On Sesshomaru's computer screen sat flashing “Higurashi Kagome 15 today.”

Sesshomaru picked up the telephone and called the school board. “This is Taisho-sama, it is time for Taisho-sensei to become the headmistress at her school.” He coolly stated then hung up the telephone.

An hour later his secretary buzzed him “Mr. Taisho your wife is on the phone”

Sesshomaru answered the telephone, “Yes dear?”

“Sesshy, I have been promoted to headmistress! They have had me move into the office already. Does that mean today is the day?” exclaimed his wife.

“Yes, today is Kagome's fifteenth birthday. I believe it starts today. Is she at school yet?”

“No I haven't seen her today, Sesshy.”

“Make sure that all her excuses for missed school are approved. In addition, make sure that teachers give her time to make up missed schoolwork. I do not want her failing in school because her karma has decided she must walk this path that Kikyo was unable to do.”

“Yes, My Lord Sesshomaru” teased his wife in a serious tone.

“My dearest, you do not need to call me that.”

“Yes I know, Fluffy, except in the bedroom right? I have to go they are sending a student to my office. Love you see you tonight.”

Sesshomaru smirked at his wife's comment “Yes, I will see you tonight and show you that I, Sesshomaru is still your lord,” he said before hanging up the telephone and heading out the door.

When Sesshomaru arrived at the Higurashi Shrine some thirty minutes later as soon as he stepped out of his Bugatti Veyron, it was confirmed today was the day that Kagome traveled back to the Sengoku Jidai. He had not even started up the steps to the shrine grounds and could hear her family searching from their shouts of “Kagome!”

“Mom, I swear she was pulled in the well by something” wailed Souta.

“The Bone Eater's Well has been sealed for nearly two centuries. When our forefathers found the Sword of Murakumo, that was found in the Yamuto no Orochi, that was slew by Prince Susano-Oh…” droned Jii-chan.

“Now Souta don't be silly, nothing could have come out of the well,” said Mama “maybe she went on to school. Why don't you go on yourself?”

“Ok Mom if you are sure, but I saw her fall in the well.”

Meanwhile Jii-chan was still going on about some sword even after Mama and Souta left the courtyard running past Sesshomaru. Mama started to go back in the house, but stopped by the Sacred Tree. Her thoughts took her back to the time that her husband had proposed, until Sesshomaru walked up to where she was standing.

“The Goshinboku, the sacred tree that the priestess, Kikyo, sealed the hanyou, Inuyasha, to with an enchanted arrow, 550 and years ago, you can still see the scar caused by the arrow,” stated Sesshomaru.

Mama turned to the man and gasped, “Mr. T-Taisho…” He was easily recognized because of his wealth and power. As she looked at him she swore she saw his image shift for a second to reveal a man with long silver hair, pointed ears, and colorful markings. Just as soon as she thought she saw it, it was gone.

“Mr. Taisho, that is the story, but the names have been long forgotten. My father does not even pretend to know the names. How could you?”

“I remember…” whispered Sesshomaru. It was said so quietly that Mama was not sure that she even heard him.

He then turned to Mama and asked, “Mrs. Higurashi could we speak privately. I have many things I would like to talk to about. I have some information about your daughter.”

“Kagome? What about her? Come in the kitchen I'll make you some tea, and call me Mama everyone does.”

Seated in the kitchen at the Shrine, Mama pours tea for herself and Sesshomaru.

“What is it that you have to tell me about my daughter?”

“Mrs. Higurashi - Mama, what I have to say is going to seem unusual. You may not even wish to believe me. Things have changed a lot in the past 500 years. I will start by saying your daughter is fine. She will be back in a few days I am sure. You must trust your daughter when she comes home. She is a very powerful miko and the keeper of the Shikon no Tama. The Bone Eater's Well is seems to be a portal to 500 years in the past. The Sengoku Jidai is where Kagome is at this moment” Sesshomaru told her.

“Miko? Shikon no Tama? Sengoku Jidai?”

“Has Kagome ever mentioned being able to see things, things that didn't seem possible? But she believed she sees them none the less?”

“I don't know. She has not said anything but sometimes I do. Outside beside the Goshinboku it seemed like you had long silver hair, elf like ears, and some colorful markings. It was there half a second and then it was gone.”

“You saw correctly. You must a some spiritual powers to see through my concealment spell” Sesshomaru raised his hand to is tie tack holding it up whispered a few words to drop the concealment but keep his youkai hidden. The image of a Japanese executive disappeared before her very eyes; and there sat Lord Sesshomaru, Taiyoukai of the Western Lands. “I am a full blooded Inu-Youkai, born over 850 years ago. I am Lord Sesshomaru, Taiyoukai of the Western Lands, like my father before me Touga, the Great Inu no Taisho. The reason I know the priestess name and the hanyou's name is that I was there then. Inuyasha is my little brother. Right about now Kagome is probably removing the spell holding Inuyasha to the God Tree.”

“What?”

“Kagome has traveled 500 years in the past. She is Kikyo reincarnated. Their shared soul has decided that now is the time to right the past wrongs. Inuyasha and Kikyo once had an interest in each other, but Kikyo could only see herself with a human. She was going to have Inuyasha change to a human using the Shikon no Tama, but an evil hanyou by the name of Naraku tricked both Inuyasha and Kikyo into thinking they betrayed each other. However, Kikyo having some feelings for the human part of Inuyasha could not just kill him. What Kikyo did was hundred times worse. She sealed him to alone in the darkness forever. Kikyo saw all youkai as evil beings that had to be destroyed. Kagome judges each youkai and human she comes across to decide if they are evil or not. If not, she works to bring out the good them.”

“It sounds like you speak from experience,” replied Mama as she refilled their tea.

“You are right, 500 some years ago I thought all humans were weak and pathetic creatures. They did not deserve my notice. Nevertheless, how Kagome changed my brother I started to think differently. Then when I took in a human child, Rin, she changed me. Kagome helped us a few times. Back then I never would have admitted that.”

“And now? You feel differently about humans?”

“Yes I do Kagome is strong. She is loyal. She has courage. These are things I find redeeming in a being.”

“Why are telling me this?” Mama inquired.

“Kagome is going to need you to understand and support her. You do not need to worry about the time she misses from school, just make sure an excuse is called in so I can track her time in the Sengoku Jidai. Trust Inuyasha he will protect your daughter and she will protect him. This will take a couple of years to complete. It is going to be very hard on Kagome she is going to grow up much faster then children her age do now. Trust her and help her where you can, but she has to do it, you can not do it for her and you can not make the decisions for her. I know this is hard for human mothers, letting go of their children, but it is her karma. When her time in the Sengoku Jidai is over, I will need your help. If I were to just show up Inuyasha and I would surely fight. We always do it seems. During that time, I hated Inuyasha and tried to kill him. I also tried to kill Kagome a few times too. That is how I know one will always protect the other. Kagome and Inuyasha will not know the changes I have made to myself until their karma is satisfied. I will be leaving now. I suggest you air the place out well before Inuyasha comes the first time.” With that, Sesshomaru walked out the door.

Left Mama shocked and wondering about everything, he had said.

A/N: I researched surnames (family names) in Japan normally when a woman marries a man she takes his name, but in the cases where she is the only child and he is not the man will take the family name of his wife to continue on that name. This is what I am going to say happened here that Jii-chan is Mama's father. I used Touga as Sesshy and Inu's father's name from the storyboards of the third movie.

Sesshy's car is a new car for 2006 costing 1.7 million USD goes 253 mph 1001 horsepower, I think I read 0 to 63 in 2.7 seconds.
