End of A relationship?

Kagome & Sesshomaru waited for the pups to return, they were over an hour late and Sesshomaru was assuming the worse.

“Sesshy they could be happy together” Kagome hinted. He frowned.

`The only reason they're together is because of you mate'.

“This Sesshomaru will not have Rin married before her 21st summer” Sesshomaru said.

“It is up to them, we cannot hold them back” Kagome said but Sesshomaru begged to differ.

“They should be back” Sesshomaru said.

“Why, it's only been 2 hours” Kagome objected.

“Young pups need to be in watchful eye of their parents” Sesshomaru said determined.

“Kanna, can you show me Shippo and Rin?” Kagome asked. Kanna flashed her mirror at them.

“Shippo, this is beautiful” Rin exclaimed. IT was a bracelet made of many colorful beads.

“Sir, how much is that bracelet” Shippo asked. “10 coins” the man replied.

“Here” Shippo said handing him 10.

“Oh Shippo, thanks” Rin kissed him on the cheek.

“Thanks” Kagome dismissed her.

“They're shopping, give them time” She whispered.

“Mate, this Sesshomaru will not give them more time” He huffed.

“Why do you say `this Sesshomaru' when you talk about yourself” Kagome asked.

“That is how this Sesshomaru was taught to talk” He said.

“Well most people say I, why don't you try it” Kagome suggested.

“Why” Sesshomaru asked.

“I'd please me very much” Kagome smiled.

“Ok, This Ses- I love you” He declared. Kagome was so happy that she kissed him gently on the lips. “I” He said it felt strange but he continued.

“I… worry about Rin, I don't want her moving too fast” Sesshomaru murmured.

“Of course, I worry about Shippo, he's my son and I want him to stay a kid forever” She said. She rested her head on his shoulder.

“Lord Sesshomaru, Lady Kagome, Rin and Shippo have returned” Kagura announced. Sesshomaru rose swiftly.

“Fluffy, don't scare them” Kagome called out.

He sniffed Shippo.

`Fear, anxiety, and good he is really afraid of me'.

He sniffed Rin. `Pleasure and Arousal comes from her' He didn't like that.

“Rin you smell aroused” Sesshomaru said.

“No, Rin's not” Rin lied.

“Rin, do not lie to me” Sesshomaru demanded.

“Sorry Milord” Rin lowered her head.

“Why are you aroused?” Inuyasha asked.

“No reason” Rin lied.

“Rin you are still lying, until you tell me the truth, Shippo will remain on lockdown” Sesshomaru said. With his strong grip and speed, he grabbed Shippo up.

“Remain still” He ordered, showing his poisonous dripping claws.

Shippo tensed up.

“Milord please do not hurt Shippo” Rin cried out.

“Sesshomaru let Shippo go please” Kagome whined. IT slightly hurt Sesshomaru to hear her whine.

“Shippo, Rin is sorry, she knows it's not your fault” Rin apologized.

“Explain what happened?” Shippo begged.

“Rin cannot” Rin looked away quickly.

“Sess let him go, it's not his fault” Kagome said, grabbing hold of his arm.

“Sorry mate, but I must” was all he said as he managed to get away from her grip.

“Stop or you'll be purified” Kagome threatened. She formed a ball of energy in her hands.

“You can't Lady Kagome, you'll hurt Shippo” Rin said. She too was very upset.

“Don't do it, he's my son” Kagome cried.

But Sesshomaru didn't say anything; He went to the basement and put a powerful barrier around it.

“I want him out” Kagome was now crying. It hurt Sango and Inuyasha to know that they couldn't stop her from crying.

Sesshomaru reached out to hug her but she backed away. When he continued to get closer, she summoned a barrier around herself.

“Leave her be, she's upset” Kagura said. Sango walked over.

“Kagome, he'll release Shippo, but you have to convince him” She whispered.

After a couple of minutes to think it over, Kagome collapsed the barrier.

“Sessy, please release Shippo, he's innocent” Kagome whispered. Sess didn't say anything. Just then Kouga appeared.

“I was in the area and I smelt your tears” He said.

“Sess locked Shippo into the basement” She cried, Kouga hugged her.

“I'm sure that he'll release him” He reassured.

`Stupid dogs always hurt Kagome'.

“Sesshomaru, let Shippo go now” Kagome ordered.

“You will not order this Sesshomaru around” He growled.

“If you will not, I am leaving with Kouga” Kagome said.

She was scary; she was gritting her teeth and clenching her fists. Sesshomaru was at a loss, if he let Shippo go, Rin wouldn't explain her pleasure but Kagome was threatening to leave and with another male.

“You will not leave” He said calmly.

“Kouga, will you take me away?” Kagome asked.

He looked at both of them, though Sesshomaru could hurt him, he doubt that he would with Kagome right there.

“Sure Lady Kagome” Kouga said softly. He turned around and kneeled down.

Kagome took this as a sign to get on his back and in a flash, she was gone with Kouga.

Once Kouga and Kagome got back to the group, Ginta & others members of the wolf gang tribe appeared.

“Kouga, why do you have Lady Kagome, isn't she Lord Sesshomaru's mate” 1 member asked.

“I am just taking a little break for now” Kagome announced.

“But you still wear his mark” Someone pointed out.

“If you do anything inappropriate it will burn on you and Sesshomaru” Ginta said. Kagome knew the mark connected them but she didn't know it was that strong.

“Will you let me go get her?” Inuyasha begged.

“Kagome will return soon” Sango said.

“I highly doubt that she'll want to stay there long” Miroku added.

“Kagome will be back under a week” Inuyasha said.

“How would you know?” Sango asked.

“She wants Sesshomaru too badly” Inuyasha smirked. Sesshomaru was listening in a separate room. He walked down the basement and let the barrier down so he could walk into it.

“Shippo, did you get Rin aroused?” Sesshomaru asked.

“No” Shippo said quickly, getting off the floor.

`He's not lying'

“Do you know why Rin is aroused?” He asked.

“No” Shippo repeated.

`Still telling the truth'

“Did Rin ever leave your side?” He questioned.

“Once, to use the bathroom” Shippo said.

`He was innocent, Kagome was telling the truth'

“Go to your room” He ordered and with that Sesshomaru walked back upstairs.

Day 2

Kagome awoke sleepily.

“Kouga, I need to use the bathroom” She whispered. Kouga went over to her to help her up.

“Kouga, maybe having Kagome here is a bad thing” 1 wolf said.

“Why is that?” Kouga snapped.

“She's another demons' mate, a powerful demon who could kill us all” they exclaimed.

`I'm becoming a problem, Kouga's pack doesn't want me' Kagome walked back in.

“I'm going back to sleep” She said as she climbed back into the pile of furs.

`She seems upset and weary, I wonder if she heard'.

“She will remain here until she says she wants to go back” Kouga said.

After that he refused to speak more about it or let anyone else say anything. Kagome did overhear the whole conversation and decided to go back the next day.

“Demon Slayer, I need your help” Sesshomaru said. Though he hated the idea of asking, he needed it.

“What Sesshomaru?” Sango asked. She stopped once she realized she didn't say Lord.

“I will excuse your mistake for now, I need you to ask Rin why she was aroused” He said.

“Sure Lord Sesshomaru” Sango said, glad that he was nice for once. She walked into Rin's room.

“Rin, I need to talk to you” Sango said.

“Yes Lady Sango” Rin said.

“Why were you aroused?” She asked.

“It's embarrassing” Rin blushed.

“You can trust me” Sango insisted. “Rin accidentally saw people rutting and Rin got to thinking that … maybe Rin and Shippo would do that one day” Rin confessed.

“It's alright Rin” Sango smiled.

“But it's not, Rin made Kagome leave and Shippo get locked up” Rin whined.

“Don't worry, Sesshomaru just released Shippo and Kagome will be back soon” Sango told her. Rin silently cheered.

“Kouga, I'll be going back tomorrow” Kagome announced at dinner.

“Why, I'm sure the Inu lord hasn't changed” Kouga said.

“He's my mate & I need him” Kagome replied.

“You can have me” Kouga argued.

“If you won't take me back, then I'll walk” Kagome insisted.

Kouga finally agreed. “Tomorrow morning” Kagome said, going to bed early.

“Demon slayer, tell me what did Rin say” Sesshomaru said.

“It's not really something you'll want to here” Sango stated.

“Do not try my patience, tell me now” Sesshomaru demanded.

“If you hurt me, Kagome will never forgive you” Sango said bravely.

“Do not drag my mate into it” He said.

“She was my friend before she became your mate” Sango argued.

“Rin was aroused because she saw people rutting” Sango mumbled. Sesshomaru then felt bad, for pushing Kagome to the edge and locking Shippo up but it was something he had to do.

~Kouga & Kagome~

“Kouga let's go” Kagome said whining.

“Lady Kagome, please stay” Ginta begged. Kouga was much happier while she was there and didn't bother the group much either.

“I must go, I wouldn't want Sesshomaru coming here” Kagome teased.

Kouga helped her onto his back.

“I smell a wolf & Kagome” Inuyasha said. Sesshomaru walked outside with Shippo, Rin, Sango and Miroku.

“Wolf Shit” Inuyasha greeted.

“Mangy mutt” Kouga shot back.

“Mom” Rin & Shippo ran over to hug her.

“I missed you guys” She said kissing each one on the top of their heads.

“Sango, Miroku, Inuyasha” Kagome exclaimed, purposely skipping over Sesshomaru. She hugged them all.

“I'm exhausted, I'll be in my room” Kagome said. She went to another room in Rin's wing.

“Sorry Inus but I gotta run” Kouga said sprinting off.

“Sesshomaru try apologizing to Kagome, It'll work” Sango suggested.

Sesshomaru walked off to the gardens, ignoring her comment. Kagome slept restlessly in her room. Being all alone, it was too quiet. She moved constantly in the bed, after an hour of trying, Kagome got up and left the room.

IT was around noon and almost everyone was outside.

“Kagome” Sango called out.

“Yes” Kagome replied.

“Are you ok?' She asked.

“Yeah, why wouldn't I be?” Kagome wondered.

“You left and then ignored fluffy when you returned” Sango answered.

“Oh, that, I'm fine, I gotta go” then she raced down the hall, into the study, Sesshomaru wasn't there. (Huge Surprise, in every other chapter that she goes into the study, he's always there). Looking around on the desk, she found a scroll from one of the neighboring lands.

Lord Sesshomaru, Lord of the Western Lands,

Lady Paulina & Prince Marcos will be arriving within a few months, under a year's time, please find suitable rooming for the pair, they will stay for a short period of time.

`How long did he know about these visitors'

Sesshomaru came into the study, “Explain this” Kagome said holding the scroll.

“Why are you in here?' He asked.

“You invited another family here?” Kagome questioned.

“The Northern lands are under attack from the Southern and are also plagued with diseases, the lady and prince of the lands were sent off to the Eastern lands, but the wolves can not keep them forever” Sesshomaru said.

“When did Shippo get released” Kagome asked.

“Yesterday” Sesshomaru answered.

“Why was Rin aroused?” Kagome wondered.

“She saw people rutting” Sesshomaru said.

“Oh” was all Kagome could say.

“Want to join me for dinner?” He asked.

“Where?” Kagome asked.

“My room” Sesshomaru said.

“I'd love to” Kagome cheered.

`Why am I so happy, he locked Shippo away but he did release him and he seems sorry'.

“Lady Kagome, the springs are ready” Kagura announced.

“Kagura, please fetch dinner for the 2 of us, in my room” Sesshomaru said. Kagura nodded and got out.

“See ya” Kagome said. She grabbed up her things, shampoo, soap and her clothes. He secretly followed.

Kagome walked slowly towards the springs.

`I know he is following me, I hope he enjoys this little show'

She placed her things around the outside of the spring. Then she went on to take off her shirt and bra, to reveal her perky round breasts. But Sesshomaru wasn't the only one watching her.

Masking her scent, Kikyo was watching. `So she chose Sesshomaru'.

Kagome bent over to take her shoes and socks off. Her skirt rose up to her butt.

`I feel another presence, it's faint and it's hard to say what it is but it's there'

Kagome quickly got into the water and washed carefully.

`She seems nervous'.

`Did she sense me; I should have known the masking wasn't enough'

“Sesshomaru” Kagome called out. He stepped out from the bushes.

“Who else is there?” She yelled. Kikyo decided to ran off. Kagome finished bathing (in front of Sesshomaru) and then quickly got dressed.

“Who was it?” Sesshomaru asked.

“They masked their scent and left, probably someone too close to here” Kagome calmed. Sesshomaru began to walk off & Kagome walked beside him, holding onto his hand.

“Do you love me?” Kagome asked.

“Yes, more than anything” Sesshomaru answered. They hurried to his room. A lovely meaty meal was served.

“So Sesshomaru, when are we going to meet the lady and prince of the Northern lands” Kagome asked.

“A few months, after the baby is born” Sesshomaru said.

“Why so late?” Kagome asked.

“I do not want another person here while you have the baby”
