Author note – Kagome is tough but you get kidnapped and almost raped and see if you can handle yourself even if you can fight. I was trying to make it realistic. Don’t worry Kagome is one tough Bitch!

“Why........ why did you allow us to duel mate?” Inuyasha glanced over at Kagome.
Sesshoumaru gave his brother a real smile. “Because this one knows that she loves you and is the only one to keep you in line little brother.” Sesshoumaru turned back and finished washing his hair. “In fact little brother it is because of her love that you were able to become full demon.”
Inuyasha thought for a moment then looked at Kagome. Her love changed him and made him stronger. He blinked. No miko have ever taken a demon as a mate before Kagome. Well not that he knew.
“I guess your right.” He shrugged as he started to wash his hair. Sesshoumaru finished washing his hair as he got out of the water and went back to Kagome. Inuyasha wasn’t worried about his brother taking her because he knew that she had enough love for both of them.

Kagome stretched her body and felt a dull ache down in between her legs. Smiling at the memory of what had happened before she opened her eyes and looked around. Both males were gone however Sesshoumaru’s moko-moko and Inuyasha's fire rat robe was still there. She wrapped her arms around Sesshoumaru’s moko-moko and snuggled under the fire robe.
“I see that your awake.” Inuyasha said as he walked into the cave with only his hakamas on. Kagome blushed as she stared at his bare chest.
“Yeah I just woke up.” Kagome sat up and kept the robe to her chest. “Where is Sesshoumaru?”
Inuyasha walked over and took a package that was set down. He took it to Kagome and sat down in front of her. “He had to check on the lands. He should be back soon.” He looked away from her. “He also wanted to let the East wolf tribe know what has happened to Kouga.”
Kagome has started to unwrap the gift but when Kouga’s name was mentioned she froze. Eyes going to Inuyasha she felt her heart start to beat faster. Inuyasha must of noticed her shaking because he quickly took her in his arms. Whispering soothing words to her.
“I am sorry that Kouga is gone but....” Kagome whispered into his chest. “His shards were tainted.” Kagome squeezed her eyes shut.
Inuyasha rocked her back and forth. “Don’t worry.” Inuyasha raised her head to look at him. “Neither one of us blame you for this. I have seen you deny any claims Kouga had on you. In fact the whole group knew that you only cared for him as a friend. Hell even Ginta and Hakkaku knew.”
Kagome nodded. “Its still hurts that a friend could do something like that. I froze when he started to attack me.” Kagome buried her face into his chest.
Inuyasha nodded but kept quiet. “Sesshoumaru brought this for you. Why don’t you finish opening it.” He smiled down at her when Kagome looked up.
“All right.” Kagome took the half way open package and finished unwrapping it. Her eyes grew wide as she looked down at the kimono that was wrapped in the paper.
It was like her other kimono that Kouga had destroyed however this one was dark purple and red. The two colors of her mates. Smiling she looked up at Inuyasha. She leaned forward and kissed him on the lips. Inuyasha kissed her back but pulled back and stood up.
“Hurry up and get dressed.” He turned his back that way she could dress in private.
“Ok.” Kagome told him as she stood and let his robe fall to the floor. She hurried to put on the kimono.
As soon as she was done she turned to see that Inuyasha was speaking to Sesshoumaru. Kagome smiled as she made her way over to her mates. Reaching up on her tip toes she kissed Sesshoumaru on the cheek however when she pulled back he grabbed her and locked his lips on hers. When he pulled back Kagome was flushed.
“Good Morning my mate.” Sesshoumaru purred as he kissed her once more. Kagome mewed as he kissed her but whimpered as he pulled back.
Inuyasha was behind them getting his fire robe back on and grabbing the moko-moko for his brother. He also retrieved his sword along with Sesshoumaru’s two. He used a cloth to touch Tokijin. Once he had the swords he headed back to his mate and brother.
“Alright, you guys ready?” Inuyasha asked them as he walked up and handed Sesshoumaru his swords.
Kagome gave him a smile. “Hai, lets get back to Edo.” She gave a small sigh. “I miss Rin and Shippou.”
Both males laughed as Inuyasha picked Kagome up and they headed back to the village. Sesshoumaru knew that Inuyasha was use to carrying her so he let him. Anyway he knew that their miko would not be comfortable with his armor he wore. Smiling he sped up a little faster making his brother speed up as well.
>Edo with the Others<
“I sure hope Lady Kagome is alright.” Miroku sighed as his head bowed. “They have been gone all night.”
Shippou shrugged. “Don’t worry. Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru is with her.” He tightened his arms around Rin. Rin smiled and curled up in Shippou’s arms. They had finally told each other how they felt.
“Lord Sesshoumaru will take good care of Kagome.” Rin smiled at them. “Rin just knows it.”
“You have a lot of faith in him.” Sango was very curious as to why the demon lord let this girl follow him. “How did you come to be with him?”
Rin stiffened but relaxed when she remembered that Kouga is or will be dead. Closing her eyes she took a deep breathe. “It happened when I was living in a village. My parents were killed by bandits so I was left alone. I had to steal food to survive.”
When she opened her eyes there were tears. “I still remember the first time I met him. Lord Sesshoumaru was wounded so I took him food. He always told me that he wasn’t hungry but I knew that he was.” Rin shivered from the memories. “It happened so fast that I really don’t know how I ended up in the woods but I was going to Lord Sesshoumaru when I heard the wolves coming. They chased me until the caught me and killed me.”
“The next time I woke up, Lord Sesshoumaru had me in his arms.” She wiped her eyes. “I have been with him ever since. People have told me that I need to be with my own kind but the village people hurt me and Lord Sesshoumaru had been nothing but kind.” She finished with a shrug.
“I’m sorry that you had to go through that.” Shippou whispered in her ear. Rin nodded.
“Thanks Shippou.” Her eyes drooped and soon she fell asleep. Shippou looked up and noticed that Sango had tears in her eyes and Miroku was lost in thought.
“What are you thinking about Miroku?” Shippou asked seeing the monk jump.
“Oh I was thinking about when Kouga attacked the village before he kidnapped Kagome.” He looked at the others. “Do you think that it was that village that Rin was from? I do remember Inuyasha saying that he smelled his brother scent but it was stale.”
Sango nodded and looked down at the young girl. “I remember. Kagome wanted to stop and bury the bodies.” Her eyes widen. “Do you think that the small shack we seen was hers?”
Shippou looked from the two of them back down at Rin. He had a feeling that Rin was from that village that Kouga had killed everyone now he was sure of it. He frowned when he thought about how Kouga never said anything about it. Shaking his head slightly he turned his eyes to the door. He felt three auras coming. One was pure while the other two were demons.
“They are back.” He nodded to the door as Kagome and Inuyasha walked in with Sesshoumaru behind them.
Sesshoumaru looked at his ward and the kitsune. Raising an eyebrow he let it go as he moved that way Kagome could sit down. Inuyasha was right behind her and took his seat to her left while Sesshoumaru took her right.
“I am glad ye are ok.” Kaeda said as she stirred the soup that was cooking. “We were worried about ye.”
“Keh.” Inuyasha looked away from everyone. Kagome giggled as she looked at Rin.
“Sorry we were gone so long.” Kagome sighed. “After the attack from the Oni demon I was pretty wore out. My powers were already worn down but when Kouga took me.” Kagome shivered at the memory. “I guess that I froze and forgot all my training.”
Sango smiled and patted her sister on her knee. “Don’t worry to much. Even in the slayers village there were women that could kill a youkai but you let a man anywhere near them and they couldn’t harm a fly.” Sango looked at Inuyasha and gasped. “H-How is he.....” She was staring at Inuyasha’s markings.
“Inuyasha do you know that your demon is out?” Miroku asked kindly. He was worried that Inuyasha go crazy.
Inuyasha snorted at them both. “You can thank Kagome for helping me turn full demon.” He took her hand in his. “If it wasn’t for her I would still have to worry about the new moon as well as losing myself to my demon blood.”
“That’s good to know.” Shippou had an evil glint in his eyes. Kagome could smell trouble.
“No pranks Shippou.” She warned. “So are you going to ask Sesshoumaru to court Rin?” She asked innocently. Shippou blushed as he tried to hid his face in Rin’s hair.
Everyone smiled when they noticed that Shippou was trying very hard to hid his blush. “This Sesshoumaru always thought you were a good match for my daughter.” Everyone’s mouth hit the floor as they looked at Sesshoumaru.
Shippou’s eyes grew wide. “T-Thank y-you.” He tightened his arms around Rin. “I will keep her safe with my life.” He vowed.
Sesshoumaru nodded. “This Sesshoumaru would expect no less from you.”
“Soup is done, Shippou wake Rin.” Kaeda told him as she dished up the miso soup.
Shippou nodded as he shook Rin lightly. “Come on Rin soup is done and Sesshoumaru is back.”
Rin was wide awake as soon as Sesshoumaru’s name was mentioned. Her eyes widen as she looked at her lord. “Lord Sesshoumaru!” She jumped out of Shippou’s lap and went to him.
Unlike before he picked her up and nuzzled her neck just as he would do with his own. Rin giggled saying that it tickled. He set her back down then told her to get her soup. She obeyed and also grabbed Shippou's as well. Shippou just smiled as he took his bowl from her.
Inuyasha got up and took the bowls that were Kagomes and Sesshoumarus then he went back for his after he handed them theirs. Kagome just blushed as she took her bowl. She had tried to move however Sesshoumaru did not let her get up off his lap. Deciding not to argue she sat there and ate while the others got their soup and returned to their seats.
Miroku cleared his throat. “I told Hakkaku and Ginta that we would give them the body of Kouga.” He whispered as to not upset Rin. Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru nodded.
“That is acceptable.” Sesshoumaru glanced over at Inuyasha. “Would you go back and get ‘it’ ready?”
“Keh.” He nodded as he continued eating. Kagome just rolled her eyes as she ate in silence. She could still see Kouga’s eyes everything she closed hers. Shivering she felt Sesshoumaru's moko-moko curl around her.
“We shall leave in the morning to finish the hunt for the jewels.” He said as he leaned his head back and closed his eyes. He had finished his soup and just wanted to relax a little. Having Kagome near was a blessing. Her powers flowed over his skin like a mothers embrace.
