Review:
Sango nodded and began to help Miroku gather the pieces that were scattered around. Once they had everything they took it about 5 miles away from the area they were in. Once they had everything in the field they had found. Miroku started the ritual to let the soul of the Oni pass onto the other world.
Miroku turned to Sango once he was done. “Let’s head back to Edo. We can wait there for Kagome, Inuyasha and Lord Sesshoumaru.” He took Sangos hand and began to lead her back to the village.

Sesshoumaru looked over at his brother and Kagome. If someone had told him that in two years he would have been mated to a ningen miko that was also mated to his half brother he would of killed them right then and not asked questions. Now he was realizing just what he missed as his brother grew up. Sesshoumaru made a vow to himself to keep both Kagome and Inuyasha safe at all times.
He noticed when Inuyasha was waking however the hanyou decided to keep his eyes closed and only buried his nose deeper in Kagome's hair to ward of the morning. Sesshoumaru quietly moved over behind Kagome since she was curled up to Inuyasha’s chest and layed down spooning up against her back.
Sesshoumaru had taken off his armor since his barrier was over the entrance and he could tell in time if there was a threat that needed him to replace his armor. When he pulled Kagome up to his chest he smirked when Inuyasha raised his head and looked over Kagome's shoulder.
Inuyasha shrugged and went back to inhaling Kagome's scent. Sesshoumaru buried his nose on the right side since Inuyasha had his nose buried on the left. He almost groaned when he scented that Kagome was getting close to her fertile time.
He knew that if his beast was chomping at the bit to be released then he knew that Inuyasha’s was as well. Vaguely he wondered how the half breed did kept himself in control since he was around her most of the time where as Sesshoumaru only seen her on occasion.
Soon both Inus were able to tell that Kagome was waking up by her heart rate. Sesshoumaru was about to get up when Inuyasha stopped him. Sesshoumaru looked over at his brother with a frown.
“What?”
Inuyasha shook his head. “Just stay here.” Inuyasha stood. “Keep Kagome warm and I’ll go get breakfast. You watched us all night.” With that he went out the entrance. Inuyasha didn’t even flinch when he passed through the barrier.
Sesshoumaru smiled a rare smile and curled up with his miko. His beast was purring like a neko. Closing his eyes he breathed Kagome's scent in trying to memorize every little scent that she gave off. Sesshoumaru felt Kagome stretch in his arm. Opening his eyes he was met by light blue and golden eyes. They were sparkling with happiness.
“Did you sleep well my mate?” Sesshoumaru asked as Kagome turned over to face him.
Smiling Kagome nodded. “Better than in a long time.” She looked around their little cave. “Where’s Inuyasha?” She looked back up into his golden eyes.
“He went to get breakfast.” Sesshoumaru leaned down and kissed her.
Kagome melted into his embrace and ran her hands through his hair. She pulled back when she felt something poking into her stomach. Blushing she looked away from him. Sesshoumaru just chuckled at her.
“Do not worry little one.” He took her chin between his forefinger and thumb. “We are going to wait til you are fully healed before we finish the claiming process.” He rather enjoyed the light blush on her cheeks.
Just then Inuyasha came back with four fish that were already gutted. Sesshoumaru helped Kagome up then lead her over to the fire and helped her sit. He then headed out of the entrance without another word. Kagome just shrugged as she sharpened the sticks that Inuyasha had gathered yesterday.
Once Inuyasha had seasoned the fish he handed them to Kagome and let her slid them on the sticks and set them by the fire. Not long after Sesshoumaru left he came back with more fire wood. He dropped his pile and then took his seat behind Kagome. Watching as she moved the fish when one side was finished.
“This Sesshoumaru asked Inuyasha yesterday why ningens need to cook their food however he did not truly know.” Sesshoumaru asked as his breath tickled her neck. “Would you care to enlighten me?”
Kagome nodded but kept doing what she was doing. “Humans are not able to protect themselves from the bacteria that live in the non-cooked meat. When we cook the meat it kills the bad germs and leaves the good ones.” She looked over her shoulder. “Does that help?”
“Yes it does.” Sesshoumaru kissed her on the lips quickly before she turned her head. “This Sesshoumaru thanks you.”
Kagome nodded and turned back to watch the fish. A light blush was covering her cheeks as she watched the fire. She wondered if all three of them would become mates or would one take turns. Sighing she tried to push the thoughts away however they were there to stay until she got them out of her head.
“Is there something wrong, Kagome?” Inuyasha asked as he frowned. He was able to tell her moods more than Sesshoumaru would be able to.
Kagome shook her head. “Just thinking.” Her blush became darker.
“Oh.” Sesshoumaru raised an eyebrow and looked over at his bother. Inuyasha had a shit eating grin on his face. “Do tell us what you were thinking about because the smell you are giving off is delicious.”
Kagome chocked on nothing as she looked wide eyed at Inuyasha then looked over at Sesshoumaru. Both of the Inu males had a glint in their eyes that made her feel....... aroused. Blushing even more she realized that they could smell her arousal in the air around her.
“Well, I was wondering how....” Kagome took a deep breathe. “How we are all three going to become mates. I mean do both of you guys......um...... join or will it be one on one?” She kept her eyes off their faces and on the fish in front of her.
Sesshoumaru chuckled behind her. “My dear mate we are ALL three going to participate in the mating activity.” He whispered in her ear then traced the edge with the tip of his tongue.
“Yeah, Kagome both Sesshoumaru and I are going to take you at once.” Inuyasha moved over in front of Kagome to block her view of the fish. They could tell when the meat was done well at least Inuyasha knew how it smelled when the meat was done.
“Really?” Kagome squeaked as she raised her head to look into Inuyasha's amber eyes.
“Of course.” Inuyasha leaned forward and took Kagome's mouth with his. Sesshoumaru on the other hand was nuzzling Kagome as he licked and nipped along her shoulder. Both of the males knew that Kagome was in heaven with the little mews and groans she was making.
Inuyasha was the first to pull back. Sesshoumaru followed his lead and let Kagome go as he leaned back on his hand. Kagome blinked a couple of times then shook her head. Sesshoumaru smirked while Inuyasha laughed.
“The fish are done.” Inuyasha told Kagome. “Once you get done eating we can get back to the village. Shippou, Sango and Miroku are probably worried if Miroku felt the ominous presence of the Oni yesterday.”
Kagome nodded as she took the first fish and started eating. When she ate the guys began to gather the things that were needed. It didn’t take Kagome long for her to finish the fish that Inuyasha had brought. She didn’t understand why she was so hungry but she didn’t mention anything.
Once she was done Inuyasha bent down in front of her and let her climb on his back. Kagome knew that she could get to the village by herself however she knew that Inuyasha loved to carry her. As soon as Kagome was on Inuyasha back he took off towards the village. Sesshoumaru was right behind them.

They were all in Kaeda's hut waiting for Kagome, Inuyasha and Lord Sesshoumaru to return. Sango kept her eyes on Miroku as well as his hand. She had already had to hit him over the head three times because he had found it imperative to grope her.
“When is Lord Sesshoumaru coming back?” Rin asked from her spot by Shippou. She had not left the Kitsunes side since they told her that lord Sesshoumaru along with Inuyasha and Kagome were no where near the village.
Shippou patted Rin on her shoulder. “Don’t worry Lord Sesshoumaru will take care of Kagome and Inuyasha.” He tried to keep her from worrying however it wasn’t as easy as when Kagome was around.
Rin looked over at Shippou. “Are you sure?” Her eyes held un-shed tears.
Shippou nodded and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. “Don’t worry. They may of ran into a couple of jewel shards. If they weren’t at the area where the Oni was then Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha as well as Kagome might have had something to take care of.” He gave her a lop sided grin.
Rin relaxed into Shippou's embrace and layed her head on his shoulder. Shippou had to fight to keep the blush from spreading across his cheeks. He had never had a female other than his mother and aunt Sango trust in him and he found that he rather liked it.
Miroku had a grin in place but was quickly removed when Sango hit him over the head with her Hiraikotsu. Sango shook her head and went back to speaking to Kaeda. They were interrupted when a village man came running up to her hut yelling about a demon near the town.
Both Sango and Shippou jumped up and headed out the door. They relaxed when they saw it was only Kouga. Then they realized why he had come. Sango walked up to the ookami and gave him a smile.
“What can we do for you, Kouga?” Sango kept her voice pleasant however she knew that if Inuyasha or Sesshoumaru came with Kagome all hell would break loose.
“I came to see my woman.” Kouga looked around. “I smelled her in the first time in over two years and I want to know where she is.” He crossed his arms over his chest.
“Well as you can see momma isn’t here.” Shippou stepped up beside Sango. “There was an attack by an Oni and Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha and Kagome took care of it.”
Kouga snorted. “I know that. I do have a nose too but that isn’t why I came. Kagome is going to be my woman. I have let her run with dog breathe for long enough.” He narrowed his gaze at Shippou. “Now please tell her to come here.”
Shippou growled. “Now you listen to me Kouga. You know my mother has told you time and time again that she isn’t your woman and would never be. Why don’t you go and find some other female to bug. In fact didn’t you make a promise to Ayame to marry her?” He let his eyes flash red in warning.
“Come on guys lets not fight about this.” Sango said as she moved in between the two youkais. “Kouga you know that Kagome doesn’t love you. She has told you time and time again. If you wish to stay then you are more than welcome however you must keep her wolves under control.”
Kouga looked over at Sango. “I’ll kept them in line however as soon as Kagome comes back we’ll be gone.” With that Kouga turned and lead him wolves away from the village.
Shippou looked at Sango and sighed. “Man if Sesshoumaru or Inuyasha are with Kagome all hell is going to break loose.”
Sango nodded. “I agree.”
“Lets head back to Kaeda's hut. Rin might be worried.” Shippou turned and headed back to the hut.
Sango grinned as she followed the kit back. She could tell that Shippou had a crush on the human girl. Smiling she kept her opinion to herself and hurried back to the hut. She really didn’t want to be in the middle of the fight if Kagome came back with one or both of the Inus.
