A/n: well wasn't that chapter interesting? It just seems that Kurama always gets herself into trouble, but she's always gets herself out too. You gotta admit, she has really kickass swordsmanship.

Itazurana Kiss 2
Chapter: Unlikely Help
“Thank you so much!” I waved goodbye to the villagers and walked down the trail. Man…what a night. I thought about Akira and how she wanted my face. Well it was a compliment… in some twisted way.
I had been walking for about an hour or so. Since I didn't eat breakfast, I thought that I'd stop at a teahouse in the next passing village.
“What would you like, young lady?” The waiter asked me. “You got sake?” I reached into my undergarments and grabbed a coin. “Man lady, so early in the morning?” I smirked. “Need something to keep me up.” The waiter started to walk away, but stopped. “How old are you?” I cringed. “Do you know who I am?” I asked confidently. The waiter shook his head. “I'm Kurama Tokimara, princess of the southern lands.” The waiter's eyes widened. “You need to get home, milady!” My eyes also widened. “Say what?” He sat down in the chair across from me. “You're parents have been looking all over for you!” My eyes watered. “Crap!” He stood back up. “Take my horse, milady. She's in the stable outside.” I nodded and raced outside.
“Dammit horse, go!” I kicked the horse in his side. Finally, he began to move, but then stopped. “Okay horse, you're no help.” I jumped off of him and ran off.
What is wrong with me? I asked myself as I ran. Why didn't I just ride that horse? It's better than running! I seriously had no idea what had came over me at that moment. I just wanted to get home at that moment.
“Yo girl,” I heard a voice behind me say. I turned around and grimaced. “Not you again,” I muttered. Bankotsu's he-she friend Jakotsu and five other men stood before me. I noticed they had a vehicle and unsheathed Kiamu.
Hmm…maybe I could use them. “Yes me again,” I smiled. “You're looking for Bankotsu, aren't you?” Jakotsu walked up to me. “Yep. Where is he?” The rest of his friends walked up behind him. “Ah,” I said. “The gang's all here: Jakotsu, Renkotsu, Suikotsu, Mukotsu, Kyokotsu and Ginkotsu.” Jakotsu smirked. “I'm guessing big-brother told you all about us, all that time you guys spent together.” I shook my head sadly and sheathed Kiamu. “Actually, the first time I've seen Bankotsu in months was yesterday.”
Jakotsu motioned for me to get on the vehicle, which oddly was a member of their gang. “What're you doing, Jakotsu?” Renkotsu asked him skeptically. “She's going to take us to Bankotsu.” I shook my head. “I can't.” They all gasped. “WHAT???” Lazily, I climbed aboard Ginkotsu. “Sorry, but I gotta get back to my village. After that then I can take you to him.” They all looked at me like I was crazy. “See, I haven't been home in a while. Once I reassure them everything's alright, I need to find Inuyasha so I can steal his tetsuiga and break the barrier on Bankotsu's cell.” Jakotsu nodded, not feeling like hearing me explain myself. “C'mon, Kurama.”
On the machine/member of the band of seven, I was thinking about what to say to my parents. I found love! That's what I should say, but do you really think I'm that dumb?
“Hey, how much longer Jakotsu?” Jakotsu looked at me sternly. “If you don't want me to kill you right friggin here, you'd shut up.” I narrowed my eyes and pulled Kiamu closer to me. These guys were definitely untrustworthy. “No need to strike us, princess,” Renkotsu said to me. “Jakotsu wouldn't hurt you. Bankotsu would cut his head off.” Jakotsu trembled. “Y-yeah, thanks.” I still held my sword close.
Okay, back to me trying to think of something to say. Hmm, how about I explain the whole thing? I repetitively slapped myself in the head. What was I thinking? Maybe I should say that I'm fine, and I'll be back in a few days. No, they wouldn't buy that. UGH, this is so hard!
“Here we are,” I said uneasily as I stepped off Ginkotsu. I brushed off my kimono and stared up at my palace. “What're you waiting for?” Jakotsu called to me. I nodded and trotted up the many steps and into the main house.
“Hey, I'm home.” I said softly. I walked down the long hallway. Then I heard fast foot steps. “Kurama!” That was unmistakably my mother, followed by my father. “Where've you been, honey?!” My mother hugged me tightly. “I've been just staying at a friend's.” My father cut in. “We're so glad you're home, Kurama.” I nodded. “Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get somewhere. I'll be back in a couple of days.” Right when I was about to walk away, father stopped me. “You're not leaving again. Plus, you have training.” I sighed heavily. “Oh yes…that.” How was I supposed to get back to Jakotsu? This was going to be so troublesome.
