Hey, I haven't updated since May 23rd or something like that! Wow, that was awhile ago... so I've decided to update today!! YAY!!!

sixteen - Nine Months Later and One Baby Later
IMPORTANT. Kagome was ONE month pregnant when she told Inu-Yasha that she was pregnant, so that means that her child is ONE month old. Just thought you should know she had the baby a month before))
Dear Diary,
A lot has happened since I last wrote in you nine months ago with the news of my pregnancy...
I told Inu-Yasha that I was pregnant in person. He took it well, but was shocked, too. He promised me that he would be there for me throughout my whole entire pregnancy and for the birth of the baby. Then he kissed me... but I told him that I couldn't be with him anymore, no matter how much I loved him. And it was true, too. I was madly in love with him, I didn't want to leave him... but I couldn't do that again, not after he hurt me like that. Inu-Yasha kept his promise, too. Throughout my whole entire pregnancy, Inu-Yasha was there. Miroku and Sango were really good friends, too, coming over after school. Kaede also helped me by homeschooling me. (Not in summer, but in Augest, after summer vacation)
When I was about two months pregnant, Sango informed me that she was also pregnant. I was very happy for her, but slightly disappointed that she had made the same mistake that I had. Sango, like me, had to drop out of school. Her mother, though, did not take it like my grandmother. She screamed and told her "You are not my daughter, you are dead to me! Get out, get out!!" Sango, as you can see, was kicked out of her home and then arrived at my doorstep. Grandmother Kaede, of course, took her in and now she lives with us and shares my room. Though she can be a pain sometimes, she's still the same lovable and sweet Sango. Miroku was there for Sango and vowed to take care of the baby. He kept his promise and is still with Sango to this day.
When I was nearing the end of my second month of pregnancy, Suzuna started to notice my stomache was getting big. "Big Sister," she asked me one day. "Why is your stomahce so big?"
I smiled slightly and told her the truth. "Yashi and I are going to have a baby." She smiled and was very excited. Though she wasn't quite old enough to know how babies are made, she knew that the women were supposed to carry the babies for nine months and then give birth. Suzuna also didn't know what giving birth meant, but she knew that the mother had to give birth.
Nothing really important happened when I was three months pregnant, but something did take place when I was in my fourth month. Inu-Yasha came to my house after school like he did everyday, but was acting different, like something was on his mind. I asked him what was bothering him, and he told me nothing.

I began. "What's wrong?"
shook his head and then assured me, "Nothing, nothing's wrong."
wouldn't believe him, though; I knew him since 8th grade and I also know when he's distracted. "No, Inu-Yasha, you seem kind of out there today."
blushed. "Well, something kind of is on my mind..." He trailed off.

cut him off with a kiss. I could tell that he was shocked, but he kissed me back. We kissed for what seemed like hours, though, in reality, it was only for a few minutes. I never wanted him to let me go, I wanted him to hold me in my arms for forever.
I didn't understand why he thought I was so beautiful. I was just wearing a long, black skirt and a baggy black maternity shirt that read "Life is short. Might as well spend it fat and having everyone waiting on you." But it didn't matter to me, I was in my lover's arms and that made me happy enough.
FLASHBACK----------
That changed my life. Then on Inu-Yasha and I have been together again... He is just so cute and sweet. He promised me that he wouldn't ever cheat on me again... and if he does, I will have to rip his intestines out through his throat, no matter how much I care for him. ^-^
The next few months were uneventful, Inu-Yasha reporting to my house right after school everyday. And on Saturday nights we would take walks and go on dates. When the doctor asked me if I wanted to know if it was a boy or a girl, I told him I didn't want to find out; I would see when my son or daughter was ready to come into the world.
And then, I'll never forget it, on January 27th, I went into labor. It was while Inu-Yasha was in school, sadly. Sango was in the room when it happened, she quickly got Grandmother Kaede and they rushed me over to the hospital. I told them frustradedly through gritted teeth to get my lover, Inu-Yasha. School or no, he had to be there to see the birth of his child.
Inu-Yasha, of course, was dismissed from school and was at the hospital as fast as he could. The doctor told us that it would be a few hours before I was actually ready to give birth. This news annoyed me a bit because I was in so much pain I just wanted to give birth already and get it over with.
Inu-Yasha stuck by my side throughout the waiting period, and then the doctor came in and checked on me. He informed me that I was fully dialated and ready to give birth. Needless to say I was very thankful.
After about five minutes, a screaming baby was brought into this earth. They handed a scissor-looking thing to Inu-Yasha, asking him if he wanted to cut it. His eyes were wide but he accepted. The doctors and nurses cleaned up the baby and put it into my arms.
"So beautiful...." I whispered with a smile.
"Yes..." Inu-Yasha agreed admiredly. "So very precious."
Then came the question as to what to name our child. After three minutes of failed attempts of names, one just seemed so perfect. "Maririn...." I thought aloud.
"Maririn..." Inu-Yasha repeated with a spreading smile. "What a beautiful name... it does sound very nice..."
"Hai," I said, this time more sure of this name. "This is Maririn, our baby daughter."
what did you think? Don't think this indenting thing will become permanent or anything, that was just a diary entry. So, what do ya think? I chose Maririn 'cause it's "Marliyn" in Japanese and I just love the name Marilyn... Maybe 'cause of Mariliyn Manosn, but hey, Marilyn's a unisex name!
