Chapter # 6
Secret Revealed.
“Well it seems that Miss Higurashi is having a little fun on the side.” Jake the reporter said into the camera. As the video of her and Inu-Niichan played on the screen for like the millionth time that week.
“It seems so. And this Inu-Niichan, as people call him, is getting up close and personal with out little popstar.” Jazz replied.
“Getting jealous?”
“Of coarse not. Inu-Niichan is cute in all, but not my type. But that Inuyasha fellow we saw Kagome with a few days ago. He seems jealous.” Jazz said with a smile.
“Maybe so. He’s probably just mad that Kagome chose some goody-two-shoe over him.”
“Isn’t that the way all bad-asses think?”
“Mostly…”

“I can’t stand that.” Sango muttered. Kagome laughed. “Me neither, they get all worked up about something and have it over the world in 2 minutes flat.” Kagome said.
“You know, Inuyasha does seem kind of jealous about you and Inu-Niichan.” Miroku said, sitting in between the girls.
The truth in that was that Inuyasha was just acting like he was jealous. It would kind of give it away if he wasn’t jealous or acting protective. Everyone already knew he liked her. Except Kagome herself.
The past week had been interesting for the group. Inuyasha was getting slightly less rude towards Kagome. Hey, he said slightly. And slightly meant like…nothing in Inuyasha’s attitude meteor. He was just losing the little resentment he had towards Kagome, just because she looked like her cousin.
But. He was still being nicer, and that was always an improvement when you were talking about Inuyasha Nagasaki.
“Why would Inuyasha be jealous?” Kagome asked, getting up off her couch and going into the kitchen.
Her, Sango, and Miroku were currently sitting in Kagome’s living room, talking about random things, and Kagome knew that she was forgetting something, something really, really important. But she couldn’t for the life of her remember what it was.
Then Inuyasha walked in the room.
“Hey.” he said. Kagome smiled.
“Hey. Want some ramen?” Inuyasha smirked.
“You have to ask?” he said with a quirked brow. Kagome laughed.
“Alright. Chicken okay?”
“Keh, I don’t care.”
“Of coarse you don’t. You never care… about anything.” and that some how that stung a bit. To know that he never now and never would care about her.
Mentally sighing she took out 5 cups of ramen. One for her, one for Miroku, one for Sango, and two for Inuyasha.
“He cared about Kikyo.” Koga said as he too walked in.
“You want some ram-” Kagome suddenly stopped, dropping the cups on the floor.
“Kagome!?” Koga, Miroku and Sango yelled as they ran to her. Inuyasha was too absorbed in his own hurt to realize anything had happened.
“Damn it! Damn it! DAMN IT!” Kagome screamed, pounding her fist into the counter. By now Inuyasha was up, and had his hands on her shoulders.
“Are you okay?”
“No I’m, not okay! But you should get out of here!” she snapped.
“Why?”
“Well, well, well. Hello dear cousin.”
Why the hell were there so many stairs to this stupid shrine anyways? And way the hell was she walking up them? It’s not like she cared about the stupid freaks at the top of it.
But ohhhh no. She had to go. Just because her mother had said she had to be a good cousin and visit all her relatives every now and then. How she despised her mother. Making her go see that wench of a girl who could pass for her twin.
It sickened her to think of that Kagome girl being her twin. Despite the fact that she was famous, and rich it was distasteful to the girl currently on the stairs.
Finally at the top, and slightly out of breath Kikyo headed towards the house. But, she got a little lost. Why were there so many buildings that looked like the house on this damn shrine? Because it was a fucking shrine that’s way.
Finally finding her way to the house she opened the door, took off her shoes and walked in like she owned the place. She heard familiar voices coming from the kitchen. And Kagome yelling damn it repeatedly. And what sounded like flesh hitting counter top. Her mother did that enough that she recognised the sound by now.
Walking into the kitchen she saw familiar faces, Koga she thought his name was. Sango, and Miroku who were always hanging around Inuyasha. And then the infamous hanyou himself. Thought she kept it a secret about him being a hanyou, maybe it was because she still felt a small twinge of feelings for him when ever she thought of him.
It shocked, surprised, and scared her that he was standing at such a close proximity with her cousin. Hands casually on her shoulders like it was a normal thing for him to do. But, now it might just be normal.
“Well, well, well. Hello dear cousin.” she said in a sarcastic manor. Every head -but Kagome’s- turned in her direction, and every eye went wide.
“Kikyo.” Kagome hissed.
“Well, glad to know you’re happy to see me.” Kikyo said with a roll of her eyes, the sarcasm not leaving. Kagome snorted.
“As if I’d be happy to see you. You stupid whore!” she lunged, and punched Kikyo square in the jaw. Every eye in the kitchen went even wider.
“Now, what was that for?” Kikyo said with a small pout, rubbing her abused cheek.
“You know very well what. I haven’t seen you for 2 years and now every where I go I’m getting accused for your shit!”
“Well, it’s not my fault you look like me.”
“No, I suppose not. But, I suppose you can pass for me if you wanted to.” Kagome said. Then the sarcasm leaped into her voice. “Then again probably not, you’d just probably find a way to ruin my career by sleeping with my manager.”
“I might, is he cute?” Kikyo asked, utmost seriousness in her voice.
“You disgust me.”
“I’m glad we agree on something.”
“K-Kikyo?” Inuyasha asked, finally being able to process what was happening. Sure he might be smart, but hell, he wasn’t a genius.
“Why hello Inuyasha.” Kikyo said with a smile. “Long time no see.”
“And you’re not going to be seeing much of anything. Get out of my house.”
“I believe this is your mothers house.”
“I don’t give a damn whose house it is! Get out!”
“Kagome Nicole Higurashi!” someone yelled as they came in the door. Kagome cringed. “Don’t you dare talk to your cousin like that.”
“Mom…” Kagome whined. “You know how much I hate her.”
“Which is why I invited her over. You need to get over that hatred an get to know each other better.”
“WHAT!?” Both girls screamed.
“No, Not gonna happen. She’s not staying here.” Kagome hissed. “She stays here then I go.”
“Oh, and just where might you go?”
“You could stay with me Kagome.” Sango said sweetly and Mrs.Higurashi sent her a glare. Sango gulped and shut her mouth tight, clamping her teeth on her tongue.
“Ha, you stupid bitch.” Kikyo said to Sango.
“Shut your fucking mouth Kikyo. You will not talk to my friends like that.” Kagome snapped.
“Oh and is little miss goody-two-shoe gonna stop me?” Kikyo said in a childish voice.
“I sure as hell will.” And Kagome yet again punched Kikyo. Sending her into the wall where Kagome charged at her, Kikyo ducked, swinging her leg under Kagome, sending her sprawling on the floor on her back.
“Disgusting bitch.”
“Nasty whore!” and Kagome had Kikyo on her back as she threw repeated punches into Kikyo’s gut. Leaving Kikyo breathless every time.
“Kagome! Get off her!” Inuyasha yelled. Shocking every one, -even himself- that he still cared about her.
Kagome stopped and looked up at him, confusion written clearly on her face.
“What?” she asked.
“Stupid bitch. Never take your eyes off your opponent.” and Kikyo brought her legs up under Kagome and kicked her into the wall. Kagome grunted and slid to the floor. She hit her head pretty hard.
“That’s playing completely unfair.” Kagome muttered.
“I care because?” Kikyo mocked. “It’s not like I would want to play by the rules when I’m playing with you.”
“Mother fucker.” Kagome said as she pulled herself up from the floor.
“Kagome! Don’t you dare attack her again!” Mrs.Higurashi yelled.
“Mom! For the first time in my life.” Kagome swung at Kikyo again, connected with her side. “I’m tell you to fuck off!” Mrs.Higurashi took a step back. Not believing that her baby girl would say something like that to her.
“Koga, you get Kikyo. I got Kagome.” Inuyasha said and in an instant he was behind Kagome, holding her arms. And Koga the same with Kikyo.
Unnoticed by everyone but Inuyasha, Kagome seemed to be trying to sink into him, so he let his body relax a bit just to see what she would do. And he felt himself get seriously aroused when her ass connected with his crotch.
Resisting the urge to groan he held her tight, and she pressed herself harder onto him. He knew that by now Koga could probably smell his arousal.
And when he looked at said wolf, who was giving him a seriously weird look, he knew he was right. Inuyasha gave Koga a look that told him to fuck off, and -if he felt like it- he’d talk about it later. Koga nodded and Miroku came between the girls.
“Now ladies. As interesting and amusing a cat fight may be this is not the time nor place for it.” Miroku completely forgot the part about it being seriously arousing when girls tore at each other, ripping each other’s clothes off. But maybe that was a good thing. It wouldn’t’ be right to mention that in front of Mrs.Higurashi.
Kikyo hissed and tried to grab at Miroku. Kagome cursed under her breath.
Inuyasha had never seen Kagome this mad. And he had never heard her swear like this. Let alone towards someone.
“Let go of me!” Kagome yelled, thrashing against Inuyasha.
“Relax Kagome.”
“Don’t tell me to relax.” she hissed at him, sending a frosted glare over her shoulder. “I don’t see why you’re still trying to protect her.”
“I have my reasons.”
“After what she did to you!?” Kagome yelled. “What she did to you is enough reason for me to kick her ass!” That shocked him. Kagome wasn’t fighting Kikyo because she felt like she needed to. She was fighting her because she felt like she had to for him.
Then he got an idea.
“How would Inu-Niichan take it if he knew you were fighting like this?” Kagome’s eyes went wide for a minute before she shrugged.
“Dunno, and at the moment I don’t care if the whole world knows about this.”
“That can be arranged.” Kikyo said calmly.
“Fuck you!” Kagome yelled. “And before you make some stupid comment. That wasn’t an offer.”
“Like I’d take an offer like that from you.”
“Why don’t you just go back to your whore house and leave me alone!?”
“Who says I’m not looking at the whore house right now.” Kikyo snapped. And Kagome growled.
“That’s it you little bitch!” she shot Inuyasha a look over her shoulder. “Sorry.” and she kicked him in the gut. At least she had some consideration to not kick him in the groin. But he went down on his knees either way.
And Kagome had Koga out of the way before anyone of them could blink, punching Kikyo all over again.
Koga pulled himself off his ass and rubbed his cheek. “That’s gonna bruise.” he muttered. Inuyasha pulled himself up too. And rubbed his abused stomach.
“Damn, girls got power behind that.” he snapped at no one in particular.
“Kagome!” Mrs.Higurashi yelled. “You will stop this now!” Kagome cursed under her breath yet again and backed away from Kikyo.
“Lookie here. Looks like you’re still taking orders from your mommy.” and Kagome went t go after her again but Inuyasha held her back.
“Is this what happened to my dear cousin after her dear daddy died.” and Kagome winched and whimpered. She tried to push herself into Inuyasha yet again. But it didn’t work.
“Seems like it is. Poor baby.” Kikyo smiled. “But, I think I’ve paid a long enough visit. Good bye.” she walked past them. And out the door.
Inuyasha could smell the tears in her eyes now. And he desperately wanted to hug her but knew he couldn’t.
“Kagome-”
“I’m sorry.” she whispered it, with her head down. “I shouldn’t have kicked you like that. You can let me go now. I’m alright.” when his grip loosened a bit she shrugged his hands off and walked up the stairs.
“Oh, Kagome.” Mrs.Higurashi whispered to herself as she watched her go up the stairs. “Why did I have to invite that botch over? I knew how much they don’t get along.”
“What happened to her father?”
“Her father died when she was younger. Some gang had a drive by, he got caught in it.”
“Oh.” everyone whispered, and looked back up at the stairs.
“She’s probably going to lock herself up in her room again. I better go call Satoshi.” Mrs.Higurashi said and she went for the phone.
“No, that’s alright.” Sango said. “I know someone who would help even more.” She looked at Inuyasha who groaned.
“Come on.” he whined.
“We know how much you hate being human-” and Sango stopped when she remembered Mrs.Higurashi was still in the room.
“Human?” she asked. “What do you mean?” Everyone gulped and looked at her.
“I’m a…demon.” Koga muttered. “And he’s a half demon.” he said, pointing at Inuyasha.
“Demons?”
“We don’t wanna hurt you if that’s what your thinking. But… you know that Inu-Niichan person Kagome’s been hanging around with?” Koga asked.
“Yes.” Inuyasha stepped forwards, pulled the necklace on and Mrs.Higurashi gasped.
“You can’t tell her though.” he said. “She can’t know. Not yet. I don’t want to scare her.” he sounded like he was pleading with her.
“Alright I won’t tell her. Seeing as you don’t seem to do us any harm.”
“We don’t. We promise that.” Inuyasha said. Before walking towards the stairs and smiling. “No worries. I’ll have her laughing in no time.” and with that he was headed up the stairs and Mrs.Higurashi laughed.
“Lets just hope she realizes who he is before it’s too late.” she whispered. “Yeah, we’ve have similar thoughts.” Sango said, before heading to the living room again.

A/N: Well. There is chapter 6. I know Kagome was a little OOC. But…deal with it. I wanted to make a Kagome and Kikyo fight scene or something. And I guess this is how it turned out.
But, Inuyasha’s secret is out, and Mrs.Higurashi is going to keep it a secret.

“Lookie here. Looks like you’re still taking orders from your mommy.” and Kagome went t go after her again but Inuyasha held her back.
“Is this what happened to my dear cousin after her dear daddy died.” and Kagome winched and whimpered. She tried to push herself into Inuyasha yet again. But it didn’t work.
“Seems like it is. Poor baby.” Kikyo smiled. “But, I think I’ve paid a long enough visit. Good bye.” she walked past them. And out the door.
Inuyasha could smell the tears in her eyes now. And he desperately wanted to hug her but knew he couldn’t.
“Kagome-”
“I’m sorry.” she whispered it, with her head down. “I shouldn’t have kicked you like that. You can let me go now. I’m alright.” when his grip loosened a bit she shrugged his hands off and walked up the stairs.
“Oh, Kagome.” Mrs.Higurashi whispered to herself as she watched her go up the stairs. “Why did I have to invite that botch over? I knew how much they don’t get along.”
“What happened to her father?”
“Her father died when she was younger. Some gang had a drive by, he got caught in it.”
“Oh.” everyone whispered, and looked back up at the stairs.
“She’s probably going to lock herself up in her room again. I better go call Satoshi.” Mrs.Higurashi said and she went for the phone.
“No, that’s alright.” Sango said. “I know someone who would help even more.” She looked at Inuyasha who groaned.
“Come on.” he whined.
“We know how much you hate being human-” and Sango stopped when she remembered Mrs.Higurashi was still in the room.
“Human?” she asked. “What do you mean?” Everyone gulped and looked at her.
“I’m a…demon.” Koga muttered. “And he’s a half demon.” he said, pointing at Inuyasha.
“Demons?”
“We don’t wanna hurt you if that’s what your thinking. But… you know that Inu-Niichan person Kagome’s been hanging around with?” Koga asked.
“Yes.” Inuyasha stepped forwards, pulled the necklace on and Mrs.Higurashi gasped.
“You can’t tell her though.” he said. “She can’t know. Not yet. I don’t want to scare her.” he sounded like he was pleading with her.
“Alright I won’t tell her. Seeing as you don’t seem to do us any harm.”
“We don’t. We promise that.” Inuyasha said. Before walking towards the stairs and smiling. “No worries. I’ll have her laughing in no time.” and with that he was headed up the stairs and Mrs.Higurashi laughed.
“Lets just hope she realizes who he is before it’s too late.” she whispered. “Yeah, we’ve have similar thoughts.” Sango said, before heading to the living room again.

A/N: Well. There is chapter 6. I know Kagome was a little OOC. But…deal with it. I wanted to make a Kagome and Kikyo fight scene or something. And I guess this is how it turned out.
But, Inuyasha’s secret is out, and Mrs.Higurashi is going to keep it a secret.
