Chapter 10

Rin's Party Part 2

"Talking"
'Thinking'
<Conscience>

(I hope you remember what happened last time.) If not, here's a bit of an uh… reminder thingy.

Inuyasha walked with her until a thought hit him. "So… who do you think went in as your name?" Inuyasha said and stopped when he saw Kagome stopped. Kagome thought for a moment. Who would use her name to get in? `Rin had said she invited everyone to the party except…' Kagome's eyes got wide as she looked at Inuyasha who looked back at her with wide eyes also.

"KIKYO!"

Now…

ON WITH THE STORY!!! (^^;; lol. Once again.)

"But why would Kikyo want to enter Rin's party anyways?" Kagome asked as she looked around to see if Kikyo was there.

"She wasn't invited so she's probably mad at Rin. We should tell her before Kikyo does anything stupid. But sneaking in was already stupid enough." Inuyasha answer back as he dragged Kagome to find Rin again. Kagome looked confused. "Why are you so upset about Kikyo sneaking in? I thought you liked her." Inuyasha stopped in his tracks and slowly turned to Kagome. His eye was twitching slightly as he glared at her. Kagome blinked. "What? Did I say something wrong?" Inuyasha continued to glare at her, how many damn times did he have to say it?

"Why do you still think I like Kikyo? I thought I told you I didn't not to long ago." Inuyasha stated. Kagome thought for a moment and placed one hand onto her chin to think. "When did you say that?" Kagome asked. "I probably forgot. Hehe... oops?" Inuyasha sighed and continued to go through the crowd looking for Rin. Whatever reason made Kikyo sneak in wasn't something good. He could tell it already.

Kagome stopped and puller back her arm from Inuyasha's clutches. She looked up at him with wide eyes. "What if it wasn't Kikyo? It could always be other people. It could be…" Kagome's eyes widen as emotion filled them. "Sonaki." Inuyasha laughed. "Aww come on Kagome! Do you really think he will be here? It's not like he knows your still alive right?" Inuyasha smiled and looked down at Kagome but instantly frowned when he saw Kagome's behavior.

Kagome stood there, not moving with her arms at each side of her body. Staring down at the ground saying nothing to Inuyasha. Her body became numb as the next thoughts came into mind. "But I'm REALLY sure its Kikyo who entered and not Sonaki. Besides, didn't the guard say the person who entered in your name was a girl?" Inuyasha quickly sputtered. He wasn't even sure of that was true himself. Kagome looked up to him with sad eyes. She looked like a lost little girl who can't find her mom. Inuyasha sighed. "Come on, lets go find Rin and tell her about it. Knowing her, she probably forgot about the whole "Someone entered as you" thingy." Inuyasha said as he dragged Kagome around to find Rin. She gave a light nod before she followed him. Uh… more like she let him drag her around. She didn't feel like doing anything anymore. Sonaki was near and she knew it. `But where is he' She thought.

Sango looked around; the whole place was crowded like a mall with 70% percent off sales. "Why in the world would Rin invite so many people anyways?" Sango muttered. She didn't even know most of these people. She couldn't even see the entrance anymore. "Great… I think I am lost in a birthday party. Neverless my own friends' party. I feel like such a goddamn idiot…" She sighed as an annoyed vein popped up onto her head. "And what did I ever do to deserve being stuck with YOU?!?" she screamed as she turned around to face Miroku grinning. "God is smiling down at you my dear." Miroku replied to her question. Sango groaned, where was Kagome anyways? "Hey Miroku, did you see if Kagome was here already? I wanted to give my present to Rin at the same time as her."

Miroku shook his head no. and smiled evilly as he eyed the huge crowd. `I can use this to my advantage." He thought and laughed a bit. "Hey Sango! I think I saw Kagome at the front doors of Rin's house!" Miroku told her and she quickly ran through the crowd, followed by a very happy Miroku. As they squeezed through the crowd Miroku let his hands wander around a bit and smiled mentally when no one hit him for what he was doing. Too bad for him when he tried to reach out for Sango, someone was always blocking him. He sighed. `Oh well, some things can't stay good forever.' He though sadly and quickly tried to follow Sango who was ahead of him by a lot.

Rin plopped down onto a chair, exhausted form greeting the guests who came to say happy birthday to her and that was almost everyone. `Now why did I even bother inviting so many people? I don't even know half of them.' Rin cried as she rubbed her head, trying to get away a headache that was starting to bug her. Sesshoumaru sat down next to her with a glass of cold water which she happily accepted. Rin sighed as she tried to get comfortable sitting in a position where it doesn't affect her headache.

"You ok? I could ask your mom for some Advil if you want." Sesshoumaru asked her. Rin shook her head and flashed a smile at him. "It's ok, I'm fine. Did you know your brother and Kagome came not to long ago?" Sesshoumaru nodded slightly. "There was some problem at the front, the guard was about to throw Kagome out." Rin said. "It would have been funny if it wasn't Kagome being thrown out on her friends' b-day party. Rin frowned slightly. What would have happened if Inuyasha haven't found her during that time? Sess looked over to Rin and patter her shoulder. "It's not your fault. So you mention that someone entered as Kagome. Who do you think it was." Rin eyes grew wide when she remember about that part. "Oh shoot! I almost forgot about that! Now what should I do?" Rin placed her hands on her cheeks and her elbows on her knees, thinking. `Now how am I supposed to solve this problem?' She thought. Just then, music was blasted through the speakers at Rin's house, covering the while place with wild music. Too bad Rin was seated next to the huge speakers. "AIIIIIIIIIIIE!!! WHO TURNED ON THE MUSIC??? DID THE PARTY ALREADY START?" Rin screamed, using her hands to block out the music. She didn't remember telling anyone to turn on the music. People had heard the music and began to start dancing instead of talking. Sesshoumaru grabbed her arm and guided her to her room to get some peace and quiet.

Rin groaned as she rubbed her head. The loud music had really affected her head. She flopped down onto her bed and sighed. "Sesshy, did you turn on the music?" Rin said quietly. "No, I didn't. I was with you remember?" He answered. "Oh yeah… may be it was Sango then. She knows where I keep the stuff anyways. Sesshoumaru started to leave the room. "I'll tell your mom how your feeling and ill bring you a cold glass of water. You sure you don't want an Advil?" He called over his shoulder. "Fine, I'll take one, the headache is getting worst and worst." Rin replied rubbing her head again. Sess nodded and left the room.

Rin closed her eyes. Finally, so peace and quiet. She sighed and clutched onto her blankets as the wind blew into her window, making her feel a bit chilly. Her mind wandered back to Inuyasha and Kagome and she smiled mentally. `They make such an adorable couple she though and laughed a bit. Regretting it right after when the pain hit her full face. Her eyes fluttered open. "Great," Rin said quietly, "I better not be in bed for the whole day on my birthday." She whispered to herself. She closed her eyes when another breeze blew in.

The sound of a door opening and closing was heard and Rin smiled. Sess was so nice to her. "Place them on my counter beside the bed Sess, I'll take it later and thanks." Rin could imagine him nodded and nearly giggled but her headache hurts a lot. She heard the door open and close again and she popped an eye to see if he was gone. When she found no one there she sat up and sighed. It was a good thing she got him to get an Advil, this headache was killing her. She reached over to the counter and picked up the glass and pill. She looked at the pill a bit before plopping it into her mouth and washing it down with some water.

`Strange' she thought. `I didn't think the Advil pill looked like that.' She let a breath out as she finished her glass of water. She sat down for a few minutes and another breeze blew by. "Darn… I should had asked Sess to closed the windows." She muttered as she got up to closed the windows. When she took a few steps, she wobbled a bit and her vision went blurry. "What the… heck?" She said out quietly. "Does Advil make you drowsy?" She asked to herself. She managed closed the window but as she walked back to her bed, her vision went completely blank and she fell forward. Landing on the ground she groaned from the pain. She felt herself drifting to sleep and she couldn't open her eyes anymore. The last thing she heard was a voice. It was laughing at her but it didn't sound like Sesshoumaru. Sounded very feminine. "Stupid fool." The voice said and Rin heard the person leave the room, locking it as she left. Rin was left lying on the floor of her locked room. "I wondered who that was." She asked softly before she fell asleep.

"HOLY SHIT!!! Who turned on the damn music this LOUD???" Inuyasha shouted covering his ears from the sound, Kagome doing the same. "I. THINK. THE. PARTY. HAS. OFFICALLY. STARTED!!!" She screamed back but she wouldn't be surprised if Inuyasha didn't hear her. She couldn't hear herself either. He turned to face her. "WHAAAT??? I CANT HEAR YOU!!! SPEAK LOUUUDER!!!" Inuyasha screamed back.

"I SAID- oh for crying out loud." she ran up towards the stairs where it seemed to be the only place where the people didn't dance. Luckily Inuyasha had followed her upstairs. "What the hell is going on? Now why would Rin blast the music at THIS volume?" Inuyasha grumbled. His ears still hurts like hell. "I don't know. Come on, we should go ask Rin." She grabbed his hand and ran upstairs only to bump into someone. "Aie! Sorry about that I wasn't wat- Sesshoumaru?" Kagome choked out. "W-what are you doing here? Where's Rin?" Sesshoumaru didn't bother answering her. "Do you guys know where Rin's parents are?" He asked. Inuyasha and Kagome shook their heads no. Sesshoumaru looked around again and walked back towards Rin's room. Kagome and Inu followed him to see what he was up to. He stopped at the door and Kagome cocked her head. "Why are we stopping?" She asked.

"Rin's in this room, she wasn't feeling to well." Sess answered. Kagome eyes got wide. "Rin's sick? On her birthday?" She quickly shoved Sess over and opened the door. But it wouldn't open. She tried again and again but the same thing happened, it wouldn't open. "Huh? Is something wrong with this door?" She asked to everyone. Sess looked at her. "The room is locked." Kagome froze when he heard Sess say the next words. "Rin had a headache so I don't think she would walk over to lock her door. And even if she tried, she would probably had not reached the door without falling over."

"What the hell is going on here?" Kagome demanded.

To be continued.

Well, that's all for now. I have to go to bed now. Its past my bedtime ^^;; anyways. See you guys next time! R & R!!! JA!
