Sinkable Ground

Chapter 9

It's the last day of September and Kagome only had ten minutes left of Physics. Rin was going on and on about something, Inuyasha was carving something in the desk and Kagome was staring off into space.

It was the last class of the day and her, Sango and Miroku had planned to get together after their last class.

Unfortunately, Miroku had become re-acquainted with Inuyasha and the two of them were friends, so Miroku had to ask Inuyasha to come along.

Kagome had been meeting Kouga secretly every Wednesday and Friday at five am to watch the sun rise and just talk for the past three weeks, and Kagome was finding herself falling in love with Kouga.

It seemed Eri, Ayumi and Yuka had gone off on their own affairs. Spending less time with Kagome, due to her spending all her time with Sango or Rin or Kouga.

They were still friends with Kagome, but they hardly spent time together anymore.

"Excuse this interruption professors and students," the P.A. announced. "I have been reminded that the Halloween dance is coming up in one month and we are having you, the students, decorate the cafeteria, this is just a reminder. So be sure to come in costume. That is all."

"Oooh!" cried Rin, "A Halloween dance! Doesn't that sound great, Kagome?"

Kagome smiled and nodded, "Yeah, but I'm not sure about what I'd wear, though." Rin shrugged, "Who cares!! It's a dance! Dances are fun! Maybe Sesshy and I'll be able to dance!"

Kagome raised her eyebrows, "Who's Sesshy?" Rin's eyes widened, "Nobody! Uh, Sesshy is my, uh, teddy bear!" "I thought your teddy bear's name was Cookie Muffin?" Rin shook her head vigorously, "No, I, uh, changed it!"

Kagome rolled her eyes, "Sure."

Just then the bell rang and the sound of chairs screeching against the marble floor echoed through the room.

"Don't forget to read pages 24 through 38 for next week. Have a great weekend everyone," Professor Sitaru announced.

Everyone either mumbled a complaint or ignored her as they walked out of the room, between the yellow lines, of course.

Kagome saw Sango and Miroku talking with Ayame and she caught Sango's eye. The two girls smiled at each other, but quickly looked away before anyone would notice.

"Feh! Dances are so stupid!" Inuyasha grumbled on the way out behind Kagome.

Rin swatted him in the shoulder angrily, "Dances are great! Not stupid, Inuyasha! Your just boring, that's all!" Kagome laughed at Rin and ignored Inuyasha when he looked at her.

"Well, Kaggy baby," Rin joked, "I'll be seeing you later. I've got myself a friend to hang out with."

"Who, Sesshy?"

"Yep, wait, I mean, NO! Meanie!!!"

Rin stuck her tongue out at Kagome and disappeared from Kagome's sight.

Kagome made it to the elevator before too many people got on it, but sadly Inuyasha made it before the doors closed.

It was her, Hiten, Inuyasha and girl she didn't know who was holding hands and talking to Hiten.

"Hey, Yash, buddy, you coming to check out the bitches?" Hiten asked. Kagome rolled her eyes,

"Moron," she whispered in a sing song sort of voice.

"Nope," Inuyasha said, staring at the open doors of the elevator impatiently.

Hiten mumbled something then grabbed the rear of the girl beside him causing her to shriek with surprise then begin to madly kiss Hiten.

The two of them were grabbing each other and rubbing and bumping into the walls, and even Kagome and Inuyasha.

Hiten was moaning and sliding his hands up the girl's shirt, as he knocked into Kagome and caught her off guard.

"Oh, for God's sake, get a room!! We're in a bloody elevator!" Kagome cried.

But Hiten and the girl continued to make out.

The doors then closed and the elevator began to ascend.

The elevator stopped on floor three and two girls got on. They stared at Hiten and the girl and began to giggle.

Hiten lifted the girl around his waist and she straddled his hips as he sucked on her neck, trying to create a hickey.

The elevator stopped on floor five as the two girls got off and one boy got on.

Noticing Hiten sucking madly on the girl's lips, the boy quickly got off before the doors closed.

Inuyasha scoffed and looked in the other direction, pretending they weren't even there. While Kagome, on the other hand, was being pushed and bumped by the couple.

Hiten and the girl were turning and twisting. The girl who was attached to Hiten's waist was swung and knocked Kagome off her feet. She fell into Inuyasha who glared at her, but then realized it wasn't her fault.

Hiten began to move as he cupped the girl's bottom, making her moan in pleasure.

Kagome's back was leaning against Inuyasha's chest. She was leaning her head further against him and he was staring down at her, then at the teens making out.

The couple began to move towards Inuyasha and Kagome, Hiten dropped the girl and began massaging her breasts as he dove his tongue in and out of her mouth.

The girl was backed up against Kagome, who cornered Inuyasha in the elevator.

"Do you mind!?!" Kagome screamed, but the girl was being pushed forcefully into her, crushing Kagome between the girl and Inuyasha.

Kagome gave a little whimper out of pain as she felt Inuyasha grab her arm and move her.

Inuyasha moved Kagome out of his way as he pushed her into the corner, away from the couple who were still touching and feeling each other.

Inuyasha grabbed Hiten's shoulder and pushed him away from the girl, sending him fumbling into the opposite corner of the elevator. His lips were red and swollen from kissing so hard. The girl could barely stand properly, her hair was standing on end and her eyes were shining over with lust.

"Dude, stop! That's fucking sick!"

Hiten nodded and brought the girl towards his chest and whispered something in her ear that made her blush and giggle.

"You know what? Just take her to our room. I couldn't give a shit what you two do in there, as long as I don't see it."

"What about you Yash? Aren't you going to the room?" Inuyasha shook his head, "Going out."

Hiten nodded and began to quietly say things to the girl.

Inuyasha looked back at Kagome, who was staring back at him. She held her bag against her chest and looked at Inuyasha thankfully.

The doors opened and Kagome was the first to get out of there.

She ran to her room, unlocked the door and ran inside.

Kagome didn't realize she left the door open as she walked into her room. She opened her closet and took out a pink hooded sweatshirt that said "2 Cute 2 Care" and walked back into the living room.

Kagome faced the balcony and took her t-shirt off, she threw it to the floor and turned around in her bra.

Kagome screamed and tried to cover herself as she noticed Miroku and Sango standing in the doorway.

Realizing Kagome's state of dress, Sango pushed Miroku out of the room and locked the door.

Kagome quickly put on her sweatshirt and turned to Sango.

"Kagome!"

Kagome met Sango half way across the room and opened her arms for a hug.

"He saw me, didn't he!" Kagome cried. Sango sighed then shrugged, "I don't know, but judging by the look on his face he didn't."

Kagome's face was crimson, she was so embarrassed.

"Why did you leave the door open anyway!" Sango outburst. "I didn't think I left it open! I thought I closed it!"

Sango looked at Kagome's face and began to laugh. "It's not funny Sango!" Kagome cried, whacking her friend in the arm with her t-shirt in her hand.

Sango fell back on the couch and shouted her laughter. "It's not funny!!" Kagome yelled, but ended up laughing herself.

Kagome sat beside Sango and pushed her off the couch. Sango fell on the floor and began to laugh uncontrollably.

"Sango! Sango, my dear!! Let me in!! Sango!?!"

Kagome heard Miroku shouting and pounding on the door. She opened it and couldn't help but blush when she saw Miroku there.

"Help me control Sango, please?" Kagome pleaded.

Sango was curled in a ball clutching her sides and continuing to laugh.

Miroku raised his eyebrows and walked over to Sango. He kneeled beside her and grabbed her arms and raised them above her head. He then straddled her waist and leaned over her.

Kagome was now the one laughing, even if a blush was still visible on her cheeks.

Miroku leaned over and whispered something in Sango's ear. Sango screamed and tried to slap Miroku, but couldn't, he was holding her hands too firmly.

"Miroku!! You hentai!!! Let me go!!! I'm going to kill you!!!"

"What the hell is going on here!!!"

Kagome turned around to see Inuyasha standing in the open door.

He had changed into a black hooded sweatshirt that on the front said, "I like my girls with…" and it continued with something else on the back. Kagome did NOT want to know what it said.

Miroku looked up at Inuyasha, so did Sango. Kagome stood in front of him and looked away from him when he looked at her.

"Miroku!!!" Sango kneed Miroku in the balls, making him gasp and fall off her, clutching himself.

"Ow, Sango, the was, ow, harsh," Miroku gasped.

A vivid blush was visible on Sango's cheeks as she stood up.

"Hentai!" she hissed at Miroku.

Inuyasha rolled his eyes and Kagome smiled at Sango.

"So, where are we going?" Kagome asked. Sango shrugged and Inuyasha walked around her to help Miroku up.

"You perverted asshole," Inuyasha mumbled as Miroku stood. Miroku stood and grunted in pain then sat on the couch.

"You want anything to drink?" Kagome offered them.

"I'll have a Coke, thanks," Sango said.

"Yeah, me too," added Miroku.

"Got a beer?" Inuyasha asked.

Kagome sighed in annoyance, rolled her eyes and walked to the fridge to get two Cokes and a Sprite for herself.

"Idiot," Miroku snorted, "Are you that thick headed you think Kagome would carry beers in her fridge?"

Inuyasha walked to Miroku and punched him in the shoulder.

Kagome handed out the drinks and headed for the balcony.

Miroku had said something perverted to Sango, and he whacked Inuyasha in the head. So he was getting beaten by Sango and sworn at by Inuyasha.

Kagome was getting a headache, so she slipped outside and shut the glass door behind her.

"Kagome?"

Kagome looked down at the balcony after hearing someone yell her name. There was Kouga on the track.

Kagome was on the eighth level, how could Kouga recognize her from this high up?

"Hi, Kouga!" Kagome yelled back.

"I was wondering!" he shouted, "do you want to go get a pizza later!?!"

Kagome smiled, "Yeah! That'd be great!!" she yelled. "Great!! Um, I'll come by your room at eight, `kay!?!" "Yeah! That's fine!!" "Ok, I'll see you later!!"

Kouga left on the track, passing thirteen people to regain his position as first.

"Wow, he really IS fast," she said amazed.

Kagome's legs gave out and she grasped the railing so she wouldn't fall.

"Oh, my head," she moaned, "I shouldn't have yelled." Kagome sat on her knees and placed a hand on her forehead.

"I think I'm gonna be sick."

Kagome placed a hand over her mouth as she felt something moving in her stomach.

"Kagome! Open the door!" Kagome heard Sango banging on the door, calling to her.

But Kagome's legs couldn't move. Her legs were stuck.

"I can't!" she cried.

She placed her hand over her mouth again. Kagome felt something moving up from her stomach.

Something was inside her.

Kagome felt a shooting pain go through her front side. She cried out in pain and grimaced.

"Kagome!!!" Sango screamed.

The railing was suddenly ripped from the building and went tumbling down onto the track and parking lot.

"KAGOME!!!" Sango screamed again.

"Kagome!! Open this door, immediately!!" Miroku cried.

Kagome's legs were still bound together. She couldn't move.

`What's wrong with me?' Kagome's mind shouted in fear. `Why can't I move!?!'

The sky began to darken, and Kagome's head was spinning.

She couldn't see properly. Things were becoming blurred. She felt something slimy crawling up her throat. It felt like a worm, but it was too fat and it wasn't just slimy, it was furry at the same time.

"I'm gonna throw up!" Kagome cried.

She opened her mouth and began to retch over the side of the building. But it wasn't vomit which came up. It was spiders.

Daddy Long Legs, Black Widows, Jumping Spiders……………….and Tarantulas

`I'm barfing bugs!!'

Kagome screamed.

Her legs began to feel numb and she began to move closer to the edge.

She tried to move her body, but something was controlling her. She was being controlled.

Kagome looked over the edge and saw a girl with black hair standing next to a man with black hair with his hand outstretched.

He was staring at Kagome.

Literally AT Kagome. She felt his eyes touching her skin.

She closed her eyes and retched again. Bugs continued to fall over the edge.

Kagome's face was pale, her eyes were blood-shot. She felt as if her whole body was numb.

Kagome looked back at the man and girl.

She couldn't make them out anymore, her vision was becoming blurred.

"Fall….."

Kagome heard the man say. It echoed through her head.

`He WANTS me to fall! He's not going to help me!?!'

Kagome felt as if someone grabbed her ankle and was pulling her closer to the edge.

She felt the jagged concrete stabbing into her naked stomach, where her sweatshirt did not cover.

Kagome screamed out in pain as she saw the concrete painted in red.

"Fall………..die……"

"Help me," Kagome said hoarsely, "please, someone help me."

Just then, Kagome heard glass shattering and felt it fall on her back and cut her face.

"Kagome."

Kagome looked up to silver hair. The figure was blurred. She couldn't see who it was.

Her head was spinning. She couldn't think straight.

She felt a strong grasp on her wrists as she began to fall over the edge.

Kagome's head hit the concrete and all went black.

But even though Kagome was unconscious, she heard voices.

A man's voice echoed through her head that said,

"She has them, I can sense them nearby. But Inuyasha will protect her. That cursed hanyou. Kikyo, make sure Inuyasha is distracted next time."

But the girl responded,

"I will not help you hurt her. I will not hurt Inuyasha. I love him."

"If you disobey, you will die."

"I would rather die again then to see you hurt Inuyasha."

"Then you shall."

A/N: CLIFFIE!!!!!!!!!! Dun, dun, dun……..I hate it when people make Kikyo evil, it's stupid, cuz she really isn't evil. I like it when it's Kagome against Kikyo, it makes things interesting. I'll update soon. R/R plz!!!!!!!!!! Hope u enjoyed it!!!
