Hey guys. Sorry the last chapter was so short. But I was tired and it was late. Ok. So you guys can just get over it for right now. Sniper of death and dreaming girl seemed to dislike it very much though. But this next chapter is going to be long and you guys will finally be able to know who the daddy is. Oh by the way if you people who dislike the way my story is going then give me some suggestions on what to do with it.

And kikyo hater, you will find out who the daddy is in this chapter.

chapter 7: evil miko revealed

Kayome was sitting in the field looking at the sunset. Miroku had been made to lie down and rest while watched over by a worried Sango. Fira sat next to her curled in a ball.

Inuyasha walked over to her and sat down.

"You ok, Kayome?" he asked.

"Ya i'm ok. It's hard to believe that my mother was here. I…I wish she was here now."

"Me too." Replied Inu.

Kayome's eyes had started to sting and a single tear fell down her cheek.

Inuyasha wiped it away and put an arm around her.

"We will start to search for your father tomorrow. Alright?"

"Alright." Said Kayome snuggling into the curve of inu's arm.

She fell asleep soon afterwards and Inu just sat there, holding her close to himself.

That night, Kayome had a dream about her mother…

Kayome stood in the middle of a huge field. The green grass waved in the wind as the golden sun set behind the mountains. A silver outlined woman was walking toward her.

"Kayome," it said. Kayome squinted against the light and saw the figure of her mother.

"M-mom?" she questioned.

The woman nodded and smiled at her daughter.

"Is it really you?" she asked, confused at the moment.

"Yes it is me Kayome. I may be dead but I can still visit you in dreams." She said holding out her arms for her daughter.

Kayome hesitated then ran to her embrace.

"Mom!"

"Shh, I'm here sweetheart, I'm here."

Kagome frowned and looked at the girl.

"Have you met your father yet?"

Kayome looked up at her and answered, "Inuyasha is going to help me find him. We will start our journey tomorrow."

This only made kagome frown more.

"Why would Inuyasha go looking for something he already knew about?" she asked aloud.

"What do you mean mom?"

"Inuyasha knows who your father is. He was there when I died. This is very strange. You need to wake up and confront Inuyasha. Do you understand?"

Kayome nodded and stepped back from her mother.

"I will see you again soon my child. Good bye for now."

Kayome bolted up and looked around. It was already morning. She got out of the sleeping bag and stepped out into the sun.

"Fira where is Inuyasha?" she asked aloud.

`I saw him walk into the forest. The others were getting ready to wake you. We are leaving soon.' Replied the young fox demon.

"Thank you." She said walking at a brisk pace she went into the forest to find Inu.

"Inuyasha!" she called out.

He turned around and smiled at her. "Your up."

"You know who my father is don't you? You all know who he is. He was there when kagome died. Why didn't you tell me you knew?" she question, glaring at the hanyou.

"I-I ment to but I wanted to get to know you…" his sentence was interrupted by the screech of a demon. It came into view and Inuyasha drew tetsuisaiga(I don't know how to spell it) from its sheath.

"Kikyo! Take Kayome and run!" kikyo had been sitting in a tree when Kayome had stormed into the clearing.

She jumped down now and grabbed Kayome by the wrist, pulling her into a run.

She kept running till they came to a cliff. She stopped and flung Kayome nearly to the edge of the drop off.

"Be careful! I could have gone over the edge."

Kikyo smiled, "that's the point." She walked toward the girl and flung her over the edge. Kayome held on to the ledge for dear life. Kikyo bent down and grabbed hold of her hands.

"Can I tell you a secret Kayome? Naraku did not kill your mother…I did." She said.

Kayome looked horrified, "And now i'm going to kill you. Fare well."

Kikyo threw her off the edge and watched as the girl fell to her death.

Shortly after ward Inuyasha ran to the drop off.

"Kikyo what happened?" he asked urgently.

"She fell over the edge Inu. I tried to save her but I-I couldn't hang on." She burst into tears with the last word.

Sango, Miroku, Shippo, Kilala, and fira glared at kikyo. They knew what had really happened to her.

"God's pray she is still alive Sango." Said Miroku.

"Yes we must find her." Replied Sango. Shippo sat nodding his head.
