~Flashbacks~

Chapter 1

New girl, yet familiar

When Inuyasha reached to school, he wondered if he should tell his friends about the weird dream he had that night.

`If I tell them, they'll think I'm stupid or going crazy," he thought, he could imagine his friends giving him weird looks and it might do some damage to his reputation. "Nah… I'll just forget about it."

Inuyasha enter his classroom to find the class going wild because the teacher wasn't there. He saw his best friends waving at him and decided to join them. There were 2 girls and three guys there. Sango was a tall girl wearing a pink shirt and white pants. The other girl Rin, she was just plain pink. She was also Sesshoumaru's, Inuyasha's "half brother" girlfriend and no one likes to mess with him. The other two boys were Miroku and Kouga. They had been friends for almost 3 years. They were known as the `Popular" group and everyone respected them. The whole class became quiet when the English teacher came in. Mr. Myoga was a strict teacher and most people fear him because of his last job of being a wrestler (yes I know, very ooc but o well…). However, Inuyasha didn't care about him at all. Sure he gets a lot of detention but not once had the teacher hit him, at least not hard enough to get fired.

Mr. Myoga eyed every student in his class and almost instantly they all sat straight and upright, all except for Inuyasha, Kouga and Sesshoumaru. Mr. Myoga was used to this, it was always the same everyday and nothing ever happened that never happened before. Except today was different.

"Class." Mr. Myoga began with a very low and deep voice, "We have a new student, please welcome Kagome Higurashi." Everyone looked up, a new student coming in wasn't something they experience often, but almost all new comers started out as no bodies. Inuyasha didn't really give a fuck to who it was, he just looked the other way and pretended not to be interested. Just then a girl walked in with a light blue shirt that had something written like, "I'm not what you think." And black jean pants. She went to the front of the class and bowed to everyone. You could hear whispers that the boys were making and some girls though she was just pretty. Miroku whistle with his fingers and got a whack by Sango. Rin and Kouga just smiled while Sesshoumaru show no emotion what so ever. However, Inuyasha was dumbfounded, that gorgeous girl standing in the front looked so familiar but he couldn't figure out where he had seen her before. He just shrugged and continued on to listen to what she had to say.

"Hello, my name is Kagome Higurashi, I am 17 and I have moved from Tokyo, Japan. It is a great honor to meet you all today." She smiled and looked at the teacher. The teacher nodded his head and pointed to a seat beside Sango and in front of Inuyasha. (Oh the seating plan is E S R K E=Empty. Okay ppl?)

K M Sess I

She smiled and bowed then walked towards the desk she was assigned. Mr. Myoga lips curved upwards a bit, she was a sweet girl, so young and innocent. She had already made a good impression of herself to him, he was going to think this class was going to be more interesting with her around. As she walked to her seat, boys were whistling at her and asking her question she took no concern of answering. As she sat down on her seat, Sango smiled at her and stuck out her hand over Rin so she could shake with her, but Kagome just looked at the hand, confusion filled her eyes. Sango signed and retrieved her hand. Inuyasha stared at the girl, never had he seen someone who was so innocent yet she gave emotionless answers to everything and even looked like she was a doll. Rin clapped her hands and gave a big grin to Kagome. Rin was in a cheerful mood and she bounces questions at her and Kagome looked at her like she was insane or something. When Rin finished, Kagome opened her mouth but closed it right after, she didn't hear one question, so how was she suppose to answer?

Inuyasha, deciding that this girl was pretty interesting tried to get the girl to say something. He reached over and tapped her on the shoulder, she turned around and made an innocent face or more of a face that read, "Go on, say what you have to say, I DARE YOU!!" Inuyasha gulped and his mind went blank, he had forgotten why he was tapping on her shoulder in the first place. He shook his head and looked at his desk, feeling stupid. Kagome just looked at, a small smile graced her lips. But it was quickly gone when Mr. Myoga started teaching the class.

Inuyasha didn't hear one single word the teacher was saying, the only thing in his mind was about the new girl, Kagome. He KNEW he had seen her before, but he couldn't remember where in the first place. Inuyasha kept staring at the back of Kagome's head until the teacher asked Inuyasha a question. Since Inuyasha was so busy thinking about the girl, he failed to notice the teacher waiting for him to answer the question. After what seemed like 5 minutes, Mr. Myoga walked up to Inuyasha's desk and slammed it with his hand as hard as he could, and he slammed it pretty damn hard. At the sudden noise that was in front of him, he flinched at the sound and nearly fell off his seat. He glared up to the teacher who was smirking and decided to repeat the question. Inuyasha grumbled and answer it, he could hear some of his classmates giggling and snickering at him. Some even dare to laugh facing him and Inuyasha gave them a cold glare.

Kagome laughed silently at Inuyasha's stupidity and she smiled to herself at that. "That's just good news for me. This wouldn't be as hard as I thought it would." She whispered to herself. She turned around to get a quick glace at Inuyasha and saw that he was staring back at her, Inuyasha noticed her looking at him and decided to gaze at the blackboard and pretend to listen to the teacher. Kagome smirked and turned around. `Not as hard at all.' She thought.

~LUNCH~ (the joy!)

Inuyasha grumbled as he sat at the table he had been sitting for as long as he remembered. No one was there yet which was good for him because he wanted to think. He couldn't believe what had happened during English, never in his life had he felt so stupid, he was caught staring by Kagome, and she probably thought he was a stalker or something. He signed, he had already screwed up and he didn't do much either. He wanted to know who the hell she was and why does he have this feeling like they know each other. He had thought that if they became friends that she might tell him how he knows her. As Inuyasha thought about that for a moment, he realized that it was a stupid idea, becoming her friend so he knows who she was and how he knows her? Inuyasha signed again, all this thinking was hurting his head. He didn't like to think a lot, usually when he had a problem; he would just ignore it or ask someone to do the thinking for him. As he was staring off in space, Miroku and the gang came and he decided to do something funny, he smacked Inuyasha's back and it startle him causing him to fall backwards. Miroku laughed hysterically and stared at his other friends to see if they were laughing too. They just stared somewhere else. Inuyasha growled, he didn't like it when people made fun of him.

"What the hell is wrong with you Miroku?" Inuyasha yelled. Miroku just laughed and smiled pathetically at his friend.

"What were you thinking, Inuyasha? Finally saw a girl who you like and want? Are you going to ask her out?" He smirked at his friend. Inuyasha just gave him an annoyed look.

"No Miroku, that's your job. You're the guy running around groping every damn girl walking around. I bet all the girls in this school have been touched by you at least once." Inuyasha stood up brushing the dirt on his shirt.

"Ahh, yes, all except for one." He said happily. He pointed at the girl and Inuyasha followed his finger. Miroku was pointing at Kagome who was looking around for a seat. Miroku clapped happily and grinned even bigger. "So, should I complete my record of touching every girl in this school?" Miroku started to walk towards Kagome only to be stopped by Inuyasha, he knocked Miroku straight at the head and Miroku fell down.

"Don't you DARE touch Kagome you little pervert!" Inuyasha barked.

"Sorry Inuyasha didn't know you got your eyes on the little beauty. Wouldn't blame you, she has a nice curved body and check out her-.." Miroku never got the chance to finish because Inuyasha punched him hard in the head. Sometimes he wonder how Miroku still got higher marks than him in school, shouldn't he have some brain damage from all those slaps he got from the girls? Oh well, it wasn't important right now.

Sango and Rin went over to Inuyasha, smiling happily they watched him. Inuyasha just stared back at them. "What?" They giggled and pointed to Kagome who was still having trouble looking for a seat, or she was looking for someone. They knew they saw Inuyasha staring at her in class and probably likes her. So asking her over for lunch seems to be a goof way to become friends right? Inuyasha just stared at them, not really understanding what they were trying to make him do.

"So? Kagome is standing there, what do you want me to do?" Sango, made a face, `How can boys be so naïve?' she thought. Rin just signed and Sango smacked Inuyasha on the back.

"She's looking for a seat, why don't you go ask her to come over?" Sango explained. "Now GO!!" she pushed him but Inuyasha just turned around. "And why would I do that?"

"Because you being the nice smart kind-hearted person you are, helping people is your job." Sango replied sarcastically and Rin just giggled. Inuyasha just gave her a skeptical. "I was being sarcastic. If not for yourself, can't you go over and tell her to come over for our sake?" Inuyasha raised an eyebrow, our sake? He looked at Rin who just stare back; Inuyasha had forgotten she was there in the first place.

"Why can't you go ask them for yourself? She's not my friend."

"Comon Inuyasha go ask her or Rin's going to get upset, and you know what that means." Inuyasha knew what that means; Sesshoumaru didn't like it when Rin gets upset, and things could get a little messy if he found out you made her sad.

"Feh, I'm not afraid of my brother." Inuyasha replied, but made his way over to Kagome.

"Sure, not afraid." Sango whispered to Rin who just laughed.

"That's mean, you might it sound like he's evil and heartless."

`He is.' Thought Sango. Kouga and Sesshoumaru joined the crew and they looked around for Inuyasha, when they couldn't find him, Kouga spoke up.

"Where's Inuyasha?"

"Over there, he's asking Kagome to come over to sit with us." Said Rin cheerfully.

Kouga followed her finger to see Kagome talking to Inuyasha. He stared at her fine body and her dark black hair. `Nice…' Miroku finally woke up and seeing his friends all around him asked them for a little help. Kouga and the other people finally notice Miroku was there all a long. "What the hell are you doing down there Miroku?" Kouga asked.

"I'm painting, now help me up." He replied sarcastically while Sango helped him up. Which was a big mistake because after he was up, she felt something rubbing on her ass. A vein popped up on her head and she slapped Miroku hard in the face and he went unconscious. Rin just laughed at Miroku's behavior, no matter how many times he got slapped, she found it funny because Miroku never touched her, for Sesshoumaru was always there.

Inuyasha went towards Kagome and she saw him coming towards her. When he reached there, he asked her if she wanted to join them for lunch.

"Sure, I'll love too." She replied willingly. As they began to walk towards the table, someone tapped on Kagome's shoulder. When she turned to see who it was, she saw this girl with really short shorts and a tanktop. To Kagome's point of view, she looked very much as a slut and made a face of disgust to the girl in front of her. Kagome was just about to turn around and follow Inuyasha when the girl decided to make her speech.

"If I were YOU, I would rethink about hanging around or even being close to Inuyasha." The girl said dangerously, "Inu's MINE, so stay away from him."

Kagome snorted, "He just asked me to come over to sit with his friends you slut. If he's your boy friend then you should keep a better eye on him eh?" She turned around and saw that Inuyasha was already ahead of her so she continued walking in her own pace. The girl growled at Kagome, hating it when people ignore her or turn their backs to her. She wasn't going to let this "Ka-Go-Me" girl make her feel stupid AND steal her soon-to-be-boyfriend. She gritted and muttered something in an angered voice.

"YOU have been warned." And with that, she jumped on Kagome. The rest of her friends followed her and they all began to attack Kagome.

When Inuyasha reached to the table, everyone asked where Kagome was, Inuyasha turned around but noticed that she wasn't there. "She was right here a moment ago." A loud stream could be heard from across the field (yes, they eat outside on benches.)

"What's going on?" yelled Sango; see glanced over to where the sound was made only to see a group of people forming around the place.

"I don't know Sango, may be we should go over there and check it out, and is that ok Sess?" Rin turned around to see him nod. They quickly ran over there to see what the problem was. When they reached there, something happened that none of them would ever thought would happen. Kagome was fighting against 6 people. But, it wasn't how many people she was fighting surprised them, she wasn't even fighting back. Instead she was sitting on the ground crossed legged and stared evilly into the girl's eyes that Kagome had punched hard in the face. Her friends crowed around their fallen friend and glared daggers at Kagome. The girl on the ground and a big red mark on her face stood up, she walked over to Kagome who was also standing now. The girl clutched her teeth and stood in a fighting stance. Kagome just laughed.

"Oh, so you're going to fight now huh? Lets see what you can do. Go on, I DARE you." Kagome's words were filled with venom, but the girl wasn't afraid, instead she went in for an attack. Straight into Kagome's face.

Actually, this wasn't suppose to happen, but my friend wanted this to happen and she the one who kind of gave me the idea of writing a fic, so I just I changed it. O well. Its okay now, but its gets better later. I have the whole story in my head, its just writing it down is the hard part. O well.
