You're wrong...I may not ever be able to fill the hole in his heart you left him..but I can try!" Kagome says.Kikyo looks at Kagome crystal tears being born in her eyes, living on her cheeks and dying on her chin. "The same incident that happened fifty years ago is going to repeat itself..THIS IS HOW IT FEELS!" Kikyo screams. Kagome turns back toward Inuyasha who is now only inches away from her. "Kagome..run.." Inuyasha says softly.
He lifts the sword trying hard not to harm Kagome "Inuyasha!" Kagome screams as she runs into his arms and embraces him softly. Inuyasha grinds the sword into Kagome's back and he watches her as she falls to the ground slowly grabbing onto his kimotos "Inuyasha" she says weakly her eyes losing all the life she has in them. Her eyes that used to be filled wiht light and happiness are now replaced with darkness and death. Kagome struggles to hold on to Inuyasha's kimotos as she falls to the ground in pain. She finally gives up and falls to the ground laying in her own pool of blood.
Kikyo laughs wickedly "Kill her Inuyasha..do it now!" Kikyo demands. Inuyasha has flash backs of Kagome in his mind. Of their journey together last year and how she would always put up with his dumb temper tantrums. Inuyasha lifts his sword ready to finish Kagome off. He tries to pull back his hand from doing it but he has no control over what he is doing. "No!" He screams as he forces himself to drop the teusiga. He falls to the ground holding himself up on one knee his bangs covering his eyes. "No..I won't kill Kagome...I love her" He says. He looks up at Kikyo his eyes the sot gold that they have always been.
Kikyo looks at Inuyasha shocked and sad that he said it and that it was true..Inuyasha loved Kagome more then anyone or anything. "What?!" Kikyo says with her eyes widening in shock. "I lover her.." Inuyasha says once again looking furious "And you tried to set me against her!" Inuyasha says as he gets up and begins walking towards her.Those words that Inuyasha just said pour into Kagome's mind. Her eyes seem to have life in them again. She stares up at the indigo sky still unable to move *Those words...he loves me?* "It can't be.." Kagome says getting mixed up in her thoughts and saying that out loud. Kikyo changes her glance from Inuyasha to Kagome and she throws an energy ball at her. "No!" Inuyasha cries as he jumps in front of the paralized Kagome. The teusiga glows as it blocks the energy ball and destroys it. Inuyasha moves away from Kagome and walks toward Kikyo. He jumps up and swings teusiga at Kikyo. A black mist appears as he is about to hit her and when it dissappears Kikyo is no were to be found.
Inuyasha puts the teusiga back in it's sheath and he runs to Kagome who is still on the ground lifeless *what have I done?* He kneels beside her trembling body. "Kagome i'm so sorry.." He says fighting back the tears that begin to form in his eyes. "It's okay.." She says weakly tears falling from her eyes and hitting the ground softly. Inuyasha trembles in pain. Kagome tries to say something but she is to weak to make the words out and she blacks out once again. Inuyasha hold her in his arms and heads back to the village the wind russeling his hair everywhere as he walks.
"Kagome you need to go home..back to your own time, if something were to happen to you I don't know what I would do..why do you stay here?" Inuyasha says to himself. "Because I like being with you.."Kagome say softly smiling lightly. Inuyasha gasps shockingly not knowing that she heard him but the shocked expression he has turns into a warm smile.
