Chapter : Secret meeting

Kayome and Fira were flying high in the air, heading to the north.

Fira is that man I met Naraku?

Yes that is him. But he didn't kill your mother. U know that right?

Ya, kikyo killed my mother and I will get her back for what she did.

15 minutes later they landed in a burnt field. (Hence the name)

"Wow this is pretty sad." She said looking around.

"Ya it was the final battle. When I was defeated."

"But you weren't the one that was supposed to be defeated were you?" Kayome asked looking at him.

"Ya but ya know things happen." he said smiling.

"Ya I guess."

Inuyasha and the others waited for kayome's return outside of the cave. Kikyo was fidgeting a lot.

"Why r u so tense kikyo?" asked Inu.

"I'm not."

"Yes you r. I can smell your fear said Shippo."

Kilala sat in front of all of them keeping them from running after Kayome.

"C'mon Kilala let me pass." Begged Inuyasha.

But before Kilala could sign no Kayome came riding in on Fira, Naraku sitting behind her.

"Naraku! You-you died." Said Sango.

"No wait!" Kayome said jumping off and holding her hands out to stop them on account of they all got their weapons out, ready to open up a can whoop ass!!

But they kind of lowered their guard when she told them to stop.

"What do you mean Kayome? He's the one that killed Kagome. He is the one that needs to pay!" Inuyasha yelled at her.

"NO!! Your just to blind to see all the lies that kikyo feeds you ever day! She told me herself that she killed my mother when she tried to me! U just don't see!"

Kayome had tears running down her face. The fact that someone could be so blind made her ill. She didn't understand why her mother had gone thru this pain, Inuyasha seemed to be drawn to the heartache kikyo caused like a moth to the flame.

"Kikyo is that true?" Inu asked.

"Inuyasha you can't believe this little lying wretch over me…could you?" kikyo had on a fake look of sadness on her face.

"You bitch! How could you lie to him! My mother was his best friend and you got jealous so u gat rid of her!" Kayome was ready to go pound the clay slut but Naraku put a hand on her shoulder and stopped her.

"Kikyo u didn't answer the question. Did you kill kagome?" Miroku asked.

Kikyo hesitated… "Yes ok, yes. I killed the bitch and I'm glad I did. And I would have killed her too but it didn't work. I will get her though make no mistake!"

Kayome leap on to her and squeezed her throat. They were on the ground and people were trying to get Kayome off of kikyo but every time they pulled kayome's hands would hold tighter.

"This is for what you have put every one thru!" she yelled.

Kikyo was nearly unconscious and Kayome had death on her mind.

KAYOME! Let go of her.

Fira was speaking.

"Fine but I will be the one to kill her!" she let go and stood up.

"You are so lucky that my fox is understanding and merciful or you would be dead. And I promise that you will die." She had fresh tears streaming down her face. "I promise."

She turned away and walked toward the forest.

"Were are you going?" Shippo called after her.

"I'm going home. I need time to think." she put a hand on her head and continued walking, not looking back.

"My daughter seems pretty distraut don't you think Inuyasha?"

"Yes kouga, I do. This is a lot for me to handle to. Kikyo killed kagome and Naraku is inosent."

"Wait a second! What about all the other stuff he did? All the killings and stuff!?" sango hollered.

"Ya what about that?"

"Well I'll tell you," Naraku said sitting down on the dirt, "Kikyo took care of onigomo who was not as evil as every one thought. She sacrificed his body and then controlled me with her miko powers. When she died part of her soul went to kagome but some remained with me. So inside of me was the evil miko. She was looking for the reincarnation of herself. now don't ask me why she didn't just wish herself back to full health with the jewel. I think it was because she had bigger plans with it. anyways. She controlled the old witch and had her create a new body for kikyo. Then I was still controlled and on ly resently have I been freed. As a matter of fact I believe that it was Kayome who freed me. I don't know how but…"
