YAY!! Another chapter already!! I type this one and chapter 2 on the same day too. SWEET!!! O well, I hope you like the chapter! Remember. READ and REVIEW!! The more reviews I get, the faster I will update and the more I will write! So remember people! ^-^

Chapter 3

Caught

The next day, Kagome was away. Some people said she had the flu others said she was playing hooky. Most people didn't really care. Inuyasha and his friends met at the school where they always do, except this time, there was no Kouga. Inuyasha signed, so Kouga did really want Kagome as a girl friend. May be he should let him have her. `NO!! I will never give Kagome to that bastard, she deserves someone better.'

Sango and Rin looked around for Kouga and saw him walking towards the school. They waved but he ignored them. Rin frowned; she doesn't like getting ignored, so she decided to make herself stand out… but shouting.

"HEY!!! KOUGA!!" she began jumping up and down waving her hands frantically to get his attention, but he still overlooked Rin and entered the school. Rin got sad, may be he didn't see her? Was she not loud enough? Rin felt hurt, she didn't like it when a friend hated her. Sango was confused about Kouga's behavior also.

"What's up with Kouga? Did you guys have a fight and Miroku's again?"

"Why my dear Sango, When did we ever have a fight?" Miroku replied calmly.

"Well… that time when Inuyasha got a higher mark than you and he kept rubbing it in your face. When you try to grope Rin and Sesshoumaru got pissed at you. When Inuyasha and Kouga both tried out for the football team and only one of you guys could make it and neither of you guys did. And what about the time when…"

"Ok Sango, we get it now." Inuyasha replied. Miroku turned to the almost crying Rin, `Man, she is one cry baby.' He thought. But he decided to try out something.

"Rin? Do you need a hug?" Miroku asked with a smirk. Rin nodded her head and ran over to where Sesshoumaru was and hugged him. Sango just laughed at his stupid chance. She saw Miroku walking closer to her and before she knew it, felt something rubbing on her ass.

"YOU PERV!!! GET AWAY!!" Sango screamed whiled slapping Miroku. Which cause Rin to giggle. Sango huffed and turned to Inuyasha.

"So what happened to make Kouga stay away from us?" Sango continued.

"He and Inuyasha are going to compete with each other to see who can win Kagome's heart." Miroku replied, only to get knocked down by Inuyasha.

"I do not like Kagome. Get it through your head Miroku." Sango and Rin just laughed, they both knew Inuyasha liked Kagome, no matter what he said.

"Come on Rin." Sesshoumaru began slowly. "Class is going to start soon."

"'KAY!! Wait for me Sesshy!!" Rin ran after him and so did the rest of the gang.

The day pasted fairly quickly and Inuyasha wanted to go check to see if Kagome was ok. But there was one problem; he didn't know where she lived. He signed and walked back to his aunt's house. Sess was going to Rin's house and Miroku had to stay after school for something. When he was walking by himself, he had more time to think with no interruption. First his mind was on Kagome, then it wandered off to the little girl he saw the other night. She looked so sad. So lonely. Inuyasha couldn't help but feel sorry for the little girl. Inuyasha, study her figure once again, that night, his room was really dark and he couldn't see the girl very carefully. All he saw was the little girl was wearing a dress. That's was all. He couldn't see her face. But even if he did, what was that suppose to do? Help him identify who the little girl was? Inuyasha shook his head. This is ridiculous, why on earth does he want to know about the little girl? It's not like he would actually know her. He signed; he didn't even know her name. He could have asked "What's your name?" but instead he asked who she was. Inuyasha felt stupid. Why think so much about a little girl you have no fucking idea who the hell she is.

Because Inuyasha, your curious. Just like a little puppy.

`Shut up! Who told you can talk?'

No one did Inuyasha; I control myself and you too.

`You do not control me. I control myself.'

Whatever Inuyasha. Just remember, you want to know who this little girl is, stop denying it.

`God, what the hell is wrong with me? I'm arguing with myself. I think I need more sleep.' Inuyasha slowly walked home, alone.

The next day Kagome returned and Inuyasha smiled at that. It was a nice day today because Kouga was away. He smiled to himself. `A good day indeed.'

Their first class was again with Mr. Myoga, the English teacher. And that class went by soooooooooooooo slooooooooooooowly. The last class they had was History and luckily all Inuyasha friends and Kagome was there. Too bad Kikyo was there too.

Their history teacher was Miss Shinde and she was a really nice and sweet teacher.

The teacher handed out some paper and explained something to the class.

"Ok class, today we are going to learn and talk about the horrible accident that happened around 4 years ago. This story is a true story and it's about a little girl around the age of 13." Kagome skim through the story and when she was almost done, her eyes were so wide that they might fall out. She clutched onto her head to try to ease the pain that happened to come out of thin air. She wrote something down on the paper and stopped after she was done.

"This story takes place in a little village near a river. Has anyone else heard of this story?" Shinde asked. No one nodded their head and Kagome just looked down onto her desk hands clutching onto her head and the paper.

"Ok then, then lets all read through the story. It said that the little girl died because her parents didn't let her marry the one person she loved so she killed herself the next day." Inuyasha laughed, `What kind of idiot would kill themselves for not marrying someone they love? Kill themselves because they will never be together and live by each other again. Stupid girl"

"No, that's not right…" Kagome started near tears now.

"Excuse me Kagome? I can't quite hear you. May you speak up?" Shinde asked.

"IT'S NOT RIGHT! THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN!" Kagome screamed and the tears were slowly flowing down her creamy face. Everyone stared at her wide eyed, even Inuyasha. Kagome realized what she had just said and tried to stop crying but the tears wouldn't leave.

"Excuse me Miss Shinde" Kagome said, her face covered by the bangs of her hair and quickly stepped out of the classroom. Whispers could be heard around the classroom while Shinde was shocked and looked like she was going to cry too. Seeing Kagome crying like that broke her heart.

"Excuse me too class, please wait here for me." And with that, she went after Kagome. Sango and Rin looked worried. What happened? Why was Kagome crying? They both wanted to know.

Inuyasha, concern written all over his face wanted to go out to find Kagome but something on Kagome's desk caught his eyes. She had written something. So he picked it up and looked at it.

`What the? She wrote something on the story.' He read it to himself.

"That's not true. THAT'S NOT TRUE!!!! The girl didn't kill herself, she drowned, SHE DROWNED! Who wrote this crap? The little drowned on the boat and it was…" and that was it. Kagome never finished it. Inuyasha's eyes burned while he was reading the paper. Why was this so familiar? Why was it? Why? He needed it to. He listed the key points of the story.

Couldn't marry someone she wanted. Inuyasha eyes widen again. That dream. The dream he had not to long ago. The little girl couldn't marry the boy she loved. So that night she and her lover traveled on a boat and she drowned. The girl drowned. A 13 year old girl, soaked from head to toes. Inuyasha nearly chocked when he thought of his nice though. A 13 year old girl, soaked from head to toes, just like the little girl in his room that night. Inuyasha shivered. Can it be? The girl that died that day is haunting his aunt's house now? Inuyasha shook his head. No, he shouldn't thing about it. Just like it all flow out of his head. But it wouldn't get out. It was engraved into his head. And it wouldn't leave until to knows the truth. But did he want to know? Something could happen because of it. What should he do?

Sango looked at Inuyasha and with concern eyes. A rush of different emotion had flowed in and out of his eyes. She reached her hand out and touched Inuyasha lightly on the arm. Inuyasha was startled and jumped from her touch. He relaxed when he found out it was only Sango who touch him. Not some ghost.

Shinde came back to the classroom and she was crying a bit herself.

"Kagome wasn't feeling well so I sent her home so I guess class is dismissed."

Roars and cheers could be heard from the classrooms and everyone left. Kikyo laughed a bit and grabbed the sheet of paper with the story.

`This will come in handy when I need ideas to torture Kagome.' She laughed evilly and left. Inuyasha was still so confused and walked hone slowly again. Once again, alone with his thoughts.

When Inuyasha reached to Mukire's cottage, he flopped down onto bed again. He signed and looked where the little fell onto the floor and then to the wall where she disappeared. That would explain a lot if she was a ghost so he had one of his question answered but then it would just be so freaky. Inuyasha's head started to hurt again so he decided to sleep. But all he dreamt about was Kagome crying and rushing to leave the room. Her crying broke his heart and he was so tempted to rush out there to comfort her. But now it was too late. But why did Kagome cry in the beginning?

During the night, Inuyasha woke up to someone crying. It sounded familiar. It sounded just like Kagome! He quickly grabbed a flashlight and ran outside. Searching frantically for where the source of the sound was. When he finally found it, he soon regretted it. There, right beside the river sat a crying little girl. He face was buried in her knees and she was sobbing loudly and uncontrollably. Inuyasha wanted to calm her but no words left his mouth. What could he do? The little girl kept crying and she started muttering something words. Inuyasha cocked hid head. Had she not realize he was there? He leaned closer to try to hear what she was saying. And it surprised him.

"How could you do this to me? Mommy! Daddy! I'm SORRY!! I should have listened to you. It's my fault you died! *sniff* I can't believe you did this to me, to my family."

She sobbed even louder now. Inuyasha was going to leave when she noticed him. Her eyes were as wide as golf balls. She looked scared and frightened. She was shaking and tried to say something but no words formed in her mouth.

Inuyasha looked at her shocked. What was she talking about? He needed to know. He saw the little girl get up but he shined the light onto her and yelled FREEZE! She froze but more tears came pouring down.

"I got caught…"

PS: Since my graduation is coming up soon, I have to focus on preparing it. Since, I'm the head of the decorating committee, I have to spend more time on drawing pictures and other stuff to so. I might not update for awhile, that's why I posted two on the same day. Don't worry; my grad is on a Monday so I'll start writing on Wednesday. Ok people, just telling it to you guys. BYE!
