Hey people, sorry I haven't updated in a long time but I did have some excuse. My computer had a virus on it and then with all the finals coming up for the end of the quarter ya know. I had a lot on my plate so I had no time for this. But now I'm on break and it's good to be typing again. So anyway I guess I'll get on with the story.

By the way: disclaimer; I don't own the iy characters but I do own Kayome. So this is probably the only one I'll do so anyways…

Chapter 9:from human to demon

Kayome got out of Rikku's arms and stared at the man before her.

"You are my father?"

"Yes I am your father."

Kayome had some questions now, but her headache was so bad that she couldn't quiet get the sentence right.

"Do you want to talk about anything?"

"Ya I do. Why didn't you ever come to see me? Why weren't you ever there for me? Mom was dead and to me so are you!" she glared at him for a second and an older wolf demon came over to stand next to her.

"Kouga I thought the child died. That's what you told us."

"Ya I know. I had to leave you in the modern time because that's what your mother wanted."

"You know what it's like to have no parents growing up how could you do that to your only daughter?"

Kouga stared at the ground and didn't say anything.

"Kouga?" rikku was so very confused now. Kouga was like a father to him. His mother abandoned him and Kouga had been showing him the ways to survive. He was now a pack member.

"Your right I should have been there…" he couldn't finish his sentence though.

"Your Damn Right! You should have been there for me." Tears stung her eyes and she ran out of the cave as fast as she could. Many of the wolves followed her. Not hunting her, just running with her.

"Man I really screwed up." He said sitting on the ground.

"Yes you did Kouga. You messed it up really bad." Said the older wolf.

"Ya I know. I should go after her."

"No I don't think you should. According to her, your dead. Didn't you hear?"

Kayome ran for a good 2 miles in a very short amount of time. She was so upset and nothing she could think of made it better.

Everyone had lied to her.

She stopped at the top of a hill and looked down. It was pretty steep and covered with rocks and other such things. So Kayome decided she wouldn't go down it.

"Are you ok?" asked a male voice?"

Kayome turned around and looked at the person. He had long wavy black hair and was very tall, even somewhat handsome.

"Yes I am fine."

"Oh really. Then why is your face stained with tears?" he asked with a smile.

"I was crying."

"Oh I see. Can I show you something?"

"I guess so." She replied.

"Well you are a demon. I can smell your blood let me show you." He put a hand on her side and it glowed a bright pink. He took his hand away and in it was a small pink jewel. "Now watch."

Kayome herself started to glow pink. A look of pain crossed her face as she transformed.

It was over as fast as it had come.

Kayome stood before the man as a transformed demon. She still had long wavy black hair but now it had silver highlights in it. Her finger and toenails were now an ice blue. She had an abnormally long white wolf tail, silver colored wolf ears on top of her head, and she had light blue eye shadow like make up on her eyes. (ya know like sango's)

She was breathing kinda hard and looking at herself.

"See you're a demon. Not a human. This was restraining you from becoming your true form." He held up a small pink jewel for her to see.

"This is called the shikon no tama. Keep it safe all right. All sorts of demons are after it."

The man handed the jewel back and smiled.

"I had better go. Maybe I will see you again Kayome."

"t. All sorts of demons are after it."

The man handed the jewel back and smiled.

"Ya ok. I hope so." She smiled at him. He started to walk away when Kayome realized she hadn't gotten his name.

"Maybe you will figure it out." he smiled and continued on his way.

Kouga and the others were waiting for Kayome to return. Little did they know that the demon Kayome would be coming back.

"Someone is coming Kouga. I don't think it's your daughter though." Said a wolf youkai, standing up.

"Don't worry it's me." Said Kayome, walking into the cave before anyone could say anything.

The youkai were whistling at the newly transformed Kayome.

"Shut up you dirty animals!" she shouted at them.

"Hey baby your one of us dirty animals now." Shouted a wolf demon.

Kayome realized she was one. God what a change.

She sat down at the back of the cave but as soon as she did, she heard the voice of Inuyasha.

"Were is she Kouga?!?!" he yelled.

"I have no clue what you're talking about Inuyasha."

"Don't play dumb with me wolf turd. I know she's here and god damnit I want to see her."

"Well I'm sorry half breed. She ain't here." Kouga yelled back.

Kayome walked out of the cave again, to many claps and howls, and saw the gang trying to get into the cave.

"What's going on?" she asked.

"Kayome is that you?" Shippo asked.

She looked at herself, "The last time I checked it was me." She answered.

"Oh yay! I thought you died when you went over the cliff." He said jumping on to her shoulder. (being the small little creature that he is.)

Kayome thought for a second then remembered.

"You threw me over." She said pointing to kikyo.

"I would never do that. Inuyasha don't believe that nasty little vermin." Defended kikyo.

"You killed kagome too." Continued Kayome.

"You killed my mother you bitch and then you blamed it on Naraku. So that Inuyasha would fall in love with you again."

Kayome didn't know how she knew that kikyo and Inuyasha used to be together. Its like the information just came to her.

"She is right kikyo." Said an unknown male's voice.

Kayome looked up into the trees and saw what she was looking for.

"Is that you?" she asked.

"Yes and I have something I want to tell you. Please meet me at the… your fox will tell. Please come alone."

Just then fira leaped from the tree and into Kayome's arms.

Kayome he wants you to meet him in the burnt fields. I'll show you were it is. But don't let anyone follow you. KILALA!

Sango's fire cat leaped out of her arms and over to the little 2 tailed fox.

What can I do for ya? She asked.

We need you to keep the gang busy why'll I fly her to the right spot ok. I'll cover up the scent so that they can't find it to. All right?

Ya ok.

The plan was all set. Fira transformed, as did Kilala. Kayome jumped on fira's back and as they took off Inuyasha tried to follow but Kilala stopped him.

"Kilala, what the hell?! Let me pass." He yelled at her.

Kilala shook her head.

"Damnit!"
