It's easier to go

Chapter 19 Bondings

Rin hugged the strange girl to her and softly asked what her name was.

"Kagome" the girl sobbed back to her.

Rin whispered that they needed to get inside, so Kagome slowly got up and followed the little girl.

When they got inside Kagome directed Rin to her own room, making the little girl understand she was a guest of this house.

When they finally got to her room, Kagome ran to the bed and literally let herself fall on it.She cried even harder and burried her head in the pillows.

It was not that much Sesshoumaru but the thing he asked for. Total surrender.

How was supposed to do that? How was she to give her trust to him, if she did not even trust herself?

All these years she had thought it was her, all these years they made her believe it was her, until one night, when she had seen all in her dreams. She saw the truth and

she realised that they did not mean punishment but destruction.

Running away was one thing but building up her trust was another. She could not say she trusted Sesshoumaru if she didn't even trust herself with staying here with him.

A sweet but yet demanding voice interrupted her thoughts.

"Please tell me what's wrong." Rin told her quietly.

Somehow Kagome found herself talking without even realising it.

"I can't surrender to Sesshoumaru, can't trust him."an ironic

laugh escaped her. "I can't even trust myself."

"What has Sesshoumaru asked from you?"

" Dominance, he wants to own me, my very beeing."

Rin thought about it for a minute before asking her again.

"What did exactly happen?"

"We kissed but he wanted to show me throughout that kiss that I was his, totaly at his mercy."

Sess actually kissed her! Wow! He really must feel something for her.

"It's not the kiss it's the fact that he asked me to surrender, to surrender to him."

Kagome slowly turned around and Rin could see how red and tired her eyes were. Tears clouded them, making the blue orbs, be a mirror of the wide and dark ocean.

The problem was not surrendering itself, but agreeing to be conquered.Sesshoumaru had already conquered her, already possesed her, the only thing he had asked for now was her agnowledgement.

Rin walked to her and wiped away her tears.

" You know the truth, don't think about it, let your soul

do as it wishes."

With that Rin turned and silently left the room and Kagome to their own silence.

Kagome looked out the window and saw how black surrounded her. Darkness endfulged her. She again threw her body down and went to sleep.

Sesshoumaru and Shippou made their way back in total silence. When they did get back though , it was already night.

The only thing they didn't expect to see though was a little girl running to them.

She stopped before Sesshoumaru and hugged his midsection tight.

"Sess!" she squeeled.

Shippou watched the picture trying hard not to laugh his head off.Sesshoumaru was starting to get blue because of the lack of air.

"Rin I missed you to, but if you're not going to let me go, I'm probably going to end up in the hospital because of a lack of oxygen." Sesshoumaru told her truthfully.

Rin let him go and then looked at him with a sparkle in her eyes he had only seen when she knew something bad, something bad he did.

"Kissing Kagome though didn't give you a lack of oxygen now did it?"

Right then Shippou dubbled over laughing , the girl was actually creeping mister `egotistical- jerk` as Kagome called him being scared.

Rin turned to the boy with surprised eyes but she recovered

quickly and went over to him holding out her hand.

"Hi I'm Rin, who are you?"she asked in her usual sweet voice.

Shippou held his stomach because of the little pain the laughing had given him and slowly took her hand.

"I'm Shippou" he answered back.

"How do you know of Kagome?"Sesshoumaru suddenly asked.

"She's in the house, but right now she wants to be alone.

Well I'm starving mind if we three eat?" Rin answered.

Sesshoumaru only nodded and went to the house.

Rin and Shippou shrugged and started to talk about school and games they liked to play.

Dinner went on rather quickly and Sesshoumaru told the children to go to sleep.

Why did she run? It wasn't the kiss, we kissed before, so what was it? She started to cry like I was going to take away her most valuable thing. Damn it , girl! I'm sick of cutting you slack, the first time you pulled the stiffening stunt on me, it didn't work and it surely won't work now!

I want answers!Answers which she fears to give. Very well I'll talk then!

Kagome woke when she heard a door slamming shut.

When she opened her eyes she saw Sesshoumaru standing before her in all his glory.

The magical blue light of the moon, gave him an etheral glow. Pale skin, shimmered light blue, red lips, were now a blood tainted blue and amber eyes were black.

The look in them sent shivers down her spine.

Determination. The only which rested in them.

"I'm going to tell you something and then I will leave you alone.Don't interrupt me until I say so, got that?" he asked in his ice- voice.

Kagome nodded .

Sesshoumaru glared at her with no mercy what so ever.

" I will always be there for you, but now I am no help to you what so ever.

If you think your problems are with me then you're wrong.Think and clear your thoughts and then come to me.I will wait.But I will not wait for ever."

With these words said Sesshoumaru turned on his heels only to be stopped by the one thing he didn't suspect.

Leave he can't leave, he can't leave me to!Then she remembered : " The one you love will be the one who you will fear of leaving, even though his presence would destroy you."

"Kagome Higurashi has died a long time ago."
