Legends3: Baka!2004

"Now's our chance" Inuyasha opened the girls window, some security system they had. He turned back to Sango, "Go. Stay with Kirara and follow us from the air in case something goes wrong, if everything goes well, I'll be able to handle it." Inuyasha nodded Sango off and jumped into the blackened bedroom.

The room was more girly than it looked from the outside. It was bigger too. Inuyasha's sharp eyes noticed that it was painted a baby blue, with a blue-ish white ceiling. Inuyasha looked down to notice white shag carpeting. Her book shelves were filled with every different kind of book, school books (since she was home-schooled her entire life) children's books, young adult's books. His eyes stopped mid search when he came upon a book he knew. He didn't read much, so seeing a book he thought he might have read surprised him. He picked up the book from the table (where there sat only a calligraphy pen and a stack of blank paper) and turned it over. The Dragon Hour was imprinted on the front cover and he almost laughed out loud. To think, the Princess read the same stuff as he did. He put the book back down and walked to the Princesses Queen-sized bed. The purple comforter looked oddly black in the night lighting. Inuyasha found the Princesses form and grabbed her from underneath, picking her up bridal style before flinging her, almost carelessly, over his shoulder and jumping back out the window.

He jumped from tree to tree, the Princess still sleeping away. "What does it take to wake this chick?" he asked himself in a whisper as he continued on toward his shack. He saw Sango up ahead with Kirara and he knew she was smiling because nothing went terribly wrong, she would hate to have been involved in any other way than she already was. Inuyasha landed on the ground in front of their shack and carried Kagome inside. He practically threw her on the bed and nodded to Sango.

"See, that wasn't so bad." she rolled her eyes and sat down next to the boy.

"Lets go to sleep."

"WHERE AM I?" Kagome screamed, for the third time that morning,

"Princess, if you calm down we can explain." Sango said sweetly.

"I AM CALM!" she retorted.

"LISTEN UP PRINCESS! YOU AND YOUR SNOOTY FAMILY ARE GONNA GIVE ME MONEY OR I'M GOING TO KILL YA! OKAY? Stupid wench! I kidnapped you so the King will give us money!" Inuyasha sat down on the floor and stared at her as though that ended the argument.

"Breakfast?" Sango asked, returning from outside with a fried egg.

"Where did you cook it?" Kagome asked with a look of disgust on her face.

"Outside, on the fire." at Kagome's glance she added "We don't have a stove."

"Hai because we were exiled by that stupid King Emmanuel and now your father thinks we are worthless and he wont even give us jobs. He said we were, quote: 'Lucky to have this house'. You can't even call it a house." Inuyasha seemed to be talking more to himself then to anyone else but he was easy to hear.

Kagome felt kind of bad, just looking around the shack told her that they were in a bad position. She accepted the breakfast and sat down on an overturned crate.

"Why were you exiled?" she asked between chews.

"We don't talk about it." Sango said, before Inuyasha could answer.

"I'm a half-breed stupid! Don't you know that? Feh. I guess you wouldn't you're only my age."

"Half-breed? You're that Inuyasha guy Kouga talked about. And your father was the one that -" she stopped talking.

"Got murdered so that lousy King could take his place. Hai, that's us."

"My name is Sango by the way."

"Why were you exiled?" Kagome asked.

"Because-" Sango didn't want to say, and risk upsetting Inuyasha more than he already was.

"Because she was friends with me." he stated flatly. "She had a brother, but the King took him as a slave."

"That's horrible." Kagome was in an utter state of disbelief.

"Feh. What do you know?" Inuyasha stood up, "Anyway, I'm going to leave a note for The King. Hopefully you'll be out of my sight soon." Inuyasha turned and walked out the door.

"He really isn't so bad. Once you get to know him."

"I just want to go home." Kagome looked at the blank walls, there was no window. How she wanted to be home, with her horrible father, annoying brother, baka guards. She hugged her knees close to her chest in a deep, pensive silence.

"YOUR MAJESTY! Princess Kagome, she's been kidnapped!" a very tall, very thin man came running into the throne room. He had short blond hair that seemed to be stuck to his head rather than flow down like most hair. The man came running in with a note in his hand, waving it around as he neared the King.

"Calm down Dokuohtei what seems to be the trouble?" the King asked. He didn't really pay attention to his servants.

"The Princess, Princess Kagome has been kidnapped. They demand money. They don't say who they are but that you must throw the money into the woods and they will return the Princess once you've complied." Dokuohtei handed the note to the King who read it over.

"Well, lets look for her first, before we go giving away that much Yen. Send out twenty men." the King ordered.

"But Sir. Isn't twenty men a little . . . well, little? If it were Souta you'd send at least a hundred."

"This isn't Souta now is it? Send twenty. That is all!"

"Yes your Majesty." Dokuohtei bowed and left the throne room, preparing to rally twenty guards to go searching for the missing Princess.

"They are sending out a search party first. Can you believe that? They wont even pay for her." Inuyasha told Sango in secret.

"Well, we all know that the King wanted the boy to be first." Sango whispered back.

"Hai, but that's just . . . mean." Inuyasha said, for lack of a better word.

"What's mean?" Kagome came out of the shack. She was slightly over the fact that she wouldn't have her palace to sleep in for a while.

She actually hit herself, mentally of course, because she was being so fickle. Two days ago she had wanted to run away, and now that she was finally away from that God forsaken place she wanted to go back. She didn't even know why. She assumed it was because she had never been away. Or because she missed Miroku . . . or even still because she had no idea who these two people were and if they were going to hurt her.

"Nothing." Sango said quickly as she smiled.

"Well, did The King give you the money. Am I leaving yet?"

"No. In a few days." Inuyasha held his composure though he had to try very hard.

"Hmm." that was Kagome's only response as she walked into the woods.

"Where are you going?" Inuyasha yelled angrily.

"For a walk!" she shouted back.

"Sango go! Follow her. Hey! From now on you can only walk with Sango!" he yelled, though Kagome seemed to ignore him.

"Tell me the truth; when am I leaving?" Kagome asked Sango as they walked side by side threw the forest.

"Well," Sango didn't want to lie, "your father sent out a search party. He believes its better to not give into the rebels demands because then more rebels will rise up." Sango partially lied, and partially stretched the truth.

"You don't have to lie Sango. I know the King hates me. He just doesn't want to fork over the money."

"Now Kagome, I am sure your father doesn't hate you." the girls had started to walk back and the shack was now almost in view.

"Yes he does. I've accepted that, because I can't stand him either."

"Then, Princess, why do you want to go back so bad?" Kagome didn't know what to say, because she didn't truly have an answer.

"Feh, where have you been? Its only been like an hour! Get in here!" Inuyasha was still in a mood and Kagome didn't feel like arguing.

"You aren't so bad." she muttered as she walked passed him into the hut.

"Feh."
§¤*~ One Week Later

"We've searched high and low majesty. I don't know what to tell you. We must obey the orders."

"NEVER!" the King stood, outraged that his servant would think such a thing."I mean . . . not yet. We must not give into this horrible captives requests." nice recovery . . . asshole. Miroku thought from behind the King. He had nothing to do since Kagome wasn't around for him to follow (since that was his main job). He wanted to be out looking for Kagome but the King said he needed him at the castle.

"Sir, I think I could reason with the captives if you let me go look for her." Miroku tried again to be part of the search party.

"No Miroku! I command you to stay in the castle! Except, actually, go grocery shopping!" the King shoved him out of the door and Miroku walked to the market.

"Stupid, baka king. Asshole, dick, bastard," Miroku continued to mutter curses to himself until he accidentally ran into a person. "I am terribly sorry Ma'am." he helped the girl up off the side walk and dusted her off.

"I can manage." she said dryly.

"Gomen." he said again. This girl was gorgeous. Long black hair, down to her back (almost like Kagome's except slightly more messy), she had a small frame, almost as though she were starving, but she did seem to have some muscle. She was just slightly shorter than Miroku was; dressed in a black and red outfit that looked more like it was used for training than day wear.

"Are you done staring?" she asked. Well her manners aren't that great, but she is hot.

"My name is Miroku Ozu." he extended a hand.

She scoffed but accepted it anyway, shaking quickly and releasing his hand, "Nice to meet you." the sarcasm was emanating from her voice and Miroku smiled.

"Don't I get your name Miss?"

"No." she smiled sweetly and continued to walk past him. Momentarily forgetting he was mad at the King and missed Kagome he walked behind the girl.

"So now you're stalking me?" she asked.

"I just want to know your name." he was still smiling. He loved girls with a little extra 'oomph' so to speak. He didn't like girls who were easy to get. That is partially what drew him to Kagome so much.

"I don't have one." she never stopped walking as she called back to him.

"Do you like coffee?"

"That is a random question."

"I'll buy you some if you tell me your name."

"No, sorry, it's bad for you." Kami, I haven't had coffee in forever!

"Then juice? Milk? Soda?"

"Desperate?" the girl asked. Miroku didn't answer her.

"Why do you have so many grocery bags? Need help? Do you have a big family? Are you married?" he rambled the questions off, not knowing why.

"Yes, I have a huge family, six of us, now seven."

"So you are married?" Miroku seemed a bit crestfallen.

"I never said that." she turned to smile.

"Then will you go out with me?"

"You need help Miroku Ozu."

"Is that a yes?"

"I'll meet you tomorrow night at STARBUCKS at seven."

"Can I have your name mystery girl?" Miroku stopped chasing after and waited.

"'Mystery girl' is fine." she flashed a dazzling smile and disappeared around the corner.

Miroku didn't mind shopping after that.

The day was uneventful for Kagome, she had to spend it with the half-breed himself. He wouldn't let her go to town with Sango cause he didn't want her to run off. Sesshomaru, Shippo and Rin had come back early. (Inuyasha had talked Rin and Sesshomaru into taking Shippo because he didn't want him to be around). Kagome liked them, they were very interesting people. Sesshomaru was emotionless and somewhat girly, he seemed quite fond of Rin, who seemed to take the daughter roll in the lives of these people (though she couldn't have been much younger than Sesshomaru), Shippo seemed to almost take the son roll except it seemed he had a crush on Rin (though she were a bit older).

"I'm back-Sess?! Rin, Shippo? What are you guys doing here?" she nearly dropped the groceries as she walked into the shack to see her 'family'.

"We got caught in a storm and decided to cancel our trip. We've met the Princess-" Sesshomaru began but was cut off by a bundle of hyper ness.

"Lovely girl isn't she? Rin likes her." Rin stated from her seat on Sesshomaru's lap.

"Hai. She's great." Sango didn't know what to do. Had Inuyasha told them the whole story, or did they merely think she was visiting.

"Here, let me help you with those." Kagome offered.

"Rin will help too!" Rin jumped off Sesshomaru's lap began helping the other girls.

"Thanks guys." Sango said mildly.

Sesshomaru, as though reading Sango's thoughts, spoke up and said "Inuyasha told us everything. Personally I think it is the dumbest idea and if you two get caught I will have no part in it."

"Get caught?" Shippo asked.

"We didn't tell the details to Rin or Shippo, they think she is visiting." Sesshomaru whispered so that Sango had to strain to hear him. She nodded and continued to place things in various locations.

"Where is Inuyasha?" as though answering Sango's question a voice yelled from outside.

"Kagome!"

"Coming," she yelled back sweetly, "Jerk." she added in a whisper. She walked outside to find the hanyou sitting in a tree.

"What was it like? Living up there in the palace?"

"It sucked." Kagome sat on a tree stump.

"Why?"

"I don't want to talk about it. You kidnapped me, I am not obligated to tell you anything."

"Don't be so snippy with me." Inuyasha jumped down from the tree.

"Gomen. Life wasn't unlivable, just not enjoyable. I had one friend, who I really miss." Inuyasha was going to ask who this person was, but was afraid it would be an arrogant Prince and he didn't want to deal with that.

"Kagome, I wanted to show you something." Inuyasha said suddenly. Kagome followed him, she didn't know where they were going.

"What is it Inuyasha?"

"Just come on."

"Oh my heavens." she looked at the site before her. It was a majestic waterfall, she had never seen a real waterfall before, only in her mind and maybe once or twice in books. Come to think of it, she had never seen anything before. Except STARBUCKS and the palace, her life was pretty sheltered.

"Isn't it great?" Inuyasha watched her expression of awe. She nodded and smiled at the serenity, then she started laughing. "What's so funny?"

"When The King dies, I'm going to own all of this. I didn't even know our lands had such gorgeous . . . land. How am I suppose to rule something if I don't know anything about it?"

Inuyasha began laughing. Kagome looked at him with a confused glance, "What is so funny?" she asked.

"Princess, you could do so much for this land. Don't you get what you have? You have the power to fix everything that is wrong in this world. And you want to give it up to your little brother? You don't know anything do you?" Inuyasha's speech was followed by an exaggerated 'feh'. "Come on." Inuyasha tugged Kagome's arm and she followed.

He's right.

Okay . . . in my mind I have the rest of the story planned finally. *sigh* umm, my hentai'ish ways are subject to change and I don't know what kind of audience I have. Lemon, lime, or skip the citrus all together and keep this at a normal level? It's up to you guys ^_^

I was going to continue this chapter but its fine here I think. *sigh* this story isn't coming along as smoothly as I had hoped. I hope it isn't terribly annoying to read, I had a different idea and it seems to be vearing off course. Let me know what you think ^_^
